@@Peep_chief2 I'm not a fan of the merch thing. It always seems tacky to me. I don't expect to many people to care about a random tutorial UA-camr. Super thanks make more sense to me but I guess it doesn't work everywhere.

Note for people doing this, your original Miraidon/Koraidon cannot be moved from your party into the boxes, and therefore it's likely that pokemon will never be able to leave the game and be transferred to home. If you trade away the extra you get in Area Zero, you probably won't be able to get your box art Legendary into home when it becomes compatible with SV.

What i did cause apparently people dont trade back needed Miraidon for dex who is genderless same with Koraidon... but that guy or girl didnt trade back my Koraidon i was like fine okay you can keep IT now i have a foreign language Koraidon so its whatever really i like my Koraidon even though Miraidon was tempting to keep lol i like the riding form of Koraidon a lot

Box art legendary?
I used Ceruledge against the Koraidon and he literally couldn’t touch me. Giga Impact and Collision Course don’t affect the Ghost-Typing and Flamethrower won’t work if it has Flash Fire as an ability. The only thing he could do was Bulk Up

This is stupid. The box Legendary you get at the start of the game can't be placed at the box so you will never be able to transfer it to Home. The second Miraidon/Koraidon you get at Area Zero can be placed in the boxes so you can transfer it to Home and between Scarlet or Violet.

@@KirbyEnjoyer-d3o it would be a waste in my opinion, better to use it on a rare shiny or something. The box legendary is fairly easy to catch if you have pokemon over level 60 and a lot of pokeballs.
I’m seeing a lot of players use the master ball on these legendary’s but for me the weirdest thing I caught it in a poke ball on the first try Are these things supposed to have a really hard catch rates

Me and my brother always get different versions so that we can play on eachovers switches to get the other Pokémon and help eachover out with the Pokédex

Yeah, so this doesn’t do exactly what you say it does. It allows you to fill your Pokédex, but it doesn’t allow you to have both to put into your National dex, as you cannot put the primary “raidon” into Pokémon Home. In short, when you trade your “raidon” you lose your Pokémon forever and now have to play the game again to get it so you can have a full National Dex.
Yea but once you get home you can move pokemon to it and then start a new game again and have both.
I’m pretty sure it took so long for you to get this because the amount of people that got scarlet is far less than the people that got violet, so I think it would be easier to do this in scarlet (also thank you because now I know I won’t have to buy another switch with Pokémon violet just to get the violet exclusives and Trade evolutions)

Most people I know got the scarlet version because here it was like 4€ cheaper than violet on amazon on pre release lol Me included, I got scarlet because of that 🤭
Nope, not way more out of 100% of sales Violet did %52, Scarlet 42% and double pack did 6%, that’s in hard copies only. Download sales seem to favor Scarlet more so it seems to be pretty even actually.
When Home comes out for gen 9 I think you can transfer version exclusives that way if you have both games.

When I have Pokémon Violet and try to trade my 2nd Miraidon and try to do the code, everyone trades Miraidon and I had to use Pokemon HOME to get a Koraidon :(
For this reason I miss the GTS. There were a lot of things about the GTS I don’t miss, but the GTS let us put our Pokémon up for trade in exchange for a Pokémon that we wanted. Bless the community for trying to use these codes as best it can, but bringing back something like the GTS would be really nice for trading in future games.
There's still the GTS in Pokemon Home, but it's... not great.
@@benstevens44 Besides being in a different app, many of Home GTS issues were in previous games too
I was hoping this would be different... I want to have a living dex in Violet but I can't really do that if I trade the only Miraidon that can be boxed.

Does the first miraidon/koraidon only accessible via pause menu and only the second miraidon/koraidon that can be access in box?
You can’t trade away your mount legendary if that wasn’t obvious, you can only trade the second one you get

yeah it appears you don't actually own the first one, it's just a companion
You CAN still battle with your companion, but it can’t be boxed and has to switch to its battle mode if you want to battle with it. The moment you use the bike again it leaves your party. It’s annoying but possible.

I don't recommend doing this. Your ride pokemon isn't boxable but the extra from area zero is. You can't put your ride pokemon in Pokemon home, only the extra one.
Yeah but this does complete the dex so I can start hunting shinies. Plus I can always do another playthrough and dump that extra box legendary into Pokemon home once it's available.

So which miraidon is better the first one you get or the second or are they identical stats wise
the second one is a lot less annoying to use since every time you want to use your ride pokemon it leaves battle mode so its not in your party anymore
The second one has better stats as its nature increases it's sp atk which most of its skills are

Note that there are scam artists out there who will trade you junk pokemon for your Miraidon/Koraidon by gambling that you will rush and click trade before you realize what you’ve done. That’s how I lost my 2nd Miraidon and Master Ball.

I have friends but all of them refused to give me their Koraidon and I can't blame them
All my Pokémon died while encountering the second miraidon, and it fled somewhere. Is there no way to encounter it again? Or did I just mess up big time?
I think you have to just wait up to 10 minutes to an hour, then restart the game, and it'll respawn again at the same place.

Not gonna lie I got Scarlet but I still have trouble finding trades for exclusives 😂 I don’t got any of the Iron ones yet 😂
after getting some Monsters of Area Zero, it is much easier to trade for other exclusives.
It seems like a risky move. I have a feeling the reason they are giving you a extra legendary is so you can transfer it to Pokémon Home down the road. I highly doubt you’ll be able to transfer your ride Pokémon out of the game.
yea you can’t since you can’t put one in a box
it is hard just to find one in first place
If you only have one of the versions, then if you trade the extra you can pop the one you get into Home when that updates and then start a new game to get the one that matches your version again.
If this is your only means of getting the other box legendary, gotta do it at some point to get that one into Home.

It must have been Opposite Day when you recorded this, because trading implies you had a friend with their own game. Tips & tricks for trading would have been a better video choice and title, because the Link Code trick is the only information worth learning.
So I have a miradon I catch but how do I get the second one? It's one I catch and the mount one? Do I unmount to use and trade the one I catch?

I'm the maniac who played through both games twice, just to trade a second legendary to my brother who then traded them back to my main profile. All so I could trade that second one for the opposite with people (I didn't get the games at the same time). So I had my ride pokemon and one in my party with the other legendary.
I don't know why I do this to myself.
if you have both games + pokemon home then basically compleat both games and if you want to after the 8th gym transfer high level pokemon over to beat the elite 4 easily to get the great crater
Which means, ill loose my Miraidon tho. So its a one for one and i still dont get both the legendaries. Ill only have 1 in the end
Not recomended since your first Moraidon is locked to being permanently on Violet and you just lost the opportunity to transfer your real only Moraidon to future games.

Yes because internet access is required for trading.
Only to trade with randoms. You don't need it if you are to trade local, as in with a friend on the same wifi network
