I started smoking at the age of 16, got addicted to cigarettes. Spent my whole life fighting Cigarettes addiction. Cigarettes addiction actually destroyed my life. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. This is something that really need to be use globally to help people with related health challenges.
Congrats on your recovery. Most persons never realizes psilocybin can be used as a miracle medication to save lives. Years back i wrote an entire essay about psychedelics. they saved you from death bud, lets be honest here.
Can you help me with the reliable source 🙏. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Germany. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them.
Yes Dr.alishrooms
I'm really happy for you that your wife decided to help you...I hear about alot of family members or so called friends shutting an addict out of their life, which since most addicts do it to mask emotions to me is the worse thing someone can do to an addict.
How do I reach out? Is he on insta
I struggled with smoking until I got some chest pains that didn't feel normal. I was done immediately.
I pray it is nothing serious and I am happy that you quit brother.
Bah it goes away after a few seconds
Oh heart attack can also be a cure.
@sarag1716 Why would he/she smoke if there's clear indication of health deterioration. I just said it! now I am wrong ?
Aasa1a¥¢😂😂❤@sarag1716
I left smoking 12 years ago. It's about your inner decision. People who don't want really smoke, they really leave. They don't ask how. They just want and leave. I was stopping 4 years. But because I wasn't really wanting. I just was telling that I want stop. But one day I reached point, when I decided to stop because I want. Really want. I throw it into bin and never touched again. Everything else is just excuse because you don't want stop.🙂
Abbbbsolutely true and very well said!
100%. I only broke bad habits and changed bad lifestyles because I was really ready internally, in my heart, to stop/change.
I smoked for 25 years, towards the end of it almost 2 packs a day. Now 7 months smoke free. It feels great, the cravings still come occasionally. It all comes down to being stronger than the crave. How bad do you want to quit basically.
I am a 37 year bi racial woman who has smoke since I was 17. I’m quitting today after hearing this. It’s senseless, I no longer find pleasure in harming my body. I’m don’t throwing away my evolution, being my own enemy.
I suggest you take up inner engineering program, it helps greatly in giving up comulsions
I’m only 30 but everyday I hate harming myself it brings more depression than relieve stress.
Identifying yourself with concepts like being "bi racial" is senseless as well.
Why should anyone care about that? Your body is the result of evolution. It is yours, but it's not you.
Hah wow. Good for you!
My dad has a lung tumor so big his doctors say it's a miracle he can even breathe at all. He still smokes one pack per day regardless. He's 68 years old and has been smoking half of a pack to one pack per day since he was 16.
Your decision to quit smoking immediately after watching Sadhguru's video showcases incredible determination and strength. You are truly an inspiration, and I believe in your ability to embrace a healthier, smoke-free life.
After 39 years of smoking I realized I was actively giving myself cancer and laid them down. I had smoked a pack a day, at least. My body went through the physical withdrawal of the nicotine, but I haven't picked up a cigarette. It was suddenly ridiculous.
I switched to yoga.. and my mind filled with that kick off yoga.. left smocking easily 😊
I love the way he laughs🤗. My 10 year old laughs the same way, fills me with joy❤️
Wow, I quit smoking at 4th April 2020 and this video is 5th of April 2020

That was the most basic and eye opening way to look at quitting. I truly am amazed at the wisdom the Yogi has. Thank you❤

I grew up in a smoking household and had asthma as a child from it. Once I was out of the house, I was able to heal my lungs. I never have or ever will smoke. My mother died from COPD in 2018 from smoking. As a child I tried getting her stop, and she didn't.
Well, i quitted smoking about 15 years ago and it was a huuuuuge struggle.
I'm sure if i could have listened this words back then, it would have been much much easier.
P.S. - I took the risk of a difficult coniugation of english verbs, hoping to have done it right, or at least comprehensible😁
Just at the right timing, its about time i be more compassionate to myself and others.
I didn't find any Good reason to quit smoking but i did it effortlessly all of sudden and still i dont know why i quit and i loved that momemt. After 10 years of smoking habits.
One day, while I was sitting alone smoking a cigarette, I suddenly experienced a great clarity in my mind. I immediately put out my cigarette and did not smoke again for a long time. The whole process was very easy because there was nothing to decide, everything was clear as daylight. Unfortunately, I still use it and I feel lifeless when I don't smoke it.
If you feel lifeless when you don't smoke, then you should smoke very often 😅
you should smoke while meditating then..
I think you are working for Marlboro or Philip Morris 😅
No no no just kidding my friend 🤣🤣
I was just kdding bro.. keep it up
Take a bike travel around the country or play chess

That's it. I'll try to quit tobacco this year. It's a rough one, but in the name of Sadhguru I will try! 😁
Happy New Year everybody!

Social Situations, Movie Stars & Celebrities, Movies have made smoking a normal thing. I quit it with help of Isha’s Inner Engineering Program after 18 years of smoking and smoking up.
❤
I know the video was about smoking but, do you reckon the same answer could be similarly applied to things like alcohol or fast foods etc?
I believe this is universal applicable
Not me watching this 😅as now a non smoker, not even struggling with it, after stopped smoking 🚬 for about a year
I never have an answer for ppl on how to stop ✋
Just make up your mind ❤😊
It IS mind over matter! When you conquer that quest, you're unstoppable! Once you learn how, it can be applied to do ANYTHING you want to do!
I started it at 16, I'm 22 now
Still trying to quit
Thank you Sadhguru ❤❤
Few weeks after inner engineering program I just didn’t feel like smoking anymore! The drive for nicotine just went away, It happened so effortlessly I only had a thought to reduce but I dint except I would stop it completely!
Wish it would happen for me this way.

I gave up smoking 12 years ago. When I did smoke I knew it was bad for my health but the addiction and habit was stronger than anything. A very hard thing to give up and applaud everyone who manages it
Namaskar Guruji

Sadhguruji is looking very good in purple outfit.
Life is incredibly intense! I wonder? This seems strange to be considered healthy? Probably because nobody is intense in this way. Producing incredible awareness like children. Really it is the SAME. That's all I've to say. But with sadhgurus guidance and this incredible experience 🙏 I must continue to move on to ease further
Very niece ❤❤❤

I quit smoking over a year ago, I switched to vaping. Now I vape an ungodly amount, all day, every day. This is much harder to quit than the cigarettes simply because of the compulsive nature, I can take many more puffs of this than I ever could from a cigarette, but at least the vape itself is much better than the aweful things in cigarettes. That's what I tell myself, but if I'm true to myself I don't really think that's the case. St least not with the amount I'm vaping. Uggh. I needed to what this.
What i want to do to the world is incredibly ambitious. In my view it can be done by me, but its completely off the scale. Im becomjng much much more intense and powerful. Who knows what will happen within 14 months. Incredible. Im just becoming incredibly in tune with existence 😮
Thank you, yes. This is coming. Level can be abandoned though, reality has many levels not one! Thank you@@HerFavColor-ut9qb
You see...I don't want to wait..i'm so excited! But i know its best I wait for the perfect moment. its my nature for the last 24 years! Of course that one is going to change (my nature is) the moment I decide to MOVE!@@HerFavColor-ut9qb
We are in incredible times now for the power of manifesting. We are magic creators and we are waking up and remembering 🙏♥️✨✨✨✨
dont try to fight it...! just be aware of it and see for what it is and it will fall off itself
Quiet bookish.. I read such philosophies and tried multiple times but never worked for me
Mine fell off last week........lack of use.
"You can't solve problems at the same level they were created"
@@tejassutar5936 actually this is one of the meditation technique that shiva proposed in Vigyan Bhairav Tantra. It says "When some desire comes, consider it. then, suddenly, quit it.". Essentially it means observe the desire, dont ignore it and in observation you will realize that its not worth it. Please practice it enough before discarding it. Good luck!
And the best part is it's just not about smoke, it's about everything that goes against your system, is not a smart decision to take❤
If you realise that you are supposed to take care of people and not hurt them by leaving them owing to cancer , you get a solid reason to quit , i quit for the sake of people i love now it can be argued my decision is dependent on them what if they leave, in that case i will find someone or something again to live for
🙏🌸
Sadhguru, I hold profound respect for your insights and teachings on attaining states of heightened awareness, particularly the stimulation of beta and theta brain waves, which are crucial for entering a state of flow without resorting to external enhancers. However, the issue of utilizing substances like cigarettes and various regulated or unregulated drugs presents a nuanced dilemma. The effectiveness and implications of these substances vary significantly across individuals, influenced by factors such as environment, mental state, and personal understanding of your teachings. If achieving such states were straightforward, I wouldn't find myself resorting to benzodiazepines despite my extensive practice with meditation and relaxation techniques. For those in the appropriate mental and environmental conditions, your methods for achieving these elevated states might hold greater efficacy and potential for these same people who do and practice these things yet they need that quick remedy, given everyone is different , and every individual is found within himself under a different situation.
Sadguru please make a video on Bhavishya Malika
i did stop thank you bless you be well
I forwarded this to my friend who smoke, let's see how he look at it.
I can give up smoking whenever I want, I've done it loads of times.

Namaskaram .
People feels guilty a lot about Smoking. But it is not about Smoking or not. It is how we Focus our intent and attention with the moment present, how we learn how to make tobacco an ally and a Tool. Say gracias to tobacco, try to respect the plant, and everything will be okay. Tobacco is not the problem.
Guruji namaskar my first comment ❤

Bajé mi consumo de tabaco con la meditación Isha Kriya, y unos meses después de estar haciendo Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya, diariamente, dejé de fumar.

The brain is a complex system which expands and, if allowed, folds in on itself, creating enlightenment as described by gurus. The system must experience specific knowledge or become sick-like and discontinue its expansion. This knowledge is very dharma like - no central leader, etc. A thorough study of complex systems and the realization that the disharmony of your system is the only reality in which you have ever experienced. This, accompanied by continuous study of spirituality to turn away the disruptive thinking that is already present (Vedantic) can lead to complete harmony.
Satguru ji please make a video on how to get rid of nosophobia which is an imaginary fear of disease and overthinking about diseases

I find getting over the nicotine addiction very easy. Its getting over the physical act i find hard. The hand to mouth repitition is hard to break. That being said i do quite enjoy smoking as long as i keep it in check. I like one first thing in the morning to help with bowel movements. Also goes well with a cup of coffee in the morning. And i enjoy one after a meal. We know smoking in excess isnt good for anyone but i dont see it as a totally bad thing if you keep yourself in check.
True anything excessive is poisonous.
A perfect balance allows you to enjoy both worlds for longer tenure.
I was the same as you about the physical act and so I kept on smoking but I just never lit the cigarette. I kept the same cigarette for 2 months until it disintegrated. But I gave up smoking!
So basically it became a compulsion for you from 3 times a day.
Can you go without them for a day.
The original US surgeon General's report did not find increased cancer rates in cigar smokers. At that time, cigars were just pure tobacco leaf shredded and wrapped by a tobacco leaf, no pesticides. Cigarettes, on the other hand, have any number of chemicals.
If you're going to smoke tobacco, try to smoke only tobacco and not added chemicals. You may have to grown and dry your own, find someone who grows, or order traditional cigars.
The time in the morning he is using it as a medicine. I can testify that it works haha@@niteeshkatiyar391

What is the root cause of compulsion
If we all become God like, would the value of God get thrown away?

For more tha 15 yrs i was a chain smoker. I used to smoke packs in a day nd there was a time when i couldn't even convince myself to stop doing it. It was like i'll make my mind not to smoke and then the moment i smell the smoke of cigarettes of see one, i'd not be able to control myself.
"Just one", "okayy this is the last one i'll smoke", these thoughts came to me.
Then one day, i randomly found a video of sadhguru. It wasn't about smoking at all. It was just a random video. I liked it nd i started watching his videos thereafter.
Not suddenly but slowly that one pack a day became 8 cigarettes a day, the 6, then 4 then one nd i stick onto 1 for a long time. But then one day i started doing Shambhavi Mahamudra nd soon i quit that 1 cigarette a day as well.
Now, i'm smoke free nd i experienced one thing. For smokers, whenever you're free you feel like smoking. Let alone during the mood swings nd all but whenever you have nothing to do, you smoke. I used to do the same. But i utilised that time to do something productive. I worked on myself nd even then it took me so long to quit.
Secondly, we smoke when we're hungry as well. Many people do this nd sometimes the hunger is gone after smoking. Some even have one after a meal but that different.
Keep yourself full nd less hungry. Have something good nd tasty, that'll help you control your cravings for smoking.
It takes time, but it's not impossible.
Har Har Mahadev 🙏❤
I am raised with a waterpipe to smoke in Heaven's policy, I shall keep this habit while it has no promise of death but eternal life instead.
🙏🥰🙇♂️
Smoking seemed cool in my teens, but envisioning a smoke-filled room with bones made me quit. I'm okay without it now.
2 hours to change your life forever।
I don't smoke at all, but this is about the thing you do in your life in a compulsive way that are DESTROYING YOU. Learn to recognize them, the fact you are not smoking does not mean you are not doing something else (Like me, use to eat compulsively, weighted 110k, now 74k and healthy, stop compulsive behaviors)
Adiyogi-Shiva_Sadhguru-iSthguru - this is the line of the atman and ishvara.
Why? Power.

i went for a run i regulary did some years ago and nearly passed out half way. quitted smoking the next day because i realized the damage i did to myself.

Become a conscious smoker - by paying complete attention to the smoking process. You will quit 😀
