As someone who’s only started DIY detailing for about a month and consumed hundred hours of detailing videos, this is probably one of the most comprehensive tips and tricks from start to finish. Big ups to the video editor for the eye candy shots and soothing BGM. Everything is just *chef’s kiss*
There is not a better detailer on the face of the planet. Maybe some like him, but he is the cream of the crop. I love Sandro and he has taken my game to another level. An obsessed level
I have also just started and this video is just epic! I had my own car done in full PPF. My goal is to ever be able to do this my own
Sandro is probably the best car detailer in the world. The whole reason I decided to paint correct and ceramic coat my car (UK 3.0) on my own was because of Sandro. This was maybe six years ago now. Still watching, still detailing.
For sure! I’ve been detailing 10+ years and still love watching him work getting some great tips along the way. All the best as you progress bud. Check out diy detail too if you haven’t already
Sandro,
I can’t tell you how happy I am for you. Your success with the business and online only points back to all of your effort, work-ethic and intentions. You don’t only do the hobby/industry a great service, but inspire those at home to sweat all the details they can in all they do.
Cheers mate!
That is hands down the best color of paint you could possibly put on a car. I’d have one in flat and one with gloss flake. You really gave this thing the business Sandro, you never give it less than all you have and it shows!!
Sandro's videos are pure therapy :). And one interesting thing, if you look on the comments, in all his content, there is zero hate or negative. That alone says a lot. All the best!
The amount of care and attention to detail you undertake is incredible, and you explain everything so clearly and calmly. I hope one day I own a nice enough car to take to you!
You are truly an expert.I have learned so much from you.Thank you very much for that
Another hands down amazing video the content is just flawless the video the editing the work everything from start to finish Sandro is always top tier. I find your videos always to be very planned out and educational as well as therapeutic. Thank you for always providing amazing content and I can’t wait to see more amazing content from you.
What a beautiful color! I wish I had a air compressor, that Tornador tool that allows you to put any chemical you want into the bottle and then use minimal product shot onto the surface in a high pressure stream is absolutely brilliant. I would love to have one of those! That is one lucky owner to not only have this beautiful Audi, but to have Sandro complete his signature detailing processes on this vehicle making it far better than it ever was when it rolled out of the showroom.
Thank you for all your videos extremely valuable knowledge in every video has helped me grow my detailing business and skills
The car looks absolutely amazing! Your work is second to none! Cheers Sandro.
This came out FANTASTIC! I love your rigor, not just with the detailing, but the making of the video! Well done!
Wow Sandro, what a stunning result. Keep up the amazing work.
Stunning car, stunning results. Thanks for all the extra effort you go into to provide us with these videos, it keeps me inspired, informed and looking forward to my next job. God bless.
Watching Sandro detail a car is akin to watching an artist paint or draw. So satisfying to watch & informative for some of us enthusiasts who want to learn more. Keep up the great work I think I've watched every video you've made just about.
A true master mate absolutely stunning!
1st class work from you as always, an inspiration for anyone with your work.
The best in the business doing what he does.
Sandro, your work is always world class, but this car in particular just came out looking unbelievable. Incredible job, mate. Thanks for sharing your work with us. Also, thanks for sharing your knowledge of the craft itself; probably 98% of everything I know about polishing is from your content.
Be well-praying for you, my friend.
Unreal, respect for the workmanship and transparency - elite content mate.
Brilliant job on that Audi. It doesn't matter whether the car is brand new or several years old, you always manage to make it look its best. Cheers Sandro, and have a good week .
ty for having a great in depth detail on how to detail an audi exclusive color
This has been a joy to watch, welldone
Simply stunning Sandro. You have a gift
Simply brilliant Sandro.
Brilliant, stunning, georgous!!
Love your work!!
Thank you Sensei Sandro, as always entertaining watch, top notch production and amazing results!
Those vlogs are the real detailing therapy 👏
Best detailing channel on UA-cam!🎉😊
Hello and Cheers from Texas! Your videos have been very helpful to me (and no doubt many others) and I’ve used many of your tips to make my BMW M4 as perfect as possible. Thanks for all the great content! 👍😊🏁
Absolutely amazing results.
Brilliant! Great attention to detail and the video and cinematography is stunning. Love it
Hands down, you're a beast. I just enjoy every video you made.... awesome job, man
Hot damn Maestro, you’ve done it again 😮
Impeccable work, Sandro. You’re inspiring!
What a project! That is one lucky owner...
Great video! Amazing job well done on the car. I wasn’t a big fan of the colour at first but wow it is beautiful. I love watching these videos it’s so satisfying. Sandro your the man!
Great job! Brilliant attention to detail...thanks!
Really enjoyed that so satisfying to watch from start to finish. Its nice you included all the products used during the process 👌
AMAZING JOB. VIDEO AND PASSION
God blesses you as well Sandro! You are the best!!!
So satisfying to watch.
Great info and amazing job and video as always! Great car and colour getting the full treatment with a sensational result. Well done.
Had a dealership coating from Toyota last on my Rav last up until I sold it at nearly 4.5 years. Car did 70 thou and I reckon the coating could of lasted another 3 years easy. There is nothing stopping a detailer working for a dealer from using a known brand product. I appreciate people being protective of their business, but we shouldn't just write off what the dealder provides....heck we trust em to sell and make a car dont we ? Great job as usual :)
Thanks mate, and just sharing my first hand experience with many dealership coatings I’ve removed and reapplied - but great to hear you had a fantastic result with yours!
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing But I agree the dealers are nowhere putting in the time and effort you would do. But they have brand new paint to work with, so unless already swirled it's easy for them.
Thank you.
Absolute perfection! Well done
Sandro. You have the best car detailing content around. Hello from England 👋🏼
Excellent work as usual!
Absolutely beautiful results Sandro
Fantastic work as always Sandro 👍🏻 Been waiting for this video to drop and it didn't disappoint!
Wow! Amazing Job Sandro
As always sandro, the best detailing jobs without click bait like color foaming and stuff, you are the best
Saw this in person outside when you were recording and didn’t want to interrupt to say hi! Looked amazing and inspiring - thanks for the video
Made up your back Sandro, you’ve cut the grass sorted out the mower and now a full detail spectacular. The Audi looks gorgeous.
Thanks to your teachings and me acquiring coating thickness gauge did a full detail on Ferrari 575M lots of swirls on black paint. Using your techniques for choosing pad compound polish etc it came out great. The owner was made up. Thankyou so much 👍👍👍
So awesome to hear that mate, well done and thanks!
Please keep the vids coming Sandro I know it’s a lot of hard work, just the detail is hard never mind the video editing on top. It took 3 days for my back to recover from the two 12 hr days I put in mind you I’m nearly 60 😂😂
A beautiful car getting the proper treatment from a detailing master 💘
yay.. sandro back with another detailing vid.. i miss these :) cheers mate hope ur doing well
That looks absolutely stunning, Sandro!!! I had PPF applied 3 days after collecting my brand new 2020 8V Dark Red Mica RS3 sedan and it was the best decision I made. 4 years on and it's held up really well (it's STEK brand), but at 5 year mark, I'll probably get it redone as it's taken a few bumps and chips. This sure makes me wanna bring it to you for a good refresh!
God bless and thanks, top-notch work
Wow! What a fantastic job 👏👏👏
Beautiful work the car looks amazing
I'm a mobile detailer and I strive for these kinds of results. I know it's different being mobile to being in a shop, but wow your work is fantastic!
Graet car, nice colour and finally excellent job done to protect this awsome car 👌
I was hoping not long ago that your next video released would be this format!! Love your work mate :)
Never seen a work cleaner then that. Just insane! 🔥
Stunning well done.
GREAT JOB, GREAT VIDEO!!!...Greetings from México, maestro Sandro.
to me, the best part of this video starts after 42:00 haha! jaw-dropping result
Inspiring content as always man
Thanks for the tip with Purify! I use that for chemical decontamination and wondered if it left residue that clogged coatings. I’ll make sure to check the feel of the surfaces next time 😅
When you first drove that RS3 in to the garage, my first thought was - how much can you really improve a paintwork on a brand new car that already looked good? Well, i stand corrected...amazing work Sandro
I just found your site, and really enjoyed watching this detail. Great job and cheers from 🇨🇦
Look up his Ferrari F430 vid and you’ll be trapped forever :)
Ha, already am!
Awesome video. Beautiful editing. Amazing result. I hate to think what this would have cost. All that PPF would be $$$
Great timing! I got an RS3 Sportback in Kemora Grey arriving very soon
Faaaark Sandro that colour is BEAUTIFUL 😍😍😍
The Goodwood Green looks even better in person!
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing The owner is lucky!
Great video
Money well spent by the owner. With treatment like that car is going to hold its value nicely!
Beautiful!
Happy Father's day Sandro Stagnos 👍🏼🖖 👔
HOLY SHIIIIT! That's what I Call a HEAD TURNER! It be like seeing a number 10 female walking down the street! Beautiful job!
No way you know how to remove wheels Sandro)))))))))) It went out gorgeous man! I was enjoying the whole process including your video shooting and music you put on. Another thing is I am starting to suspect you have Viking roots as you was in a T-shirt these winter days and PPF guys in warm cloth))))) Very nice vlog Sandro! Cheers from Sweden.
idk how i feel about this video crop
nevermind, it was only on my phone that it broke... on my tv i got to see your work in all its glory
Thank you Sandro... you are the Godfather of detailing !!! A question if you did not use purify to further strip the coating.. what are the issues it causes in the polishing pads if you were to skip the step of using Purify ?
Thanks and my pleasure mate.
Collecting wax, sealant or coating residue can change the way your polish and pads behave, sometimes that can be very sticky wipe-offs, increased dusting, decreased cutting ability and your pads getting overloaded with residue quickly. It can also cause things like haze and marring in the finish.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Thank you Sandro.. looking forward to your next video :)
I had to wait 18 months for my RS3 in the UK; I would have liked Sepang Blue but could not wait that long for an exclusive colour. I had Xpel PPF applied to my car, which was topped with a Gyeon professional coating.
Nice daily driver!
I have to change my pants... incredible work.
Great job!
Amazing!!!
Where to get that swivel attachment for the Tornador, Sandro?
It actually came with the new Tornador Max
Good video!
Amazing 😮
Wonder if you could do a video on removing stains from PPF? We have a Jimny that was wrapped in Xpel PPF in 2022. Over time the PPF has begun to get dark stains from not being washed regularly and even after a thorough wash, they still persist.
That is really sweet Sandro. Thanks for bringing me along.
Q. When you ceramic coat door jambs... Do you keep the door's a jar or even open while it's curing for 24 hours? Or do you just apply the ceramic coating to the door jambs wait for say an hour and then close the door and let it cure with the door closed? Thanks. 👍😁
My pleasure mate, and I’ll try and leave the doors open for at least an hour or two - as long as I can but that will also depend on what else I need to do.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Thank you for taking time to answer my question. 👍🙂
Wheels Off now that's proper detailing
So soothing and satisfying to my soul watching master Sandro detailing it to perfection 😊.
Doesn't the carpro ppf require ceramic coating on top? I have xpel ppf and was advised xpel own coating is a must on top.
Glad you enjoyed the video.
Carpro Immortal already has a built in ceramic coating layer - though you can still layer it if you wish
What's the strongest coating that you've seen NV purge/purify successfully remove? I'm asking because I'm assuming the dealership coating in the video was a weaker one.
I’m not sure as typically it’s not going to remove a good coating that’s been applied well with good prep - unless it’s old and on its way out or unless you go nuts and keep on hitting it aggressively over and over.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing makes sense. Seems like a very useful product regardless
Nicely done. Do you ceramic coat the headlights? Also, how does a ceramic coating hold up to high heat of brake calipers? Great job as always!
Thanks and on that vehicle the headlights had PPF applied but yes I do ceramic coat them as well, I find that coatings on both wheels and brakes don’t tend to last as long as on the cars paint but can still last a good year or two.
Neat, I just washed my sisters A3 today! She bought it brand new. I should probably paint correct it and coat it, right? What else to do with brand new cars?
Sandro can you help me please!?!? I have an 07 Volvo s80 v8 with genuine perforated leather. I am a detailer my self but have not experienced this before. A can of soda exploded in my car when left in the heat and covered everything, but mostly soaked into my leather seat and hardened in it 😢. I love this car and especially the nice leather seats. Everything else is easily cleanable or replaceable. I have tried everything I can think of to soften and remove the sugar-syrup from the seat but cannot get through it. Do you have any ideas at all? Also, thank you for your time and effort with all your videos. You are easily the best and most knowledgeable detailing UA-cam channel I know. You’ve been a huge inspiration and help for me starting my own detailing business from your videos to your Amazon list. Thank you so much!
Sorry to hear that mate, and it’s a tricky situation. Maybe a long session with a steamer and pressuring down with microfibre cloths with heavy pressure could help. You may even need to firstly start by soaking some microfibre cloths in hot soapy water and laying them on the seat for about an hour to prior to cleaning. The issue is it’s hard to remove the soda without inducing more hot water, so you may need to really get the seat saturated and then press hard to soak up and extract all the liquid back out. Sometimes it’s also a matter of repeating the process, give it a go, let it all dry and settle and then go again a few days later, and again a few days later after that. Hope it all works out mate!
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Thanks so much! I will definitely give that a go! Sorry I forgot my name isn't on here!
Thanks!
Caleb
Hi Sandro!!! What would you suggest as a good alternative to NV Nova Wheel coating? Winter is right around the corner here in Belgium... thnx!
CQuartz Dlux has always been a favourite, not only of mine but I tend to hear a lot of people have great success with it as well - 2 layers will be the way to go about an hour apart 🙂
Nice work! Amazing car. I was wondering how you tackle rusty brake discs after washing during this long process?
Thanks and I just drive the car back and forth a few times, the braking will shave all the rust off and you can blow it away with compressed air.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Roger that I do the same! Wasn't sure if there was some other way to do it.
I know where im coming when i get my 8Y RS3
Top job, as always, Sandro!! It is indeed a fantastic paint, that Goodwood Green. As mentioned in another comment, I have learned the most about detailing thanks to you. Concerning GForce, how did you apply the 2 coats? 1 immediately after the other and wiping down instantly? Thnx man!!!
Thanks and really nice to hear that mate.
I layered GForce about 30mins apart and any streaks were levelled down immediately after working the coating in.
What combo did you use to polish the glass? I know you say that glass is much harder than paint, can I use CarPro ClearCut with the Glass Pad? Or would you suggest something different? Thnx man!
It was the same combo I used on the paint. Yes you can use ClearCut, but I find the Rayon glass pads very aggressive, so I would use them unless the glass is severely scratched as they can create micro scratches of their own.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Appreciated Sandro! Thnx for the advice. 👍🏻
