Not only are you a talented photographer, but another reason why I love your videos, is the same reason I love photography. It helps me just focus on what's in front of me in the here and now instead of being in my head, dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. It's like free therapy! Hope you are well, Michael :)
Thank you so much, Ole, I really appreciate that and your support!
I've viewed most of your episodes. All of your shots are wonderful, but the ones here, I would call first place. Your love of nature shines through all your work, and is a pleasure to see.
wow, I knew this was going to be good, but man it takes me right back to the feelings we had while being battered by that glorious wind .. Loved the shots too Pal...
Thanks so much man, such a fun adventure! :)
Fantastic location and images. Many people don't realize what photographers will go through to get an image, and this video shows how much effort can be required.
That brought back great memories. Awesome photos as usual Michael and loved the video!
Beautiful location, beautiful composition = beautiful photos. Great stuff Michael!
Foreground heaven, these are epic seascapes
Oooh La La! What a wild shoot!! My choice - put sunrise in one room and sunset in another - HA! Both are wonderful for different reasons!
Love the sunrise softer colors
The photo at 14.56 is wonderful.
All this different variation of one spot is so inspiring
Dunmore head is great fun. I don't remember one calm day there 😂 but the scenery is out of this world. No surprise Star Wars scene were filmed there. Great images!
there should be a whole movie series called "shainbloom the landscape mastermind" i love everything about your art your epic pictures the calm videos everything your content is just pure perfection in my opinion 🤠😇 (and i like the sunrise glow more in the comparisson)
Beautiful pictures, as always. Sunrise looks for me more smooth and calm, sunset more dramatic. So i like the sunset pix a little bit more.
The sunrise shot is amazing. Thank you for sharing your thought process behind them!
Beauty Michael! All great images but I love that moodiness in the sunset image!
Thanks so much!
Hi Michael: Thanks for sharing your thoughts regarding the various shoots and the amazing images.
I’d love to see a video covering your stacking/HDR process.
I love the dramatic sunset glow! Great photos, Michael. I’m going back to Ireland for the 4th time in about a month, this time headed to the north of Ireland. That country is my favorite place to photograph.
Just amazing !! Love the stormy image at 14:53
i really love your passion in photography
Wonderful video and breathtaking photos!
WOW! Some of your best work! Great images and great advice. I preferred the sunset image! Thanks for taking me along!
Thanks so much Randy!
Yes, it's very beautiful. I like that the sunset is always so beautiful, with a touch of melancholy (>﹏<)
Out of the park bro! 😮✊🏼🤙🏼
Fantastic video (as always) so encouraging and inspirational …
Greetings from Dublin 🇮🇪
Damn!! Ireland is amazing. Fantastic work here man! Love these videos!
Beautiful pictures and an amazing video :) You are by far the most talented photographer that I follow. Would love another collaboration with Gavin. Thanks for sharing.
Wow thank you so much! I am meeting up with Gavin today funny enough :)
I loved the more dramatic sunset glow image.
Thank you!
Thanks for the inspiration - just what I needed to bump myself over the threshold of opening up lightroom and editing some images :D
I finally got around to watching this video and wow, what a wonderful array of images you have from this location!
You have my girlfriend and I very home sick 😂 photographing Ireland is such a joy and like always you have captured it so elegantly!
Cheers 😊
I love your videos and learn so much when I watch them. Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge with us. Your compositions and photos are amazing. It was nice to see Nigel with you as I also love his videos and talent.
wonderful Shots and wondferful Video. I recognise the island in your background with the three white buildings . I also was along the Dingle Pensinsula a few months ago..Lovely sea area of Ireland
I really liked the second "scene", the one without foreground.
My vote goes for morning photo! Been there is a magical place, so this feeling is more seen in the
morning photo ;)
Unreal photos. Need to get out here more this year
8:28 perfection of the seascape! The scene, light, and frozen motion. Wonderful.
Really liked the sunrise at 12 minutes. You are a magician!
Amazing stuff Mick! It was definitely worth the revisit the next morning too!
Recently got back into photography and want to give landscape a go... Always jealous of the great classic locations in US - Yosemite, Monument Valley etc. Saw this and realised, hey I live about 2 hrs drive from Dingle!🤣
Looking forward to the rest of the ireland series of videos. I hope you made it to connemara or parts of the burren landscape
Your blogs are the best in the business. Full of the important knowlege needed for certain shots; beautifully done.
Michael, always, always enjoy your VLOGS. your teachings and the results. Your perspective on working a scene and shooting it is awesome.
another great video and shots cant wait for more
Another great video, Michael. That wind was fierce. Of the 2 shots you showed at the 12:00 mark as beautiful as the sunrise version is, the moodier version is really something special.
Amazing location and photos 🤩
It's hard to comment, as I feel I'm audience to a master at work. Your videos are both entertaining and educational. And the pictures, well they are pure inspiration. Even so, I think I like the morning shot best.
Sunrise glow for me. Awesome location and images. Carry on. 👍 🥂
Just returned from a few days on the Oregon Coast with strong wind and often wind-driven rain. Fresh from that experience studying your hand-held approach with keen interest. Almost eager to take another crack at such challenging conditions.
Ireland is no. 1 on my bucket list. I will get there one day!! Beautiful images!!
Stunning scenery, captured so wonderfully well by such a talented photographer ! thank you Michael
Dramatic land/sea scapes, challenging conditions to say the least. Loved the images showing the changes with different light in the same location. Preferred the backlit sunrise image but the sunset image added to the story Michael 👌👍 great seeing you guys get together and show a different slant on the same scene.
Brilliant work Michael!
Thank so much!
Great photos, I prefer the sunset shot and the last few were amazing.
Thank you! :)
Very ! Enjoyable Video - thanks for sharing
Stunning…as usual!
Great information and beautiful photos ♥️
Hey thanks for watching!
An amazing portfolio. The austerity of the evening shots capture the intensity of the location.
Thank you so much Dan!
Thanks for always inspiring me to go out and go on an adventure with the camera.
What other ways can we support you aside from liking and subscribing? You’ve helped me creatively in so many ways. I’ll be out in the field going “ that’s a Michael Shainblun idea” and I’ve gotten happier with what I come home with.
I recently got my favorite autumn photo. I worked the scene for 45 minutes to get my final image telling myself “remember what Michael said. This is all about movement when you’re shooting wide” and I eventually was really happy with the final photo at 14mm.
Cheers!
Hey that’s awesome man, glad you got the shot! In terms of support nah you are good, just keep watching :). I have thought about doing a patreon with some exclusive content, tutorials etc. but I will have to see if time permits.
@@MichaelShainblum I’ll always watch! I just want to say thank you and views fall short of it how much I appreciate you xD.I hope to use this knowledge in Arizona this weekend/ next week!
Cheers
Thanks for this video.
Seascape with a storm always makes wonderful images.
Thanks for watching!
I prefer the sunrise glow🎉 thanks for sharing
Hey thanks for watching!
great video of one of my favourite places! I hope ye guys went for pints in Krugers, the most westerly pub in Europe after your adventures!
😍amazing
These are stunning!!! 😍
Thanks so much!
Great images... I personally prefer the sunset one...
Thank you! Glad you liked that one :)
Very nice video👍🏼. I prefer the sunset light as it gives the scene a more mystical and less saturated look, which is what I would imagine if I think of Ireland.
Thanks for such an abundance of gorgeous shots and your very talented video. There are some photographers capture some beautiful shots and then couple them with a difficult to watch video, others have a watchable video with very few photographs. You blend those talents beautifully!
Hey thanks so much George I really appreciate it! I try to make sure that a video covers a few outings so that there are lots of fun images to look at. Unless it happens to just be a crazy outing like my recent waterfall POV video, that one just ended up being a single evening video.
Look for Tri na Mbó in waterford. awesome spot
The sunset photo because the rocks lead the eye to the sunlight. Lovely photos!
Thank you!
Sunset😊
At 12:00 both images are beautiful but I really like the dramatic sunset, moody & accentuates the color of the water just beyond the foreground. The landscape there looks like a photographer's dream, thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much!
Incredible work. Sometimes I wonder why I even try. Hahahaha! Beautiful and a great location too. Thank you for doing what you do and sharing with the rest of us.
top notch, from irish midlands
I love the sunrise shot.
In these situations what do you think about using Auto ISO and Aperture Priority?
Preferred the morning light on the scene for this shoot Michael.
I am guessing that the sunset didn’t get the explosion of colour in the cloud’s.
Can’t have everything. Thanks for sharing again Michael.
Stay safe 🇦🇺
Thanks! Haha certainly can’t have everything, although I am a bigger fan of getting sun glow rather then vivid clouds. I did get some crazy light and clouds in two other outings in Ireland, those will be my next videos :)
Look forward to seeing the rest of the trip.
Location is Slea Head, Kerry and the the islands are The Blaskets
I liked the sunrise photo.
Thanks Len! :)
Sunset Drama moves me more than the morning golden hour
Sunrise is the better one :)
The sunrise glow for me, Michael. And I can't get enough of Ireland. What a beautiful place. Loved the drone shots; was that one with the bird in slomo or just the wind holding it up?
Thanks so much! Yeah the drone was shooting 60fps so it’s slowed down about half or a bit more.
morning vs sunset - I'd pick morning because of the warm tones and I'd convert the sunset to B&W
Hi, just new to your channel and loving it. Being from Ireland although up near the North Coast (you should definitely visit there sometime) I was interested in seeing your shots from there.
Just a quick question, are you shooting with a shutter speed so as not to blow out the highlights and bringing back the shadows in post production?
out of the two images, I like them both, but prefer the sunrise glow of the first one
❤️
Mike !!! I do not need another bucket list location... and yet, here I am :) did you crack your rear screen (or protector)?? @8:30 is amazing !! great shot ! just great music too !!
haha thanks so much, unfortunately I cracked the screen!
I prefer the color of the sunrise photo.
Beautiful! As for my favorite light for the image @ 12:00, I'd choose the sunrise. Nothing wrong with other one though! Did you see Gavin in Ireland? He was just there too! He and Heaton had some fun with Gavin's family too in Britain. Safe travels!
Thanks so much! Nah I missed Gavin! But funny enough I am with Gavin now back in the US so there will be some fun shenanigans coming soon after I finish these Ireland vids.
@@MichaelShainblum I can't wait!
will you be selling any of your Ireland prints on your site? I've been to these areas in Ireland and you really captured it well
I definitely will be! I don’t have that up right now but I can print any from this video if you shoot me an email here shainblumphoto@gmail.com thanks so much!
8:27 ❤❤❤
Witch ND Filters are using sir can you pls give me link
one on the left
Sunrise
can you plz do a video how you edited the pic!!!
I have some editing courses over on my site that cover how I do all my processing for shots like these. Exposure blending, dodge/burn, panos Etc. but I might do another editing video for these soon.
What did it happen to the camera screen?!
My camera fell on a rock :(
I do like the sun rise better
That's a nasty crack in your screen! Certainly doesn't appear to be a distraction though.
Awesome set of photos! The color of the ocean in the morning shot is beautiful, but I think I like the afternoon one better.
