    Do yourself a favor and put a burglar-deterrence strip of steel on the catch side of that rear door and wide enough to cover the jamb. Better safe than sorry. Nice progress!

      Good advice: mech shops are targeted by crooks because tools are currency in the crim economy.

    It’s looking amazing! May I suggest that next time you try using a grey primer instead of a white one? The only time you should use white primer is when you’re painting your walls white, if you’re putting color on them you should always go with a light grey primer, makes covering it up much easier than bright white!

    To prevent that epoxy floor from coming up after a couple of months you will need to grind the floor for best results, acid etching kind of work if the concrete is already clean but grinding it would be if you want it to last. Just speaking from experience.

    You threw Black over that White primer? Have them mix in to the primer for the other walls at least to Grey if not to Black. Primer doesn’t have to be White.
    Looks great! Making it come together.

    might want to check the fire code on locking an emergency exit door. the BIG bar is a " panic bar" so you can leave, then you put a small dead bolt to fiddle with. Dont die in a fire.

    I would like to see a how to video for starting your own business. I want to own my own shop doing everything from levels to lifts and mild to wild horsepower. I’m in Oklahoma and have years of experience but don’t know where to start for pricing, I can schedule great but price point and finding customers is the hard part as of right now. I do it as a side gig right now but want to go full time and ditch the commute to work and line somebody else’s pockets doing stuff I don’t like doing. I hope you see this, I have been here since the silver 2g in Hawaii! Love the content, keep up the grind 😎👊🏼

    Hi guy,
    Your shop is starting to look better and better but I don’t understand so well why you’ve painted the walls first in white and than in black.
    With us in the Netherlands they sell wall paint which is covering opaque in 1 go without seeing what was on the walls before and even graffiti can't be seen anymore. This paint isn’t cheap at all but it saves a lot of time.
    Anyways I think the shop will look very nice in the en
    Wish you lots of success with this process and send you love from the Netherlands

  • @mackjeez
    @mackjeez 2 роки тому

    What's with this new thing with youtubers painting warehouse/garage walls black? They make the space look smaller and contrary to popular belief black shows dirt pretty well even more than white walls. The worst part is a fully black room causes stress and anxiety over time, if you wanted a neutral dark theme you should have used black at the bottom 1/3 of the wall and white on top, it would make it look really clean.
