    Wtf??? Eddie looks a THOUSAND times better than those first couple clips we saw of him.
    Neil’s knowledge and passion for strength & combat sports is palpable, I’d love to see Eddie pull this off

    I know that 6 months of a lead or so is a big deal when your starting out, but even with that extra time, I really think a lot of people are overlooking Eddie for this titan match. Brian may be the big guy with big levers. But I think the sport and Neil have shown/said to us so many times that while "size does matter", there is a lot more to it than just being bigger. Especially if Eddie can really nail that setup right. Making Brain open up his arm/flexer to equal those webbings and getting Brian on the B side with his speed, just might make Brian even look hopeless. I'm not saying it is the most likely scenario, but I surely wouldn't count it out from happening just because Brian is who he is, Eddie still has so much of his strength from the strongman days.
    Can't wait to see more content with Eddie and see his progress. The day they meet up in dubai, it'll be so weird seeing them next to all the other familiar armwrestling faces, but in a good way, and it's going to be epic!

    • @Papaspronator
      @Papaspronator Місяць тому +1

      Dude Eddie is going to get destroyed. Brian has been training for over a year, is bigger and has a lot better genetics for the sport. But the biggest reason is you can’t build up the necessary tendon integrity and structure to safely perform a press against a high level opponent in such a short amount of time. If he tries to press Brian the most likely outcome is a broken arm. If Eddie had a year to prepare like Brian then maybe but under this scenario there is no chance.

    • @hairyape_8103
      @hairyape_8103 29 днів тому +1

      @@Papaspronatorhes an elite strength athlete, his tendons are naturally thicker and more robust. The sport of Strongman especially at the top selects for it. But if he gets in a bad position i agree it could be snap city. If his press is technically sound i think he'll be fine

    • @Papaspronator
      @Papaspronator 29 днів тому +1

      @ it doesn’t matter. Strongmen aren’t conditioned for arm wrestling. Magnus Samuelson broke a top strongman’s arm on WSM on camera. You can break your arm even if you are a strongman. Going for a press is a dangerous move if you aren’t conditioned for arm wrestling even if you do it with good form it can be very dangerous.

      @@Papaspronator Given Eddie's attitude, I really don't think he cares much about the risks. High risk, high reward, is his way. We'll see if that works.

    Eddie looks hugely improved. Based on the boxing though, I don't know if I'd be saying "you're looking good" to him, I'd be saying "nah mate, you suck" to get him to push even harder. Eddie could be properly scary in this sport, although so could Brian.
    Am I, a weak nerd, giving coaching tips to Neil, possibly my favourite arm wrestler of all time and a legend in various capacities on multiple sports? No, that would be ridiculous. I'm giving coaching tips to my boss who needs to learn that saying positive things just annoys me because I can't improve on being right; I'm just switching the names out so I can boost the algorithm on a chronically under-subscribed channel and show this to my boss later to piss him off 😁

    The real question is weather Brian can handle a big hit... because in the past every single time he pull someone they both start very slow, and if eddie can try to flash pin it might work since Brian muscle arent used to sudden pressure, but i still think Brian will still be overall more powerfull, but i've seen many times that flash pins real do well with big muscly guys that does everything sooo slow...

    I do believe that Mr. Hall has a good chance of achieving better technique than Mr. Shaw given the stellar mentorship he's getting from Neil. Shaw is strong as anything bit after months lf working woth others still looks stiff. I think because he's stronger than all his training partners it makes makes it hard for him to get an idea of how efficient technique works. Hopefully Eddie can take advantage of this.
    Good luck.

    The biggest issue is going to be levers. Brian is way stronger than Eddie especially being Brian is only in a year of retirement and Eddie retired in 2019 from strongman. Brian's length is 100% going to be the biggest issue. Eddie is not technical enough to work around it.(yet) Eddie also is almost always injured going into these kind of events...
