Demo’d both and ended up getting the Vcore 98 over the Ezone. Even with the higher RA rating, I felt that it was more comfortable. Coming from 5+ years with a pure drive.
attaboy
Same. I played roddick pd tour for 12 years.
Great video. How does these two rackets compare to Head Speed MP? Feel, power, spin, etc. Thank you.
Can't wait for that regna review!!
Sorry but my english is from google translator
I test both rackets.
The ezone is a racket easier to adapt to it. He fires a lot and controls the ball well. From day one I was comfortable with her.
The vcore provides a greater sense of solidity. I had a hard time adjusting to it. He has a lot of ball control and fires just enough to be able to hit him hard with control. At first I was going to stick with the ezone, but once I got used to the vcore I stayed with it. I have been with the vcore for more than three months and it seems to me an exceptional racket
I used to play with the previous Vcore 98, then got the Ezone 98, and now playing with the new Vcore 98. It's an amazing frame that gives me unprecedented directional control and access to spin. It swings fast and enables me to hit through the ball, and I prefer it to the Ezone 98. I use a hybrid bed strung at 50 pounds.
Thank you
I concur. I was able to aim for my targets and paint the lines with pinpoint accuracy which gave me the freedom to go for my shots without any hesitation that the ball would fly out. Only downside is the volleys since it is quite head light. But if you give it extra stab then volleys definitely would stick.
Any news if the vcore pro will be coming out with a new model?
ezone tour is my favorite, the only racket that I liked more than my prestige MP youtek
Loving the new vcore 98. It’s comfortable with a large sweet spot. Also, the higher launch angle is a much better fit for my game. I’ve owned and demoed a lot of Yonex frames in the past couple years and struggled with the low launch angle on most of them.
Low launch angle was definitely my issue with the ezone tour. Somewhat of an issue with vcore95. Have you compared vcore 95 and 98?
I have not played with the latest gen vcore 95 but I was playing with the previous gen (2018) vcore 95 prior to switching to the vcore 98. It had a lower launch angle compared to the 98 and was also less forgiving. With the 98, the sweetspot feels huge in comparison. I felt I had to work too hard with the 95 and I struggled if my game and footwork wasn't perfect
I moved from Pure Drive 100 to Ezone 98 due to arm issues. Arm is fine now but I also miss Spin. I've changed strings but I don't think made much difference... Ezone responds much better when I play flatter shots. I plan to move to Vcore 98 when I feel confident about my arm and have a chance to test it for at least a month.
I fell out of love with the Vcore 98 and have since moved on. I’m not sure if it was the launch angle or what, but it started becoming unpredictable at times and I didn’t like the muted feel. For the past several months, the extreme tour has been my main stick and I also carry the 2013 apd.
I toggle between the two. love them to bits.
I've just picked up the Vcore, so I'm really keen on what it's like? Love my Ezone but need more topspin to work the point more.
@@danoliver8804 for sure more spin on vcore. less power/stability. my kick superkicks with the v, mate. rock on.
@@tbwatch88 What string & tension did you go for?
Vcore Pro 97 HD is quite simply the best racquet ive tried, demoed over 20 in past year. The VDM in the handle is the most genius tennis innovation in years.
I own a ezone tour 98, a vcore 98, but still, I just ordered a vcore pro hd, can’t wait to try it!
all yonex racquets how have vdm in the handle including of course vcores.
Thanks for the great video! I’m an upper intermediate player getting arm pain from the Pure Aero 100. I’m looking at these for better comfort and control, but still want to get spin and power like the Aero. The VCore sounds ideal but would you only recommend for advanced players?
Hello from Brazil TennisNerd!!
How about serve and slices.. which one is better??
Thx.. i love your reviews
I was in the process of testing different rackets, in the past i played a lot with wilson pro staff, my game is based on attack and is agressive but i need to put some spin on clay.
I really loved the new Vcore98 it's a great frame, it's precise, can generate a ton of lift and has a good amount of power, i really would have been keen on testing this frame in 95SI but it's not that easy to find. I didn't like that much the ezone98, i can't explain exactly why, it just didn't feel right, maybe too much power in this frame. In the end, and after several other tests with other frames, i choosed the HEAD Prestige MP 98. This frame is super good, control oriented, and cut's like a knife...if your footwork is ON. It feel's great on serve and at the net. Wonderfull frame, i choosed it because i absolutely need to improve my footwork and i like demanding frames it suits my game style, but i got the feeling i could switch for a vcore95 in the future
Great review
tried both!! EZONE 98 for me is way better!

Ezone 98 Vs Pure Strike 16x19. Which one and why, any favorable suggestions?
Get the ezone if you wanna play for a long time. Get the strike if you want to bust your arms fast.
@@kikibeldandy Ok, that is an interesting and valuable argument!!! Thank you!
@@kikibeldandy Seems like Pure Strike is for competitive players who play with full poly beds and do not care at all about playing through pain.
These comments are interesting... I bought a Pure Strike a couple of years ago, and I've had arm issues for the past 6 months or so. I demo'd a 6th generation VCore 98 and liked it the more I hit with it. I had the ezone 98 and didn't really like it that much.
Hey! would you reccomend the Ezone for 1 handed backhand players? I say this cause the throat shape is a little weird on the ezone, and maybe more square beam designs are better for the one hand backhand
Which would be a a better doubles racquet?
I've own both but I like the v core more. I found I've been hitting long a lot with the ezone.
Hello, please how the vcore 98 compare to the prince textreme tour 100 310 ans beast 98 ?
Just what was looking for a vcore user but flat strokes. Thanks
Could you mention about strings and tension used on this rackets play test ???
How are these rackets compare on the serve which one has more power?
Good one Jonas!, what about Pure Strike 3rd gen 18x20 vs Tecnifibre TFight 305 RS?
I don't know about Tecnifibre 305 RS but can tell you that Tecnifibre TFight 300 RS is a wonderful racket. Compared to Pure strike 3rd gen, its much more comfortable with great feel and stability.
Jonas, can you explain more about the 6 vs 8 Centre mains?
When there are more center mains in the throat, you get less spacing between them, a lower launch angle and more control because of the density of the mains in the sweetspot.
Hello!!! I would like to know how many knots to string my Yonex with, since I heard that by stringing with 2 knots there is a risk that the racket will deform. Thank you very much, greetings!
Hi, I always string four knots, but 2 knots should be fine.
yonex recommend to string 4 knots or if you string 2 knots and something happen warranty expires
Vcore 95, king of the Yonex frames right now.
Amen to that!
@@svlagonda7417 it’s underpowered but once you add some lead to 12 .... it’s great!
@@svlagonda7417 sure if you swing like a girl
Which one is better for the arm?
vcore with multifilament? how it will be
I wish they would make a VCore 100 Tour. The regular 100 sqi Vcore is too light (for me)
Which one is better for doubles?
Babolat pure drive 2015 ✌️
Which would be good for an intermediate
You just got a new Subscriber cause am a One Handed BackHand Player between the Yonex Vcore & Head Prestige MP & Wilson RF which of these brands should I buy am a One handed player & also for my serve I go with power like hittin Aces & all that Please Help me out
Thanks! Vcore 95 is my suggestion
@@Tennisnerd Basically this means I should shift to a Yonex Player Vcore Series in particular Thank You So Much 🙏🏼🤩will work on gettin the Vcore 95 for my game & settle with this racquet till hopefully by God's grace I turn pro Thank You this has Helped Alott🙏🏼
How do you compare the latest vcore 95 to the latest ezone? Which has more power?
Ezone has more power, but the Vcore 95 better feel/control
Hi! Wich one could you suggest for eastern forehand grip ant not so topspin shot? My shots usually go ~1m over net height. Single hand backhand. Attacking baseline play style. Tryed ezone - liked a lot! But do not have a possibilty to try vcore:( Thanks!!!
Probably Ezone as that style has limited spin potential anyway.
@@rsmith02 after playing with ezone got back to pure strike 17:) cant beat this one:/
Regna coming soon?
I’d compare the ezone 98 to the Vcore 95
I´m currently looking to swtich my pure drive tour plus, which one would you say has better control?
Thinking about getting the extended version of one of this rackets
I went EZone Tour
Thank you for the video! It was extremely helpful. I'm currently gravitating around those 2 rackets. I believe I'm 4-4.5, but I fear my upper body (back and shoulders) will not be "enough" for this weapons.
I was wondering, considering the fact that both rackets are 305g unstrung, how would you explain the difference in both strung weitghts?
Thank you!
owning both the vcore 98 and ezone 100, i feel the vcore is much better for flatter shots. probably user error on my end lol.
Is Vcore 100 recommended for flatter hitters? I'm an Intermediate - Eastern FH and Eastern 1 HBH
Move to 98 if you are advanced intermediate.
But the dr98 is really good amount all these years’ yonex 98 racquet imo
I have a fully western forehand I generate a lot of spin naturally so would the ezone 98 be good?
I think the VCORE 98 or 100 might suit you better
Ezone much better arm friendly.
No
why is the cost soo high... I wish I could play with them and I know Tennis is not for the poor but dam.
I totally value your opinion but I want to share with you something a little different which I know you can shed some light on. Why does the Vcore 98 feel a lot lighter than the Vcore 100 when they both weigh same exact weight?
Yes, more spin with the VCORE. The bigger the head size, the more the spin potential generally.
let’s go!!
Can you still hit flat with the vcore if needed to?
Yes, you can
I found the vcore 98 very firm, make me tennis elbow, never test the ezone.
What strings did you use? Ezone might be a bit more dampened.
I use hyperg 1.25 23kg, never had tenis elbow before, with other raquets, first time i use a 98, always 100
Same problem man did u end up switching rackets or no ?
@@lucabranco5330 yes
Its primarily the player, not the racquet but let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater ! 😊
