- A proper scan tool is needed for just about any 6.0L problem this is my recommendation-
www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000...
This is a great tool to control the IPR and really test this properly without a scan tool-
www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008...
Here is the Air Pressure test fitting used to check for leaks-
www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003...
In this video I walk you thought the basic steps of performing a leak test on the high pressure oil system in the 6.0L. More intrusive testing may be required depending on the point at which the air leak is the loudest. - Авто та транспорт
I'm glad there are techs out there to help
Thanks for the help I'll keep you posted
One thing to remember is that it is only the 05 and up that has the failure prone STC fitting. None of the 04's (not even the late 04) have the HPOP discharge fitting that can be corrected w/ the updated one-piece fitting. Also, the truck in the video has a tall oil filter cap. That can be ok w/ the proper filter that comes w/ it, but it can be a problem w/ an OEM filter.
Thanks for taking time to make this video.
Yes I saw your video and the icp is on the front of thevalves cover thanks for your help and taking the time to make these videos are really helpfully
Man you are the best. Thanks
I appreciate all your videos! Yours are the most informative and easiest to follow. Thanks and keep up the good work,

@@FordTechMakuloco man I need your help
Awesome video!! Great stuff
Keep up the good work
Great video. I have a 2007 6.0 and having serious issues with cold starts. I bought the truck used privately, and the old owner treated it like shit. It's fully bulletproofed but he was using shit oil and shit aftermarket filters for everything. I'm back to motorcraft products along with Amsoil 15w 40 with Hotshot stiction eliminator. My truck Definetly doesn't sound like it runs on all cylinders. I also have 2 codes for 2 of my cylinders that say contribution balance.... it supposedly has the high pressure oil pump connector. But I'm not sure what order I should go in to diagnose and fix this rough ass startup. After fooling for 10 minutes it sound the way it should be.
Good video very informative
Nice, thanks!
Wow needed this
For the benefit of good understanding I think it will be helpful if you can say what all these abbreviations mean, like the icp, ipr, pcm.By saying them fully it will help to allow others that don't know what they mean understand their full meaning.Thanks.
Hello my names Damian I am repairing a 350 diesel 6.0 I assembled it the other day I put an engine that I bought it was difficult for him to start after he started I turned it off and turned it on again it started well but after a while I found oil in the water I changed the cooler and the The only way to start it is with being fluid, it starts up and I have to have it above 2000 laps, I let go of the accelerator and it turns off, which may be from now on, thanks and your videos are very good.
Thank you bro
good video amigo
I have a preference for N2 hydro if HPOP system. Usual test psi NGT 1500PSI.
Is it normal after repair to re air test and hear a little air from crankcase? i have the test fitting right in the IPR valve I'm sure its coming from the oil feed side of the pump. I replace the pump and SCT fitting.i also removed valve covers caped oil stand pipes. Its an early 2004
Question is the icp in the hpop? Or completely Different ? My truck loses power when driving on the highway it starts jumping throws smoke and dies but once dead it starts back up again and drive it and then again same thing loses power speed starts jumping and die. Any tips? Should I replace the high pressure oil pump ? And the icp? And also fuel pump and filters ?
hello friend I have a question to work on a f350 2006 replace the seals of the oil cooler and the packaging of the air intake now I try to start the truck have some difficult starts and when it reaches its working temperature , does not start I have the code p2284 , when hot icp brand 0.25V , only 2 psi and 85 % ıpr you can help me
Sweet
i have 2006 6.0 f250 turns on when cold little rough then when i leave i dont have alot of power till warms up.....any suggestions what to chase after i bought the fitting for pressure test icp..i just did rebuilt on ipr but didnt check voltage..
I need a little help 06 F350 cranks, starts cold, runs for a minute then goes dead restart easy then repeats going dead. It does have a P273 code high voltage to #5 inj.that problem I plan on replacing that injector. All parts I use are Ford or Motorcraft this diesel is to labor intensive to use aftermarket. Thanks for any help ! Paul
What usually causes the p2286 code? (Icp circuit high) My truck will not run. Ficm is good, fuel pressure is good, and my sct says I have 1600 icp while cranking.
I have a 2004 f250 diesel 6.0. My truck did this around winter time and we cleaned the icp sensor an plugged it back in and it ran up until the other day. Now it is not even cranking. Could the icp sensor be completely done and that's why it won't turn over? It's just clicking. Any advice?
so many points for leaks... i HATE it when its the w pipe leaking, you think its the injector seals when its not the nipple on the pipe is leaking... only had one but my fuck i was mad:P
I have never changed a branch tube and now since the 6.0l are out of warranty hopefully I never will. The other ford tech in the shop did one about a year ago and said it was the biggest pain.
ye from what i understand it can be, but doing it in chassie is, i would pull the engineto replace it myself
I'm having the no start when hot, I pressurized the system, I hear air flowing, doesn't necessarily sound like a leak but should you hear the air noise stop when its is full of air?
hey I have a Ford f350 king ranch that it's starts but want stay on . I replaced the oil cooler now it won't stay on it need help if u can
I have a 2004 f350 with the 6.0l when I crank it over I can get about 450psi of oil pressure but it's asking for over 1k, after a long crank it will finally start but has no power and won't rev up any and then after a few minutes of running it dies any idea on what I'm looking at or were I should go from here? Thanks for your help.
Hello. I have 335 code unable to build pressure. New icp. New ipr. Truck fires up no problem. Idles at 500 rpm or so. Sometimes surges up and down. Oil pressure reading from cluster gauhe is at 40 and sometimes goes up to 80. When I shift into drive. My throttle response is dead. I can rev in neutral only.
Hi, thanks for the video ! Could you tell me how I can command IPR to close from VCI?
Thank you !
So I have a 03 6.0l and my basic scan tool says that is has 410psi at starting and it need 500psi minimum so what do I do there I will try the icp voltage and ipr
I have 05 6.0 with an air leak in HPO system truck will run for about 15 minutes than dies, as I monitor icp I can watch it fall off until falls below 400 psi than engine dies. Truck came in for injectors. I replaced all 8 injectors stand pipes and dummy plugs, after that this issue started with engine shutting down after 15 minutes. I can hear air on right side I isolated both oil rails no air leaks. Replace IPR and STC fitting also, when putting air through IPR I can hear air coming from right side I have found it coming valley, do you think I have a branch tube issue?
Mine doing same thing help me out bro great video mine has new stand pipes and dummy plugs new, pump and injector nipple seals..when I do a air test it leaks slow everythings connected ficm wise, turn key fwd and air changes but doesn't stop completely is this an issue
Would this cause hesitation or bucking only at highway speeds?
I’m at the part where I need to jump my truck and it’s taking forever... lol . My ipr had the screen completely blown off. When i took it out. I also figured an oil change to attempt to drain the debre and new filter
Hey i have a 04 f250 no start but i cant get live data i have power from the obd 2 port but my scanner says no communication
Very informative video, thanks. Where can I find that software?
Ford ids eBay has it, there is also a free “forscan”
i havea 2003 f250 was driving and thought i ran out of fuel went and put 3gals in started up drove 2miles stopped started up and drove 3miles home and it died before i got home just had new injectors and fuel pump put in about 1 year ago the codes read p2614 p2617 p2290 p1000 what to do?
Just curious, what all would I need to start working on these on the side (as in any & everything)? I have all main tools as I'm a diesel tech in a Volvo truck shop but, I'm fascinated with all the diesel pick ups, I have an old idi non turbo I'm fixing up at the moment which is like day & night to a power stroke! lol I have the air test fitting (made one in the shop one day working on a f450 with a 6.0, that was a nightmare at first lol), also have the IPR socket (attempted to make one out of a 1/2" drive axle nut socket that was a waste)! Anyways any other tools needed (gauges, specialty tools, etc)? Also, a good scan tool that's bi-directional but not bad on the wallet(checked out the maximus but, it's $3400), saw a program called auto ingenuity that was a purdy good price & was bidirectional, the reviews seem promising, I currently have ScanXL pro with the ford add on but, all I can do is view codes and PID's, which is helpful but, isn't as good as having the ability to command the IPR valve or do injector cut out, etc. Any how, thanks in advance and have a blessed day! P.S. sorry to be so lengthy!
Well I would say the block off tools for each head when doing dead head pressure test, the special threaded fuel pressure test adapter. There aren't many special tools for the common repairs on these. I think the most useful is a bi directional scan tool like you say so you can control things like the ipr fuel pumps etc we do most of our diagnosis with the functions on the scan tool so that is the most important tool on these.
You know a cheapest scanner for diesel ? Tanks in advance for your time
I had a quick question about 6.0 IPR valves. I suspected an IPR that was sticking when I 1) had hot start issues and 2) started to throw codes about Injection Pressure High at idle and it would actually shut the engine off. I replaced it with an aftermarket IPR and now my problem has changed. I now longer have hot start issues, but if I shut the truck off and leave it for more than 4 hours, the oil is leaking out of the oil rails. I'm guessing that since I never had this issue before, and that my hot starts and high pressure codes have been fixed, that I've got an IPR thats functioning when engine is on, but isn't keeping the oil in the High pressure oil system. Is this possible? I don't know enough about why if would leak down overnight but not during operation/hot starts and can only assume that their must be a check valve in the IPR to keep if from draining down when engine is off.
Well damn, now I’m curious and no one answered 😒
Great video and good knowledge, thank you. I have a question; what scan tool are you using in this video?
That is our Dealer scan tool from Ford called the IDS.
Have 2006 F-350 that I just replaced oil cooler on and after all work done it started and let run and went for a little drive and all seemed ok as it had been running for over an hour, I shut it off and left it for the day and it was warm, at least up here, I went to start it and no start situation occurred, brought out snap on scanner and it came up with P2284 code for ICP,checked ICP pressure and it was 189 psi but batteries were running down so my next move would be check solenoid at rear ?? and check as have ben told unit can be bad as it was placed in by ford shop and yes was very clean on cooler replacement.
I would go right after the IPR and check the screen and valve very common after repairs clean or not some debri is likely to get missed. No Start: Ford 6.0L Powerstroke IPR Checks
I have a long start on my truck and once it finally starts it sounds just like that truck did at the end of this video where it runs like crap and then smooths out. This happens anytime I let the truck sit overnight or for a few hours after driving. Anyone know what would cause this issue every time I go to start it when it's sat for a bit?
Also it didn't have this hard start issue until after I changed the Turbo. Happened as soon as a new Turbo was put in.
Only other time it would have this issue is when I drive down the road if I really put the pedal to the floor, poll a load, go up hills or something like that The truck will start to lose power and then stall completely. After it has stalled by half to weigh a few minutes before it will even start again and it will run my crab just like it did in this video when the truck starts at the end of the video once I started backup when it's having that particular issue. Any ideas on what it could be? By the way this problem with it stalling out and losing power happened before the Turbo so it's been a continuing issue. Sometimes I can even drive the truck for an hour with no problems and then the next day it'll have problems after 5 minutes where it will start to lose power and then completely die on me and run like rap when it starts again.
Did you ever figure out this problem?
got 05 6.0L diesel no start did everything ,pulled injection pump, installed update, replaced fica, still no start, ipr pressure is at 0 no matter how much you crank motor, also replaced batteries for slow cranking
Ok so you have base oil pressure according to the gauge? What is the icp reading, and ipr reading during cranking.
what year 6.0 is this your working on?
what can i do i have the p2262 code on my ford 350
So even if the IPR is bad there won't be no codes? Liking all these 6.0 videos thanks!!
I have never seen an ipr code of any sort, it will eventually set the low icp codes though.
good evening
I have a ford LCF 4.5 L diesel its a 6.0 less two cylinders, it has a Now start, the Ficim is 48 volts Key on brand new ICP hits 1000 Psi or 1.55 volts and the IPR is 35% it will not start still i had a Code for Injector 6 I changed the injector and the Code went away I have No active Codes, any body have any idea?
thanks
i'm having a crank no start issue with mine, 390PSI max while cranking and IPR at 86%. hooked up air to the ICP and i heard air coming out of both valve covers and the turbo drain tube or hpop cover... it's a 2003 and i just replaced the HPOP, ICP and IPR 100miles ago. Am i screwed?
I replaced my ICP and IPR. The truck will crank and run, but it won't rev up. IPR reads 85%. Any thoughts
How can I crank the truck over without the truck starting to see the oil pressure gauge reading to verify the low pressure pump is working?
Also, I have the P2290 and P2614 for the cam sensor I believe. Which system should I diagnose first? Both my HPOP and Low pressure oil pump are new as my motor was replaced 3 years ago. My Cam sensor was replaced a few years ago however my crank sensor has not been touched.
Thanks!
If you haven't figured it out yet, there is a wire running along the right fender. Near the hood hinge is a quick disconnect. This wire is just for starter engagement. Disconnect and make contact on the positive post of the battery to crank. Don't forget to reattach it.
If the cap is missing will that be a problem no start
I need some help, I'm working on an 2006 E-350 with the 6.0. I just finished replacing the intake gaskets, oil cooler, and egr cooler. When finished i started the van and ran it for a solid 2 hours. I then shut itself off, now with a crank-no start condition. Turns over great but will not start. I plugged in our computer the same one you have and ran the same test. i get 293psi on the icp and all the other voltages are within range. what would be your next step in this case? Thanks in advance for your help
Eric Viergutz Pull the IPR and inspect the screen it is likely damaged. Replace the ipr and you should be good to go.
FordTechMakuloco Just like you said, took out the IPR and bingo there is a rip in the screen. replaced it and now its good to go. thanks agian

I have '03 6.0L no start. Just found ICP voltage is 0.13 with key on engine off. When I crank the motor I don't build any oil pressure. Is this because of the ICP or do I have 2 problems (ICP and LPOP)? Thanks for the videos.
Curt Canine Yes you need to fix the low pressure issue first.
where can I find that adapter ?? to pressurize the system
All parts and tools are linked to in the video description of all my videos.
what did you do to fix the problem I did not see you change or replace nothing pls help
michael haiden This is only a test video it will lead you to the problem. This one required a new IPR I have a video on that also.
if that gauge doesn't work but u can see the oil coming up .. still no start thamay be the problem I got new hpop n I dont see pressure build up on the icp
The gauge should come up after some cranking. If you just replaced the hpop then it will take allot of cranking to fill everything up and fire the engine.
Where can I get one of those fittings for the icp to air
Online sells them OTC 303-765
Hi I have a 04 6.0 no start it has a new oem ipr 2 months ago new after market icp was running good after I replace those parts but now won't start oil pressure gauge goes up when cranking what u think thanks
luis lopez Start with the pressure test that tells all. My bet is something has blown through the ipr screen again.
where can i get the computer program for the 6.0 that you have? i have a 2005 f250 with the nightmare, i mean 6.0 and i just had 8 injectors glow plugs both valve cover gaskets replaced and did the blue spring upgrade the truck ran for a week and i shut it off one day went to start it right back up and it wouldnt start. i put my scanner and my icp wont build above 243 but i dont know if my sensor is bad hpop has a bad seal or whats going on with it. im beginning to hate this money pit
Thomas Adam You can get it it from motorcraftservice.com it is very expensive though.
FordTechMakuloco thank you I will look into it. Owning this 6.0 it might be a good investment. This has to be the worst engine ford and international could produce. I'm old school 7.3 for life like everyone else.
I have 03 code p2290 at full throttle everything runs perfect starts perfect hot or cold any rec icp ipr are new turbo rebuilt
Nice video is there a way to bypass the ICP circuit so you could start the engine?
+Jesus Ramirez If you disconnect the icp sensor connector while the key is off and goto crank it the pcm will assume 700psi I believe and allow the injectors to fire but there still has to be icp pressure, a working FICM and fuel pressure to fire.
Thanks you for taking the time to answer one more question whats the name of the program you are using thank you fordtechMakuloco
So if you can get the engine to run by disconnecting the ICP sensor, what does that tell you? Does that confirm that it is indeed a faulty IPR or a faulty ICP? Or possibly both?
@@paulludtke349 Did you ever find the answer to this?
WOuld my edge Cts pull those codes mr fordtech? @FordTechMakuloco
Man I'd love to get my truck I to you...where are you
Ok I have a 2004 f250 super duty 6.0 motor with a no start problem the motor will crank over until the batteries go dead but won't start but if u shoot some ether or starting fluid in the airbox it will long crank over and catch up but as soon as you take your foot off pedal it'll shortly die and won't start again and doesn't throw any check engine codes at all. Every UA-cam video points towards a bad icp sensor so I replaced it with a brand new one but still no change I took the fuel filter cap off turned key over at fuel bowl fills up and overflows, drained the fuel that was in it a d replaced with new fuel and still nothing!! Don't have money for the snap-on scan tool, so is there anyone who could possibly give me some tricks or tips on what more I can try or something please...
looking for advise. 06 6.0 was cranking longer and longer today. It then would not start. my edge cts shows very low icp pressure which i figured. Well i checked low pressure and the housing fills up.. i already have the updated sct fitting and truck has 161,000 miles.. only about 4000 miles on since studs, hpop update, egr delete. truck ran strong just a starting issue now... where should i start?? i dont have a test fitting for air checking.. thanks
I would pull the IPR and inspect it as shown in this video- No Start: Ford 6.0L Powerstroke IPR Inspection
Hey what eneded up being the fix on this?
Hello
I would really appreciate your help my 05 has a crank start when hot it has updated stand pipes and dummy plugs I did a leak test and hear a really loud leak in the pump cover but a very small hiss in the cover ¿is it normal to hear a slight hiss in the valve covers? BTW I have the ids but have no clue how to command the ipr shut
Did you ever figured this out I have same problem
@@rileymosier9093 yes it was the snap to connect fitting there's a updated part that has a integrated lock nut
question, I have an ICP thats above the 5volt range. Should I replace the sensor or is it something else?

I have an 06' F350 i got no start with rngine hot issues. I did the stc fitting on it and thought I might as well do the IPR while I had it all apart. I heard stc fitting go out on them so thought that would fix it figured I'd do the ipr as well. Didn't think anything but the pump going bad thought it could also be the dummy plugs or the rail leaking. I disconnected the ICP to check if the ICP was good it still wouldn't start. Hooked up a Ethos plus looked at the PIDs of the ICP when cold I got 650+ psi when cranking. I let the engine warm up turned it off when hot no start only getting 322 psi. I know I got a leak in the system somewhere my guess is either the pump or the rail itself. Any way to narrow it down to which one it is or should I just take the valve covers off and check if the rail is leaking? Figuring taking the valve cover off would be easier and quicker then taking out everything to get the pump out. Also If the rail ain't leaking how would I test the pump for internal leakage?
Has anyone come across what appears to be a missfire only when coasting on a 2004 6.0L ? Only after the truck has warmed up you take your foot off the gas above 2500rpm and it sounds like the injectors are working erratically. sounds like they are turned on and off every .5 of a second or so. if you turned the key off and on constantly with out the engine running just the injector buzz is the same sound. new FICM engine harneses etc. still the same problem
brad searle bruh it's a diesel they're going to make noise
what scan tool is it that you are using looking to get one that can hook up to my laptop to
+rivarunner rivarunner I use the dealer scan tool called the Ford IDS.

Great video. I’m having a no start on hot. My ICP is reading somewhere around 280 psi on no start. I know it a HPO leak. What I’m trying to figure out how do I command the IPR shut with my Forscan lite BAFX WiFi during air test? Can someone please help me?
Wow no help. Thanks guys👍🏿
Make your own pigtail you hook to the battery
Joey Dalia I bought me a IPR controller. Thanks though
Hey i am having a problem with my 2006 F350. it has a long cranking time before it fires after sitting for a little while (in the morning, after work, etc.) when it starts it seems to run fine. And if it is running for a while and hot and i shut it off to get fuel or whatever it doesnt crank as long but it almost seems like it is trying to fire and stall at the same time until it is completly done with the starting process, then it idles fine, drives fine ect... not running rough i just dont know how to explain i?t. it almost seems like it is getting too much, or not enough fuel but i dont know (no scan tool). This has been going on for a couple months or so but it has always started and never let me down before. a couple months ago i ran injector cleaner/fuel treatment thru it and it seemed to help for a little while but it started to act up again recently.
The other thing is i stopped the other night to get fuel, put 10 gallons in and it wouldnt start after. just like the no start in the video above. i killed the batteries trying to start. i got jumper cables and had some one charge my battery and it started up and ran fine (except for that wanting to fire and stall the same time thing)
I have no idea what it could be but i believe it has something to do with fuel. Any advise would excellent as this is my first PSD and im pretty much clueless on these more complicated areas.
Thanks for the time and i hope to hear back from you,
Mike
For this problem you really need a scan tool or the Scan Gauge 2 and monitor ficm powers and icp reading because it can go either way with your concerns. Also cold problem could be 1 or 2 glow plugs that have failed. None of this usually turns on a check engine light. You will at least need to get this scanned at auto zone but for a complete diagnostic you will need a scanner of sorts to check this Pids.
could it possibly be the "dummy" plugs also?
It definitely copuld as they are a slower leak but will still cause problems you mentioned. It is best to see if it is a Ficm power issue or ICP issue then we can concentrate on one system of the engine that we know is causing problems.
My icp went out, if I unplug it and dry it off on the inside I can usually make it home
Where can you get that adapter?
I just purchased a ipr will arrive in a few days preying that’s my crank no start issue
Was it?
Dustin Wag no installed brand new one still low icp I have high pressure oil leak buying air test fitting to locate leak
I have a 06 6.0 had dummy plugs replaced a year ago and just replaced the egr and oil cooler, I drove it for three days and a code PO 2290 poped up, injector cnrl press to low my truck runs great, starts and idles perfect. is it my ipr valve?
Ryan Epperson Do you have access to a scanner we need to check the icp voltage koeo to make sure it is not biased.
FordTechMakuloco no I have no access to a scanner I have a scanner that just reads codes, should I just replace my icp censor?
Have you cleared the code and drove it again to see if it returns? This code will set after the oil cooler was replaced due to long crank time and air in system.
Yes I cleared the code went for like 10 15 miles and it did come back on
25 to 30
Hello again.I haven't been able to get my truck running.I remove the valves cover and there are not any dummy plugs or stand pipes.any suggestions thanks in advance
Ok so you have just a single log then and no icp sensor in the valve cover. Those early builds are known for pumps failing on them allot. I am not sure if you replied in the past at the moment about diagnostics we already di because youtube comments are down again.
I think the icp is on the front of the valve cover passenger side, just like the one you remove on your video .I remove the valve cover and I didn't see any plugs only a plug with a 1/2 inch drive I can crank it for 10 seconds and the oil gauge don't move but if I crank it again for another 10 seconds the gauge muve right away but it doesn't start so you think may be the pump, thanks for your help
There are too many variables, only thing you have verified is the low pressure pump is working. You must do the air test it is the only true way to narrow it down. The next thing I would do is remove the ipr and see if the screen is torn/ smashed in. How did this truck fail, going down the road? Is there any codes?
FordTechMakuloco I have done the air test and I here in the hose just constant air is that mean the ipr is stuck open??
You have to command the ipr closed at 85% or higher.
What's a good affordable scan tool to buy ?
Bluetooth adapter and I forget the name of the app believe it starts with a c
I tested mine for a small hpo leak... I applied power to the ipr, I done the same test you done and the air sound did not change, there is still air sound coming from the oil fill and vent on the drivers side valve cover, so I pulled the ipr and done a bench test and the ipr worked on the bench test. I’m confused what my problem with my truck is.
I had the same problem. I used FORScan to close the IPR and did not hear much change if at all. The reason was because I has significant dummy plug and stand pipe leaks. Pull the dummy plugs and check the seals. If damaged replace and try leak test again.
Any update on why that happened? Or does op have any thoughts on why this happened to y’all.?
What is the name of software you are using FordTechMakuloco?
It is the Ford IDS software.
thank you!

Constant air in the hose while doing the air test???
Yes
I'm failing to build pressure have extended crank to start like over 30 seconds. Once it's idling desired ICP PSI is 800 but I'm only getting 480 to 500. Clearly there's a leak somewhere.
IPR air test reveals no leaks. ICP air test with IPR blocked by a ball valve on the IPR test fitting reveals no leaks until after about 5 minutes when gurgling and air can be heard through a listening device when placed inside of the oil filter housing.
I've read that the only time you'll hear air or oil gurgling through the oil filter housing is when you have an internal leak within the hpop. I pulled the h pop and bench tested it only to find zero leaks whatsoever.
Anybody have ideas on what could be going on here?
So I cranked up my air compressor to 125 which is the max and bench tested the hpop again. It took a minute or two but now I can put a heater hose to the low pressure intake port on the h pop and hear gurgling.
Sometimes it takes a while for the leak to reveal itself. Another tech told me that these systems are designed to run at thousands of psi and when you're only putting 125 into it it may take a while to hear the leak.
I have a Ford 250 6.0 when im driving it, the truck just turns off. Can someone help me see what the problem is?
I have a 05 Ford f250 with a 6 old done done all the tests on it and still can't get it to crank with no oil pressure what do I do
I HAVE A 04 F350 DIESEL, THE USE DURING THE DAY AND STEP TO THE STORE AND SHUT OFF, THEN I CAN NOT TURN ON, I HAVE TO WAIT 50 MINUTES FOR STARTING AGAIN .. CAN BE A SENSOR? O WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? ... ME AND I HOPE YOU RESPOND
Richie Glez You have a high pressure oil leak and will need to find it with this test in the video. Most likely spot is the dummy plugs or a STC fitting that is starting to fail. Find it before it blows and dies on you. I also Have a video on the STC fitting replacement.

So it has to be cooled off for it to start? Or hot it will start you just need to try it a few times. Is your icp sensor in the right front valve cover or in the rear?
No it doesn't have to cool down just out of the blue starts

Is there a sure way to find out which wire goes where?
Thanks.
You can just go off the old one if it is still there to see which wire goes where, or if it is not there send me your email and I will send the information.

Rod bearing knocking that's the problem of low oil pressure right there
i have 05 f250 with 6.0 after i apply power to the ipr and add air to system, i hear a air leak on the high-pressure oil pump dump hole. is that normal or should it be fully sealed after power is added? i hear it really loud when no power is added which i know is normal but leak is less when power added
