Wings have bone in them period. No such thing as a "Boneless wing" they are chicken nuggets.
I can only assume they do it to charge more ...

The thing about Popeyes is they put that extra crispy coating on, which makes the very boneless wings, aka chunks of chicken breast, to be smaller ... so they do one chicken breast cut up, which costs them less than 50c due to their purchasing power, and then add 10c worth of flour to coat it, then the 20c sauce...
and charge $7
The bone-in version of those are bangin'! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Blackened ranch is the only dipping sauce to get at Popeyes with their nuggs
Tecnically, a nugget is mechanically seperated chicken that is breaded. These are tenders.

nuggets are a formed neat puece. Boneless wings ate whole pieces of chicken so its really the uneducated person that holds the opinion these are nuggets.
