Notice how Clavell’s team mostly consists of mons from older gens with his starter being the only native mon, really putting an emphasis to how much of a boomer he is.
Nah, I feel it's more like a team an experienced old man would have, Oranguru represents his position as the director Abomasnow represents his looks Sinistea represents him being a gentleman Amoonguss/Houndoom may represent his love for pokemon Gyarados represents his terror side, being a stickler to the rules And last the Starter that got never picked represents his willing to teach the youth Clavell is just a genuinely cool guy who loves his school and its students.
That's my main criticism with modern pokémon games (specially these ones). It feels like everyone always has a team consisting of pokémon from past gens and a native mon as their ace. I really wish they did things like they did in gen 5, where you're only able to catch and use native pokémon and mons from past gens are available only after you beat the game.

But even so, some types were barely there - there were only 3 fully evolved Dragon Pokemon available (other than legends), and one of them had a ridiculously high level requirements of 50 and 64 to evolve. Actually, many Unova Pokemon have ridiculously high level requirements for evolution. Also there were just 3 Ice Pokemon lines and 4 Ghost Pokemon lines - many of them being hard to casually find in the wild. Plus... since when variety is a bad thing? At least, for the most part, aces of major characters are unique and usually not used by other major characters, other than the player (but they get the pass because they can't be limited in choice because some NPC has the Pokemon as the ace)

Before the games were out, I thought Clavell would be the main villain but turns out he's not. This reminds me of One Piece Film Red, where lot of fans thought Gordon's the bad guy due to his appearance but turns out he's not. It'll be nice to know if Clavell's Polteageist is an Antique Form.

Clavell is great at punishing people who break the rules Team star becomes a part of the Pokémon league Penny gets picked up as an ethical hacker 2 champions, a chef and said hacker save the region. Clavell Gives all four master balls as reward for saving region and a stern talking to for going into a restricted area Wow everyone in this school is chaotic good all of a sudden.
My ranking of the 3 paths 1:Path of Legends. All about helping a dog get better and the reason it’s my favourite,titans are super cool and let’s us get great tusk/iron treads early 2:star fall street. Nice and exciting,would be first 3:victory road. Same boring become champion stuff
For real, when I first saw Team Star I though "Oh no, another uninteresting team like Team Yell" I ended up absolutely loving them, most sympathetic team out there

It is. I picked fuecoco and faced quaquaval, and if you pick quaxly you'll get meowscarada expected because he watched you and nemona picking the other 2 pokemon and the last one stays with him
He chose Quaxly because Clavell had Meowscarada. He probably traded the other two (or eggs containing them) to the save file because that's the only way to get them.
It´s a real shame because from the content, the stories and the overall plot writing this game does not seem so bad and when looking at the plot alone a huge step up from the disaster that was sword and shield and the music is really nice but man is it a technical fiasco
