Everything that does well there can be expected to appear on western shelves in a year or two...lip tints, BB and CC creams, sheet masks, cushion products, hyaluronic acids, squalene, purple blushes etc.

Good take on the trends. I will be sticking to my cream foundations and blushes as I am 62 with dry skin and fine lines starting around my upper lip and around my eyes. Powders are great for you you get crowd, I only use powder to set my concealer under my eyes because every brand of powders I have used for my entire face cause a lot of irritation and causes my foundation to dry and crack, which is fine with me because I love the light dewy look vs a set, matte finish all over my face. Matte shadows, brown mascara and liner will stick around for those who love the no make up makeup look. I for one am eagerly waiting for the comeback of matte base, as a dry skin girl, here in the deep of Canadian winter lol. It’s just. Matte is so functional. People always talk how dewy makeup doesn’t last in the summer, which is honestly fixable. But hear me out, do not wear lipgloss at negative twenty Celsius your lips will freeze. Anything not matte and completely set down is a hassle with all the winter gears I wear.
Honestly dewy makeup is practical only for pics. If it’s hot it won’t last as it’ll melt down and if it’s cold you wear scarf and a hair so it won’t last either. I love dewy and have bourgeois healthy mix for it , but I end up putting powder so it lasts when touched by my scarf 😂
I’m all about mini eye palettes, 3-5 shades, individual glossy (not really my thing) toppers, brown and coloured mascaras, truly natural skin product and yes, Matte lips
Great analysis of what you think is to come! I think we are slowly getting to a phase where people do makeup that best suits them rather than trend hopping
I used to eye roll about toners being genuinely helpful but I just got the Haru Haru (on your recommendation) and it is GLORIOUS. Thank you for the recommendation.
I have not used Foundation since I was a teen,I could never find a foundation to match my skin tone.Nowdays I only use concealer under my eyes and to hide blemishes.I really wish skincare and makeup would go back to just a few steps and not using heavy layers of skin care products and makeup.
I love my Merit serum primer, whatever that thing is called. Their cream bronzer and blush replaced all my powders. I’m 68 with dry aging sensitive skin. Not going back.
I feel the same about Tower 28. I love their tinted sunscreen, concealer, and cream blush. I am really loving their brown mascara and tinted lip balms. I’m 67. I doubt I’ll return to powder blush. I’m also fond of Danessa Myricks blush in the yummy balm formula. I’ve grown out my silver hair so I’m looking to evaluate my color palette.
Great video. There are couple of trends I’m excited about. I personally never really got into liquid and cream blushes, they’re either too bold for me, or I feel like my foundation is coming off with them. I tried them and immediately went back to powder blushes. I’ve also been a one shadow girl for a few years. I like the Laura Mercier sticks.
Amanda, I agree with you on every front. I think big makeup palettes overwhelmed the average consumer. I’m still a fan. I think people are facing so many challenges in their day to day life that they are looking for more uniform products that take the guess work out, but really deliver on the benefits in terms of protecting skin and being multi purpose. I feel like the last decade was the general public being introduced via social media to what is possible with makeup, the cut creases, big false lashes and contouring/highlighting to reach the gods. I think the next decade will be about pairing down what we’ve learned and being more discerning. Love your content. Big Hugs. I think you are going to have huge growth in your channel this year because I think you’ve been moving slightly ahead of the curve instinctually. You just know what you like and that gives others the strength to really decide what truly makes them happy with their choices. With much respect, Tanya
I got that haruharu barrier essence per your recommendation a month or so ago and it’s been a game changer for my nighttime skincare using tret. So much more moisturizing than any other essence or toner I’ve ever used. Plus the bottle feels so luxurious ❤
I just finished my bottle of Tirtir Ceramic Skin, it is amazing, no matter what foundation I was using, my skin dry skin had a 'glow from within' look, didn't even bother adding highlighter, its that beautiful.
I live somewhere very dry and never stopped using highlight to mimic glowy skin lol The L'Oreal Le Lumi line just added highlighters, they release in Canada like next week, so I feel like if it's trickled down to that level of duping it's definitely a trend. I just started doing one and done shadows and my faves are the kulfi zari eyes; they need more colors!
more options for muted glowy baked blushes, more satin matte concealer/foundation in 1, mini palettes w contrast, and green powder is going to be my time to shine!!! i do my makeup like this already plus the natural brows :) PS I gotta say i have the Judydoll green powder featured in the photos, and it’s the most blurring powder i’ve tried 😵💫 unreal stuff
I rarely use foundation these days. Most days, I skip concealer underneath the eyes, too. I simply use a brightening powder. I spot conceal a bit (not every little thing) with my Nars soft matte complete concealer because it’s fast. On days that I choose to use a concealer under the eyes, I will use my Dior Forever Skin correct concealer, sparingly. It also works great as a spot concealer on the face with a bit of powder.
Asian beauty is where it’s at. I love how subtle it looks, with the focus on skin. I would love SPF makeup with organic SPF instead of yucky, drying, destroys-my-skin zinc. Another reason to turn to Asian beauty, I suppose!
I've been using the Tower 28 concealer instead of foundation a lot lately! Underpainting with illuminator, blush, and bronzer. Absolutely loving it in this heat 👌 Would love to hear your thoughts on the MUFE cream palettes. I think they're really more for MUAs because there's no way I'd be able to use all those shades with my pale yellow skin tone. That eyeshadow is stunning. I finally got my hands on Serpens (we can't get it anymore in Australia) and I'm SO excited to wear it. I'm also really hoping you're right about one and done eyeshadows! I rarely wear more than one or two colours. Waiting for the day you release your own line of them hehe I have been loving the Cosnori Perfect Setting mascara in the rose brown shade. Beautiful colour and holds a curl on my straight lashes so well that I wear it as a base when I want to wear black mascara too! (I will buy the black version soon) I find all brown mascaras in Aus to be almost black, rather than a light chocolatey brown.
I agree with most of the things you’re predicting! I love the blurry lip look, the skincare in makeup & prep, milky toners, one & done shadows, and brown or colored mascara. I look forward to more things Asian beauty and skin care to be a focus. I’ve been using Asian beauty products for years! My 50+ year old skin loves it!
Yes! Natural brow! I have thinner shaped brows and just fill in the sparse areas and let the random hairs shine! I havent plucked in forever!!! Probably because I over plucked in the 90s. 😂
as someone who enjoys a good eye palette or single shadow, joocyee makes some really fantastic shadows and chioture have really nice and creamy shadows
I have always (for decades now) wanted easy multitasking skin-friendly easy-to-wear products and I continuously find it fascinating that either there's not enough market demand for that to be a primary focus or, in fact, brand choices aren't driven as much by market demand as all that. I'm very excited about the possibility of skin-supportive primers & setting sprays! And I expect a lot of my other choices will continue to be as out of step with the current trends as ever, but maybe I'll be lucky and this year the trends will actually line up to suit me. It's always nice when that happens! Actually-natural brows would be a lovely trend! I love a makeup goal which isn't all about CHANGING yourself to match some theoretical ideal. Harder to monetize, but much more functional and also more INTERESTING, imo! [Edited to be less grouchy (at the beauty industry) after a nap, sorry about that]
I know there are dewy primers with hyaluronic acid etc. but are you looking for products that are also healing? I feel like they do have some on the market, but maybe you're looking for something more specific 👀 I always thought glossier and clean beauty brands focused on skincare in their skin prep lines
Really excited to see what people end up loving. I just want metallic lipsticks rip. I know blackmoon cosmetics have some Last time i remember buying one was the metallic shock line by essence
I just bought two really colorful eyeshadow palettes and I don’t care what the trend will be this year, I just want colors ! I mean the no makeup makeup look is nice for everyday but it’s not fun anymore for me… I really miss the time we had all those incredible eye makeup tutorials on UA-cam…
I hope you are right about the single shadow trend. I mostly wear matte cream shadows but I like a hint of sparkle sometimes ( I’m 58) I don’t buy palettes unless it is absolutely perfection for me. I don’t use black shadow. I did buy the Bakeup neutral palette . So pretty!!! So travel friendly. I’m on board for the concealer palettes! I’m a big NO for powder blush. I’m in love with the cream and liquid blushes.
Would love to see a video this year about your brow make-up routine with up-close shots of how you apply different types of products (pencil, gel, etc). You can include ways to enhance your natural brow to start the trend!
The Pixie milky tonic has been around for a few years. Best milky toner i have tried so far I'm a little confused about lack of base foundations being in trend when the Tirtir and korean cushion foundations with full coverage are what's being pushed in my algorithm. I'll still take sheer coverage skin tints over full coverage nonetheless.
I don’t know if you’re still in this era, but I remember you used to really love skin care, particularly, for a bit. Could you do your best skincare round up for your skin type?
Thank you ❤ I think there are so many Asian beauty trends surfacing because so much makeup is manufactured in Asia. I also think we don’t have great sunscreen made in the West. I also love the lower costs associated with first rate skincare and beauty products.
If there are more Asian-inspired blushes coming out, I PRAY for good yellow and orange (yellow-leaning) blushes! Those are some of the most flattering on my skin. I currently use a yellow eyeshadow and it looks great, but I think that a yellow balmy blush (like one of merit's) would look so lovely, especially doing a gradient with red and/or orange. I would also love to see more cushion foundations come out now that brands like tirtir have become popular. I haven't worn a cushion foundation in a long time, but I remember them being more comfortable than liquid foundations. I wish Wet 'n' Wild still carried theirs. I loved that foundation until it expired :'( I know I could just buy asian cushion foundations online, but I prefer to swatch in store so I can shade match. I love colored mascara, too, especially brown or plum. Like someone else said, I'd love to see grey mascara as well! And like they said, more brands need to make grey brow products as well. Benefit is the only one I can think of off the top of my head. I dyed my hair silver once, and none of my brown brow products looked good with it.
I REALLY hope for the single eyeshadow thing being true. Whilst I love eyeshadow palettes with fashion colours, for everyday wear I find it really hard to find palettes I really like cos I usually never like half of the colours. Most natural palettes are super warm or muted which are both looks I don't really gravitate towards. I'd love more brands to release more single eyeshadows cos right now there are not many in stores.
At 67, I'm only using RMS blush and Hourglass Ambient blushes and powders- even with dry skin. Sometimes Merit blush balm. I loved Urban Decay powder blushes, but they disco them for who knows why. It was a great blush with great colors.
I love the tir tir ampoul serum very much.Since I have been using it ( about 5 weeks) my skin (72years) is a lot softer and evener. I use it in the evening and one does not need much, two drops only.I will definite buy it again. The price is quite reasonable too. Greetings from Germany ❤ Brigitte
Loving the idea of using concealer all over face only concealer I’ve been using is the quickie from urban decay-looks great under eyes but most days I just use color corrector. Love to see more lighter blush shades but something that is suited for all skin tones. A lot of Asian beauty mostly suited for very fair skin tones. I do miss all the single shadows-hoping to see more brands have quality shadows that’s not just glitter.
Why would you want to use concealer all over face? How is that easier than foundation. Also concealers have been around since day 1, so nothing is stopping you from using them instead
I love one and done looks. Single eye shadow looks for mature eyes. I am 57, and still use eye liner and shadow. I wear glasses and would like an easier way to put it on (liner and one cream shadow) without spending so much time tearing. (Maybe it's my eyesight). Can you do a video for clean makeup for the sight impaired? I have a hard time seeing far away. Also have hooded eyelids. How to make a winged eyelid with hooded eyes and a cream shadow?
I so agree with you on pinpoint concealer - been doing it since around 2021! I currently have a pencil concealer from the Saem and it’s a GAMECHANGER!! I use it for blemishes and its instantly dry, medium-high coverage and staying power are great for small little touch-ups. It also works better than any classic concealer I have tried to pile on an acne scar in the past; I do use a different, liquid concealer for the undereyes. It keeps them natural, yet brightened, and its serumy consistency doesn’t tug on my undereyes like a stiff pencil does. Sometimes more of the same product is good. Especially for different outcomes (covering blemishes vs brightening underyes). And my makeup looks better than ever before 🥰
But that’s all I have for concealers, these two - I am not promoting having too many of the same!! Just having different formulas if you find you need them!
9:36 even though you’re not supposed to keep them so long, but I promise everybody has a solid rotations of 3-4 palette with every baseline color they’d use, so these unique one off finishes are really all you need to buy without repeating the insane palette collection of the 2010s
Liner with gloss has never not been in for Black people. That’s something we’ve been doing. It’s just interesting to see it become a larger trend with everyone else. But I also don’t see a lot of acknowledgment of that.
I think trends are a good chance to try new makeup ideas and see if they work for you. If they don't, people will think you're just doing the trend 🤷♀️ I love eye makeup (not good at eyeliner tho 🥲), and even though I have rosacea and occasional acne, I do like minimal face makeup. I have super oily skin, and liquid products melt off in 4 hours. So I lightly color correct and apply a light layer of powder foundation. I personally like my brow shape, my brow hairs are just light. A tinted brow gel or just drawing lightly to my actual brows is all I do.
Lancome Teint Idole ultrawear all over. Launched a few years ago? Only thing I have used for years. Loves dry skin, loves the undereyes, barely detectable with very good cover. Mascara sized foundation in my carry-on on long haul transpacific journey for 6 weeks? life changing.
I've never worn liquid foundation. Could never get one to match. Never covered what I needed, too much coverage where its not needed. Usually just spot conceal and use a light layer of powder foundation to mesh the colors together.
RCMA Is the only concealer and foundation that I use, for the past 5 years. There is NOTHING else on the market even close. Formulary wise. That wax-cream.
I see Laura Geller, Bobby Brown, with her Jones bomb, whatever the hell she made having a good year this year too because they both make products like you mentioned that are on trend and they’ve been making their products like that for years but things recycle trends recycle. Everybody knows that.❤
I looooooove muted colors! I want it not just in blush, I want it in foundation, concealer, bronzer, eyeshadow, etc. I’m a light neutral olive and can pretty much only wear muted colors 😆
What shade did you get in the Lisa E concealer I got 2 it’s the only one that looked right… and I just ordered the KOSAS corrector! In the 2nd more peachy shade … super excited to try these!!! Hope they match me well 🤍🤍🤍
Thank you for acknowledging my comment, Amanda! I don’t know if you can do this because you don’t have blonde brows, but if you could do a tutorial on how to enhance blonde/invisible brows, that would be great. I have asked and asked. I have seen only one or two people do a tutorial like this ever. Lisa Eldridge did a wonderful one fairly recently, so that was super helpful. I am just going to ask everyone to do this until they stop making those of us with invisible brows feel inadequate.😂 Content creators and makeup artists, please teach those of us with blonde or sparse brows how to make them look nice without making us feel like we must draw them on and make them darker than what looks natural on us! 😮😢
Really enjoyable video thanks! I used my Kosas concealer instead of foundation for most of last year and loved the more natural look (I mainly put it on the centre of the face then just blended it out) but at a certain point I thought: maybe I just need to find a foundation that has this finish and apply it in the same places (I've got the Kosas foundation but I find the texture a bit thick and the shade is not quite as good a match). Am thinking of trying the Glossier stretch foundation instead🤔 Re blush, Saie chilly was hands down my favourite makeup purchase of last year with that beautiful dewy finish (really excellent shade for fair, cool skin tones too). Having used it so much though I understand the swing towards something a bit more matte. Your other videos have tempted me to have a look at the Gucci powder cheek products. I do think some of the movements towards and away from textures depend on the seasons though and matte appeals more in the winter and glowy products in the summer. It's nice to mix it up anyway! 😊
Also, I thought about it’s not so much people are gonna be relying on SPF setting spray for their sun protection. I think it’s more going towards the layering the sun protection type of thing because of the suns Ray is being stronger and stuff like that so I think the purpose behind that is so it encourages people to layer their sun protection so then the morning they put on their SPF moisturizer then maybe they would have an SPF Blush or powder all over their face then they would set their Makeup with an SPF setting spray so you see that there’s multiple layers of sun protection and then you can also freshen your sun protection throughout the day a little bit easier because you have to reapply sun protection every two hours for it to be effective at all so having the products that do multiple thingsagain is the trend in all areas of the beauty
I already do everything on this list but trend guess 1, 2 and 4 but I'm very much a "once I like something I don't change it for a decade", and I already adjusted my makeup application for my 30s and skin requirements so I won't be changing any time soon 😅At least I'll be on trend maybe?

People always talk how dewy makeup doesn’t last in the summer, which is honestly fixable. But hear me out, do not wear lipgloss at negative twenty Celsius your lips will freeze. Anything not matte and completely set down is a hassle with all the winter gears I wear.
Honestly dewy makeup is practical only for pics. If it’s hot it won’t last as it’ll melt down and if it’s cold you wear scarf and a hair so it won’t last either. I love dewy and have bourgeois healthy mix for it , but I end up putting powder so it lasts when touched by my scarf 😂
I agree with the point about concealer. The under eye area has different needs than the rest of the face. I always use two very different concealers.
Same
I’m all about mini eye palettes, 3-5 shades, individual glossy (not really my thing) toppers, brown and coloured mascaras, truly natural skin product and yes, Matte lips
Great analysis of what you think is to come! I think we are slowly getting to a phase where people do makeup that best suits them rather than trend hopping
I’m most excited to see drugstore options for skincare-makeup. Half my routine is just managing my dry skin
I used to eye roll about toners being genuinely helpful but I just got the Haru Haru (on your recommendation) and it is GLORIOUS. Thank you for the recommendation.
Seconded. That and the gf (growth factor) 15 percent are the products that rocked my world in the past year or so.
The combo of lighting and your skin look amazing in this video!
I have not used Foundation since I was a teen,I could never find a foundation to match my skin tone.Nowdays I only use concealer under my eyes and to hide blemishes.I really wish skincare and makeup would go back to just a few steps and not using heavy layers of skin care products and makeup.
I think you just inspired me to get my hair coloured like yours. Before this video i was thinking of black but now I'm changing gears!
3:47 o0oo. Yes, I really want that RCMA palette! And want to try the Kosas concealer you like! ❤
I think to continue your idea on blush and highlighter trends, I think baked bronzers and bronzers that have a satin finish could become big
Oooh….this is interesting
I love my Merit serum primer, whatever that thing is called. Their cream bronzer and blush replaced all my powders. I’m 68 with dry aging sensitive skin. Not going back.
I’m 58 and Merit is my go to makeup now. I use almost all the products on a daily basis. I don’t need anything else.
They have great makeup for dry skin!!
You just keep getting prettier 💗
Great video. There are couple of trends I’m excited about. I personally never really got into liquid and cream blushes, they’re either too bold for me, or I feel like my foundation is coming off with them. I tried them and immediately went back to powder blushes. I’ve also been a one shadow girl for a few years. I like the Laura Mercier sticks.
Merit blushes: extremely natural, dewy & buildable. Trust me!
Same. I have very dry skin and am loving the HaruHaru Wonder Essence! Also bought it on Amanda’s rec. It is also so gentle and unscented! ❤
RMS and Essence baked blushes made me excited about powder again. They are so easy to blend and make skin look so ethereal and diffused.
I just finished my bottle of Tirtir Ceramic Skin, it is amazing, no matter what foundation I was using, my skin dry skin had a 'glow from within' look, didn't even bother adding highlighter, its that beautiful.
This background thooo 😍 Definitely brightened you up
I live somewhere very dry and never stopped using highlight to mimic glowy skin lol The L'Oreal Le Lumi line just added highlighters, they release in Canada like next week, so I feel like if it's trickled down to that level of duping it's definitely a trend. I just started doing one and done shadows and my faves are the kulfi zari eyes; they need more colors!
more options for muted glowy baked blushes, more satin matte concealer/foundation in 1, mini palettes w contrast, and green powder is going to be my time to shine!!! i do my makeup like this already plus the natural brows :)
PS I gotta say i have the Judydoll green powder featured in the photos, and it’s the most blurring powder i’ve tried 😵💫 unreal stuff
I have it and can confirm ….😏
I rarely use foundation these days. Most days, I skip concealer underneath the eyes, too. I simply use a brightening powder. I spot conceal a bit (not every little thing) with my Nars soft matte complete concealer because it’s fast. On days that I choose to use a concealer under the eyes, I will use my Dior Forever Skin correct concealer, sparingly. It also works great as a spot concealer on the face with a bit of powder.
That eyeshadow looks soo good, it’s smth I would love to wear!!
Red blush 24 / 7 / 365 / red blush forever ! It never goes away.
I love the haru haru essence. Thanks for the recommendation.
I got 1oz to sample and it’s amazing. Replacing my ilia one with haruharu.
*me watching this video knowing damn well that I’m doing project pan since 2016 and I’m on a no buy: “omg really?! That’s so exciting!!😂🥳”
Asian beauty is where it’s at. I love how subtle it looks, with the focus on skin. I would love SPF makeup with organic SPF instead of yucky, drying, destroys-my-skin zinc. Another reason to turn to Asian beauty, I suppose!
Subscribed because you don’t use skin filters on your video.
I've been using the Tower 28 concealer instead of foundation a lot lately! Underpainting with illuminator, blush, and bronzer. Absolutely loving it in this heat 👌
Would love to hear your thoughts on the MUFE cream palettes.
Waiting for the day you release your own line of them hehe
I have been loving the Cosnori Perfect Setting mascara in the rose brown shade.
This is how we did it in the early 90s. One and done eyeshadow and a good lipstick and that was it! I LOVE THIS! Natural is coming back-yay!
I just hit pan on my rcma palette. It is wonderful for creating unique undertone and shade concealers.
I can’t stop using it!!
I need you to choose my makeup for me. You always have the best suggestions.
I love that tirtir ceramic ampule I’m on my second bottle, I love k beauty skincare!!
Cannot wait for powder blush to come back... I dont like cream ones and ive had hardly any powder ones to choose from!
The Milani stick highlighter, sold at Ulta, has been compared to the Chanel highlighter stick. I think it is a beautiful subtle highlighter.
is it a balmier formula or does it feel like a pigment heavy- pearl highlight to you?
Ive heard there is a K beauty dupe for it too!
@@AmandaZ it’s not heavy on the pearl, it’s extremely soft and delicate. I’m surprised more people don’t talk about the Milani stick highlighter.
I am gonna have to try chioture!!
I was watching this while doing my makeup and you were spot on!
I love this Amanda
I really love Ciele especially their blushes 😍😍💕
Really excited to see what people end up loving.
I just want metallic lipsticks rip. I know blackmoon cosmetics have some
Last time i remember buying one was the metallic shock line by essence
Concealer as foundation I feel like is already a big trend for a few years now
Would love to see a video this year about your brow make-up routine with up-close shots of how you apply different types of products (pencil, gel, etc). You can include ways to enhance your natural brow to start the trend!
The Pixie milky tonic has been around for a few years. Best milky toner i have tried so far
I'm a little confused about lack of base foundations being in trend when the Tirtir and korean cushion foundations with full coverage are what's being pushed in my algorithm.
Also, the most exciting innovations recently have come from Asia.
Got my LE concealer pen yesterday, it is sooo good.
omg I cannot WAIT to get mine im sitting at my door like 😳
If there are more Asian-inspired blushes coming out, I PRAY for good yellow and orange (yellow-leaning) blushes!
I have two of the Essence pure nude baked blushes! They're very pigmented and blend out beautifully!
Hope your blush prediction comes true!! I would LOVE that!
And the lip prediction! Would love more blurred lip options!
@@trishhykes5574 yes!!
I feel like the industry is getting more and more scattered with less and less unifying trends
Merit blush balms are my favourite blush
I love the tir tir ampoul serum very much.Since I have been using it ( about 5 weeks) my skin (72years) is a lot softer and evener. I use it in the evening and one does not need much, two drops only.I will definite buy it again. The price is quite reasonable too.
Greetings from Germany ❤
Brigitte
Loving the idea of using concealer all over face only concealer I’ve been using is the quickie from urban decay-looks great under eyes but most days I just use color corrector. Love to see more lighter blush shades but something that is suited for all skin tones. A lot of Asian beauty mostly suited for very fair skin tones. I do miss all the single shadows-hoping to see more brands have quality shadows that’s not just glitter.
Why would you want to use concealer all over face? How is that easier than foundation. Also concealers have been around since day 1, so nothing is stopping you from using them instead
Amanda! We need a milky toner video!!
you're right....
My dream prep product would be a mineral spf + primer for combination/ oily skin.
Looking insanely good.
Totally agree.
I’m your age and blind as a bat - gals like us need a really good magnifying mirror to do our eyes
I just bought that one!! I’m so glad you commented I’m excited to get it S:)
9:36 even though you’re not supposed to keep them so long, but I promise everybody has a solid rotations of 3-4 palette with every baseline color they’d use, so these unique one off finishes are really all you need to buy without repeating the insane palette collection of the 2010s
Fabulous information and awesome video 🎉❤🎉❤🎉 Thank you for sharing your knowledge, I appreciate it immensely 🙏🕊️💯❣️🙂
Liner with gloss has never not been in for Black people. That’s something we’ve been doing. It’s just interesting to see it become a larger trend with everyone else. But I also don’t see a lot of acknowledgment of that.
My current favorite SPF makeup: Supergoop lipstick, Cay lip gloss, Elf lip gloss. I loved the Fresh lip balms, but they don’t have SPF anymore.
Natural brows back. Yes! 😃
I think trends are a good chance to try new makeup ideas and see if they work for you. If they don't, people will think you're just doing the trend 🤷♀️
I love eye makeup (not good at eyeliner tho 🥲), and even though I have rosacea and occasional acne, I do like minimal face makeup. I have super oily skin, and liquid products melt off in 4 hours. So I lightly color correct and apply a light layer of powder foundation. I personally like my brow shape, my brow hairs are just light. A tinted brow gel or just drawing lightly to my actual brows is all I do.
You should try Bruna Tavares’ BT Velvet for single eyeshadow looks. Mind blowing good.
The color pop watermelon dew stick, is that glossy highlit within no make up make up highlight that I will never use anything else.
You’re right! I’m reaching for small UDNaked Basics 2 & my 2 Natasha D minis.
best highlighter for me is the physicians formula glow powder in translucent
Hope they match me well 🤍🤍🤍
What eye shadow are you wearing in this video? Love love love! 😘 Thanks!
Novo! I linked it in description:)
@ Thank you!
Yes, please, let those of us who don’t have brows be! I adore your idea of embracing one’s natural brows!
I agree; I absolutely love red blush!!
Am thinking of trying the Glossier stretch foundation instead🤔
Re blush, Saie chilly was hands down my favourite makeup purchase of last year with that beautiful dewy finish (really excellent shade for fair, cool skin tones too). 😊
I would love a spf type of setting spray, reapplying spf is a CHORE
This is a genius idea! It feels much more intuitive to have the spf as the final step AFTER makeup! 😎👍
foundation has spf
Do we need spf? Two sides to that opinion…. 🤷♀️. Gets confusing
I hope tower 28 make a balm highlight in the bronzino formula. I have been using the lightest shade as highlight and it looks amazing.
I already do everything on this list but trend guess 1, 2 and 4 but I'm very much a "once I like something I don't change it for a decade", and I already adjusted my makeup application for my 30s and skin requirements so I won't be changing any time soon 😅At least I'll be on trend maybe?
