These blushes are beautiful, I love that there are so many natural looking colors. Lately the blush trends have been crazy colors, but I love the natural colors. I am interested in Forbidden.
I totally agree that these are more natural looking colors, I think that’s probably why they look unusual in the pan is because they tend to lean more skin-tone native! I love a bold blush but even lighter tones can be jarring if they’re too opaque or too “primary” colored.
How ? How could they not have Luster😢. Thrill Behave and sex appeal and now this Forbidden call to me but I'm a glowy blush fan and have plenty but these mattes intrigue me. Have you tried Haus lab blushes. What I like about those is that are not glowy but they dont look dry on cheeks. Are these matte more buttery on skin or a strong matte
These are not a strong matte at all, they will allow the finish of your foundation to come through. I’d say they feel similar to the touch as Haus Labs and they swatch similarly but I haven’t applied them side by side to compare how they wear.
Thank you so much for the swatch video. I love Nars blushes. My only complaint is that the current colors released are limited in tone. They seem to be all warm, coral, peach or bronze with a few exceptions. I really miss Sin, I was hoping Sin would be returned. Sin is cool-toned, lilac/mauve/plum and it looks great on ALL skin tones. I agree that these colors can be used on all skin tones, they are buildable. Yes! would love to see your whole collection!!!
I agree that they left out some shades from the original lineup that I would like to see come back. I have the old Sin and there’s nothing like it now. They used to do LE blush singles nearly every collection, maybe with the reformulation they’ll finally get back to that and it’ll expand the range. 🤞🏼
I’m happy to see there’s colour payoff with these blushes! Because the Sephora reviews say there’s zero pigment and that’s not a risk I am willing to take again. I bought a mac blush a couple years ago, biggest regret because $45 and zero colour payoff with that one
Yea these are definitely sheer but they build really well. There are a couple of shades (Sex Appeal comes to mind) that wouldn’t work on skin tones beyond medium. But overall I think the bad reviews are from folks who want and expect high pigment from a blush like it’s an eyeshadow.
They’re so good! NARS is doing 25% off right now and I’m tempted to get Exhibit A because I think the more buildable formula will make that color easier to wear. Glad you’re liking them, too!
Hi! I'm thinking about getting the shade sex appeal OR behave, and I want to ask you how light do you feel the color of sex appeal is. If it's too light, I'll get the behave, but there are not a lot of videos on UA-cam to allow me to judge... my skin is pretty light and cool tone btw.
Yes a shimmer blush for NC25 (which is about what I am) would be lovely! Do you have a preference for the color of blush? I have some of the deeper shimmers in this video, if those don’t look like what you’re after, Torrid is a beautiful shade. It’s a little less vibrant than Orgasm X. Happy to answer questions if you have any!
@@beautyandsomebeasts do u have a video on application . I’m new to blush and scared I’m doing it wrong . I really like orgasam more peachy . But I’m new to blush .
In my blush swatching videos I don’t worry so much about making them all look flattering on my face shape. I’m also a big fan of makeup for fun so sometimes I do wear my blush a little wild. If you have tips for where you think blush would look best on my face shape, I’m open to it.
This was super helpful and informative. Thank you!

Can you tell the difference between gina & forbidden?thx
you got all the best ones!!!!
Please do a total blush collection video!!❤😊
I’ll put it on my filming list! I have to decide if I want to break it up by category or brand or anything because it’ll be loooong.

Great vid thanks for demonstrating! Do you prefer the new or old formula?
I think I prefer the new formula for the mattes and old formula for the shimmer shades.
@@beautyandsomebeasts thanks ! Can I ask do you find them longer lasting than the original formula, or both last long?
I love the new NARS Blushes I got BEHAVE and S3x Appeal the 2 that looked different lol! Behave is my fav!🤍🤍🤍

Hi I'm new to your channel. I want to try a Nars blush, would you recommend a shimmer blush ? for skin tone of nc25

I don’t have a placement/application video but I can add that to my filming list.
@@beautyandsomebeasts can't wait :D ty
What is your undertone?
I would say neutral, leaning warm. I often find success with olive foundations if they are more of the desaturated green color.
U mde me buy armor
I hope you like it!
Luster was the best!!!
You are beautiful, but your blush application it's too high and it looks like you have a bruise
