Don't Move to Aurora Colorado Before You Watch This!
My car has been stolen TWICE now since i bought it. Police have the guy on camera at the gas station, think they would investigate it? Not a chance. Homeless overrunning everything, using the sidewalks as their personal bathroom and using drugs openly- such a great place! Twenty years ago denver was GREAT! Not the case anymore.
More proof that college degrees are for Low IQs They have the most Dbl Degreed in the Nation and they cant get ANYTHING right
God 🛫 rescued me in June 2023 after my 15th lease expired i packed a abf ubox and bid farewell to my loving home . BOY 🙋🏾♂️ BYE. They were just use to me spending look now my rentithe is due.
Builders are offering major incentives..
BREAKING NEWS CALIFORNIAN'S ARE MOVING TO DENVER COLORADO NOW GOING VIRALLY BECAUSE OF THE FIRES LOWER TAXES NEVER HAVE TO REBUILD ALL OVER AGAIN 🔥 ❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉
Bullsh!t
With each successive mayor going back to HIck, who pledged 10's of millions of dollars to solve homelessness, have only made the situation worse. Yet Denverites keep voting for the same insanity.
Did you mention that some of us don't like it for it's politics? It's now ran by commies.
Lol Rino is 5points now? The air pollution is bad now? Has this guy been to Denver?
Born and raised, and thanks for watching and commenting - you’re helping my algorithm! Feel free to point to one person that ever called that part of town RiNo until more recent times - that’s the point I was making. Locals call it 5 Points.
We just moved to NoCo
I’m a huge fan, what part are you in?
Whatever California’s governor tries and gets away with Colorado governor Polis will emulate. He’s another California transplant that has brought his Californicate attitudes and voting policies here to turn us into California East. We have the absolute worst roads in the entire west! Drive through Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Nevada, Arizona or New Mexico and the difference is undeniable. Even a blind person is able to tell you when you have crossed into the Colorado state line, the holes in the roads and bouncing up and down are horrendous. Governor Polis blames the “freezing and thawing effect of weather “ on our pathetic roadways but isn’t it curious that all of the aforementioned surrounding states all experience the identical weather patterns yet their highways are as smooth as glass? He spends our tax dollars on “free” daycare services and housing and feeding illegal immigrants all the while searching for the next news camera to step in front of. He has political aspirations far greater than just being a governor .
Uh, don’t forget letting Males into Females’ restrooms, locker rooms and sports. Your reign of your fantasy agenda is over, time to wake up and clean up your toys.
Denver is waay overpriced. The gov has destroyed the housing market
Yall trying to come up to the mountains now...fkn citiodts need to stay in denver and in the springs. Yall can't drive even drive on I25. Yall ain't ready for these dirt roads. 😂
No blacks.
The best suburb of Denver, is the one that is the furthest away. I was born in Lakewood and bounced around to Aurora, Thorton, Broomfield. Now I live like an hour from Denver. The further away I move, the happier I am. I love Colorado, I hate Denver.
I talk to a lot of people who share the sentiment - they may enjoy visiting the city for specific events or occasions but otherwise they like to stay as far away as they can.
Hey there! CO native of 50 years, born and raised. Lived in Littleton (before it was Centennial), Littleton, Greeley, Estes Park, Aurora, Lakewood, and currently Highlands Ranch for the last 10 years. What are your thoughts on HR? We really love it and moved there for the schools and open space, etc.
HR has grown on me through the years! I was born and raised in Lakewood and during my teen years in the 90’s, they were just ramping up that community and it was the suburbs of all suburbs. I could have easily included on this list - might even be #1 for a lot of people!
Thank god get out of Colorado
I grew up in Broomfield!! Lived there for 60 years!!
I really like Broomfield! When I started making these videos a couple years ago, I spent more time up there than I ever had and there’s so much to like about that area and the different neighborhoods! I appreciate you watching!
Good job making informative and enjoyable content. After I get some money saved up I'm flying over for a visit.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that, I always hope they are helpful, and thank you for watching!
Bad political decisions!! Sanctuary city bad idea!! Denver is too liberal!! The mayor and governor suck!!
There's too much traffic in all those places. Colorado Springs is the best suburb.
I'd have to agree. Also, it leans red instead of hardcore liberal. I'm not saying one is better than the other, but the more moderate a place is, usually it makes it less polarizing.
I appreciate your perspective. Being the second largest city in Colorado and more than an hour from Denver, I don’t think labeling Colorado Springs a suburb would be accurate.
Lots of crime in Co. Springs!
@@destinationdenvercolorado It's not part of Denver, I know. But it feels like a suburb, while all those places like Littleton etc feel like part of a city. I agree with the comment below that the Springs has a lot of crime, and the police here are unprofessional and incompetent. I'm a lawyer and have lots of experience with that. Denver seems worse, though, and my realtor says it has gotten worse in the last couple of years. Still, Denver is a great city to live in, especially if you are coming from somewhere like New Jersey or LA.
Central Park I wouldn't go near if I had a family. I would choose Castle Rock, Parker, Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Brighton, and quite a few others. The access to I-70, parks, and central planning is nice, but there's residual nonsense from surrounding areas. Plus, it's feels politically liberal and I dislike the feeling of being boxed in by places I don't like.
Definitely some good options on your list - it was pretty tough narrowing down the list. Castle Rock is a great area.
I moved to Parker, CO from Louisiana. It’s perfect for us.
I am a huge fan of that area, and so happy to hear it’s worked out well for your family!
Tarrifs made steel cheaper very quickly during the first Trump term.
We moved to the Denver metro in 1995 and loved it. We left the state for all the reasons you mentioned in this video.
I work in the HVAC trade and Denver is unsafe to work . Our work vans get broken into daily and the scary stories of getting robbed at gun point in traffic and a 2 hour response time or not at all from police or fire was the breaking point for me. The company would add huge fees to job bids hoping not to win them because the loss downtown was so bad. I moved west where everyone Carries a gun and everyone is respectful
It is the same for Greeley, Co! Colorado used to be a moderate state, not blue, not red. Now, it is just a commiefornia dump site!
Totally agree with this. We live in Denver and we're looking to move somewhere else in Colorado. Our last mayor (Hancock - 2011 to 2023) left Denver unrecognizable. My beautiful city is just a sweet memory now.
We're moving back. Texas especially South Texas is bad. We probably buy a house in Bennet. 5 long years was enough of Texas. I don't recommend
Denver is absolute garbage.
Just quit my job and moving out of state in March after a decade in Denver. This place is miserable.
Denver is quickly becoming a shit hole and is dragging the whole state along.
Pandemic got nothing to do with it. The powers that be decided CO was next CA and knowingly destroyed it. Overnight we were the weed amusement park of the country and that move was diabolically genius to permanently F the state. Flip also lol. That migration here from the coasts from 2012 on has destroyed CO. Use to be a good mix of left and right reasonable peeps. Now it’s just over and full 🤡 world. At this rate, the megalopolis will be the springs all the way to WY. Oh the speakers on hikes, it’s 5 out of last 10. Used to fly fish, use to hike, use to MTB, use to ski, now just stay home and wait for second to finish HS so I can cash out. Seee ya. So sad. That said if you are from SF, LA, Chicago, Philly, you will love it here so come pay me 4x on my amazing home cause thinking Little Cayman is the way😎
If I was to earn a penny every time I watch one of these guys mention "House Market Crash..." I'd be able to buy a house
Do you need a professional UA-cam thumbnail designer and video SEO expert?
The only thing appreciation does is increase property taxes and insurance.
"sanctuary cities" are agenda 2030 all of them put into play by mayors executive orders in the 1980s.... all of them have been up for vote to over turn.... and every time the people vote to over turn it the corrupt government says no WE DO NOT LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE WE LIVE UNDERNEATH THE CROWN STILL
the DEMONrat party destroyed this country and DENVER is a prefect example of how and why it doesnt work in a civilized country
Crime infested, illegal migrant infested, liberal jerk off infested, a stupid mayor and a legions of perverts running the show in Colorado politics. Taxes on top of taxes. Liberals moving into the state. We are screwed.
The truly sad thing is that this type of overpopulation insanity is happening everywhere. Bozeman, MT, (all of Montana..Seattle, WA, Hawaii, Texas, FL, Carolina’s, Dakotas, Vermont, Arizona…on and on… it’s just the way it is. Too many people causing too many problems. I moved from Long Island, NY… a true cess pool of horror there/ once a farming community… I got the heck out in the 90’s. Shed my NY skin and loved the hiking, the scenery, loved my new Birkenstocks, I just wanted to fit in, and all of a sudden the masses came in like locusts- changed everything, made everything all fancy, expensive, rents/home prices sky rocketed, traffic became insane and horrible, people were beyond horrifying- rude, entitled, wanted everything immediately, just disgusting. Sadly I had to move and years later the city was destroyed: homelessness, crime, skyrocketing prices for everything, so sad - literally everything you said about Denver is happening/has happened all over the country- the truth is that this country is rotting from the inside out. No where else to move to get away - we’ve just become locusts that decimate an area and then move on. Soon there won’t be anything left.
I've lived in Colorado on and off since 1992. But I will never qualify as a native. I moved to the state because I love the mountains. Some natives I know have never even been to Estes Park. I feel like I'm the one who belongs here.
i left Denver (Brighton) in the early 70s, best thing I ever did
All the californians that moved out of california because their shitty politicians ruined it. Came to Denver and brought their shitty politics with them .
Thank you!!
10:25 adding more lanes is never the answer. We need to change the way we think about infrastructure and how we move around our city.
Except real numbers don't agree, the population is NOT decreasing it is INCREASING, even now. Gee, a loan officer making up news about the real estate market? What possible motivation could you have for making this video, I wonder, I wonder. 🤣
Tell you didn’t want the video without telling me you didn’t watch the video. The premise is that there are current residence seeking to move away from the city or further into the suburbs, while folks from other states move here. Point me to one made up real estate fact? Also - as someone who makes a living from people moving here - how does a video about them moving away help me, oh wise one?😂
The illegals are what made me leave sucks too Lakewood was a nice place in 2010.
Northern Colorado really really sucks for Collins Loveland Longmont Greeley they are horrible horrible cities the crime is out of control the homeless is extremely out of control it's not a very friendlreplace I would not suggest Northern Colorado to anyone He wants to remain safe and either raise a family Or just continue on with a normal life there is no such thing as normal life in northern Colorado from Longmont Loveland for Collins Greeley it just does not exist
🏴☠️HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU 🏴☠️
