- A small selection of shots from a couple of hours spent at the East Lancs Railway on the first day of their three day Autumn Steam Gala. All shots filmed around Burrs and Summerseat. Locos featured are 9F No.92134, visiting from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Furness Railway No.20 which appears courtesy of the Furness Railway Trust and from the home fleet Lancashire and Yorkshire Saddle Tank No.11456, L & Y 'Pug' No.11243 and L & Y No.2890 which started life as an Austerity 0-6-0 before conversion to a tender loco in the 1990's
Excellent footage Austin, ideal conditions for your opening shot with a cracking display from the 9F and a great treat for all the campers, cheers 👍
Thanks Nige, really lucky with that light for the opening shot as it had clouded over a bit a few minutes before.
Excellent production, glad you had good weather for it to.

Excellent footage there Austin especially of the 9F and No. 20
Thanks Andrew, I do love the 9F's, a great sound from them and lovely to see the Furness loco for the first time, almost as old as me!!
What 1863 when it's was built no comment lol
Wonderfull locos nicely Captured on a very crisp autumn morning, very nice Austin, Steve .
Thanks Steve, pretty perfect conditions for steam in the morning, changed a bit later though
Austin, A sensational video especially with the opening sequences at Burrs that had outstanding lighting. Great quality as expected from your good self. Regards, John
Thanks very much John, that early morning light at Burrs was very fortunate as it was slightly cloudy a few minutes before the train arrived. Think I should have headed home after getting that shot!
Austin we almost back home in Perth, at the moment we’re in Bangkok, thanks for the video
My pleasure, have a good onward journey
Super video Austin :)
Many thanks Simon
Great locations as usual. That’s the best caravan park in the UK!
Thanks Stephen, I wonder how many of the caravan owners are rail enthusiasts!
@@acw71000 Who could ignore a steam loco passing by as they munch cornflakes and have a brew?!
Beatiuful video ,greetings 🚂🔔
Thank you, glad you liked the video
Nice Austin, good to see a 9F.
Thanks David, yes I do love the 9F's so good to see this one again so soon after the NYMR gala
Wonderfull.. more
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video
How do you get to the first and second shot of the 9f
First one is easy, it's Burrs Country Park just outside Bury, take the lower footpath by the Brown Cow pub, go under the railway then footpath on the left. Second one, follow the footpath from Burrs around the river until you get to the spot. It's at Springside Farm. Lineside vegetation spoils the shot a bit unfortunately
