But this one time I finished an assignment fairly late and I shared the file and just slept. When I woke up I remembered that as a “fun fact” about Australia I had written that “two people from Stray Kids are from Australia”
No point were docked off and there was no note written. I guess my teacher just skimmed over it and was just confused about what a “stray kids” was

Not a teacher but a student. My friend and I had an assignment due and she was tasked to finish her part and then turn it in. Literally the next day we were called into the professor's office, turns out instead of our assignment she turned in her other assignment of Male and female genitals with different diseases and their explanations. She was so embarrassed.
The last teacher is getting a lot of deserved love, but do not forget the teacher that told their student they hadn't read their awesome fan fiction. Bless that person.

When I was in college, I struggled a lot due to physical and mental disabilities. There were services that helped, like note-takers (fellow students paid by the university to take notes for disabled people) and taking tests in a test center away from distractions and with increased time allowed. Those services helped me, but what helped me even more was my biology teacher being super patient with me. The class went on a field trip to a nearby forest/nature reserve. There were some students who drove themselves there but most took the university's vans (it was a small class at a small university in a small town). My teacher's assistant drove me in her car along with a couple other students because crowds make me just shut down.
When we got to the forest, we had to document what organisms we saw there. Everybody kinda split up into a few groups of friends. I didn't really talk to the other students and I also have health issues and mobility limitations so my teacher and his assistant walked along with me. It was such a nice day and it was so fun.
Years later he moved out of state and his lab assistant (now a full-blown instructor) took over his microbiology class. Part of the class involved watching documentaries and writing an essay on them. Once Halloween rolled around, she played a documentary about the history of zombies in culture and it also examined zombie-like phenomena in nature (such as fungi that control the minds of ants). It was a lesson in critical thinking and the assignment was basically to write what we thought about it. But the teacher looked at me before she put the documentary on and said "[Former Teacher] told me you'd like this." My old teacher knew I liked zombies and knew that would really engage me.
I really miss both of them. I had to drop out of college due to health issues and my health has gotten so bad that even daily activities are tough. It was fun while it lasted.
When I was 12 I had to send a video of me playing a song on my instrument for school. The video wouldn't load cuz it was too long. I exited out and tried again. Miraculously, the video sent almost right away. Turns out i had sent a random video of me playing a meme on the piano. Luckily I sent something music based and not one of the countless other weird things that were on my phone.
Once I accidentally sent in a half-edited rap (my music teacher despises rap) insead of a group project. That was awkward.

So I have some stories. One time I was emailing a group project to my music teacher and accidentally sent in one of my half-edited raps I was working on. Another time I accidentally sent in a Lil Uzi Vert meme when I meant to submit geography homework. My geography teacher called me in for an *_interesting_* conversation about music.
Not me but my cousin.
Accidentally sent his teacher a whole folder of kermit photos, just kermit photos stolen from google instead of the report (he was the leader of the group and the teacher only accepted files from the assigned leaders).
Did not realize what he did until the next day.
That last post really just solidified the fact that I want to be an English Teacher. For the longest time now I've been going back and forth about what I wanted to do in my life, but that really did it for me. I'm going to be a teacher.

@@japanpanda2179 I have anxiety issues. So I'd still be paranoid. And not only that, but finding out I didn't submit an assignment I worked hard on, would be really disappointing. So I usually double check to make sure I sent the right thing, and that it's not a rough draft or anything.

one i accidentally turned in a whole ass meme dump instead of my end-of-quarter essay. the day after i turned in the essay and got a 95.
In English we had an assignment about a few suspense stories, nd in my essay I couldn't think of s title. So I put in a filler title.
And forgot to change it. Anyway my teacher came up to me and asked if this really was the real title or not and I had to tell her, that I in fact, forgot to change the name to something other than "spooky scary spider legs sending shivers down your spine" in the middle of class.

One day, I was supposed to turn in a writing in history class, but I instead attached a file with nothing but seven Canada memes. Smh. I didn’t know until the next day, when the teacher came to me, said that he enjoyed the memes, but asked when I’d turn in my essay. He was very understanding when I said that it’d been a mistake, so we went to a computer and he let me turn it in before school started. He’s a cool guy tbh.

I’m a student and I accidentally sent my schools assistant principal a picture of a Buff Crash Bandicoot making out with a Buff Tiny Tiger and another picture of Crash Bandicoot licking Neo Cortex’s forehead. He told me to please refrain from sending anymore images. On top of that my email signature was “[NAME] Łörd œf Çúčkš”. This was meant to be spent to a group chat of mine to which we send each other blank x blank pictures to laugh at. Ex. Jimmy Neutron x Carl Wheezer.
I was certain I’d be called down to his office because I pretty much just sent porn to the assistant principal. I was never called down. If I were him I wouldn’t want me in his office as well.

I once submitted a rough draft doc instead of the final doc to my philosophy teacher...and I got an email weeks before the end of school with just this "very disappointing" and a notification that i received an F for the paper. I hurry and rush to google classroom to see what i had submitted and instead of the paper i submitted just this sentence., " this prompt is boring af." I would write what happened after but that's too much to write lol.😅
And also for my college comp class I would usually get bored and just type stupid stuff to pass the time. Well I forgot to delete what I had wrote and I submitted the outline with one of the bullet points saying "idk blah blah blah blah blah" 🤦🏾♀️😂

Once I was actually discussing something about design that involved anime with a math teacher because the class was way to slow for me and finished assignments within 10min of getting them and actually pulled up some anime pics on her computer to show her part of what I was talking about. I didn't stay in her class for very long but it was because that class was to slow for me not because of the random anime moment.

Accidentally sent in the instructions for the assignment rather than the assignment. They were in similarly named Word docs. I saw my mistake and sent the prof a rather panicked email at 10 pm explaining what happened and asking to resubmit. He cleared it and I put in the assignment. Think I got 100
So I had two particular files. One of them was my tech homework, the other was a "*chuckles* I'm in danger" meme which was "When you forget the homework for [teacher]". I was going to send the homework to my teacher and the meme to a close friend, but I got the two mixed up.
I did send the homework to my teacher after, but when I came into his class he had the picture stuck on his notice board.

One of my professors mentioned that when she was very new to teaching and little older than the college students she taught, a student wrote a story in which he married a woman that was exactly like the professor, even down to the name, and gave a lot of details about how many children they had, what kind of pets, etc. I don't know if he submitted it on purpose or not.

Kind of related to the topic but a friend of mine once posted on Facebook saying that in the last hour, they had been getting various emails from students from a college because apparently the teacher had the same name as him.
In late high school, one of my teachers taught me a writing technique for when I had writer's block. She said to write literally whatever was on my mind at the moment onto a separate document to collect my thoughts. Sounds stupid, but it actually works for me. Anyway, I did just that when I was trying to complete an assignment once and accidentally submitted the random bullshit I wrote on the separate document instead of my report. So instead of a 4 page book report on some book I was reading, I submitted "extra _thick_ asses and where to find them" and other equally stupid crap. She thought it was funny and allowed me to resubmit the correct document

English Major here.
One of my profs didn't believe I'd written an essay I'd submitted. This was the first essay he'd received from me. I have been a recreational writer since elementary school, and I like to think I have a decent creative ability.
So I get my paper back, and the prof doesn't think I actually typed the essay, saying I was not that "eloquent" (they weren't wrong - I am a horrible conversationalist). They asked me to write an essay for one of the other writing prompts. By hand. In front of them. And turn it in by the end of class. Plagiarism is a major infraction so I don't blame them for being skeptical.
I finish the essay in twenty minutes. Prof collects it. Next class rolls around. Prof hands the hand-written essay back to me.
Made a straight 100%. Prof called me into his office to talk about a book he's writing.
We now occasionally meet for coffee in the library and talk about our latest works. He's a cool dude.
Omg the fanfiction one was my favorite. I swear I almost did the same damn thing to a teacher once but double check file name just before sending it. I swear I about died. 😭😭😭😭 I died laughing that the teacher actually graded their fanfiction. Hahahahaha

Once, my friend got a 2/10 in biology(don't remember why). He then wanted to send an email to our bio teacher asking for the reason. He accidentally sent it to all the teachers in the school. That caused quite a confusion, especially for the teachers we didn't knew.
