I live in old town I deep breathe in the air when I walk at sunset it is therapy for my lungs.
We are building Candelas innovation park.
The air is. Great there, great idea for the future of Arvada.

My wife and I have been spending more time in Colorado lately, summer trips and snowboarding in the winter. We are thinking about making the move from Chicago and Arvada keeps coming up when we talk to locals. Your video was very informative, thanks for putting that together.

I lived in Arvada in the Lake Arbor neighborhood for 2 years. There are a ton of great coffee shops and restaurants there (Hunter Bay, La Dolce Vita, Sweet Bloom to name a few).

I live out here in Ralston Valley. Wonderful area, very little in the way of crime and not many aggressive drivers or people out here. Fantastic walking/biking paths, beautiful scenery, just a few miles east of the foothills, and a few miles south of open country for a good eight to ten miles. Sure, the freeway area is quite crowded with homeless people and the traffic lights on 64th St are incredibly frustrating, especially at night, but I genuinely love it here.

@@destinationdenvercolorado it’s unfortunate that the prices went up. The prices never used to be this high people started moving here and it’s really pricey to live here. I have to live with my mom because of it.

Cost of living has definitely been a growing issue. Denver has a lot of people moving here and pushing costs higher.

Arvada is contaminated by plutonium from Rocky Flats since 1952. (and Denver as well, also Broomfield where my dad lived and died at 73 from myleodisplastic syndrome) Soil tests at 600 picocuries from plutonium that was used there to make nuclear device triggers. (Nevada nuclear test site tests at 240 picocuries) Also ground water is polluted from the plant. Plutonium is airborne when windy out and breathing it will cause illness. Half life of plutonium is 24,000 years. It had been a government secret until the 1980s.
