It's their most powerful loco and as you say, what a fantastic sound it makes. The coaches are certainly better than a Mk.2 coffin with defective air conditioning!
Austin, A most enjoyable video with plenty of rock and roll from the locomotives as they exert their power in the idyllic landscapes. Hope you both enjoyed your holiday. Regards, John
Van stops in the distance ahead at 2:05and the driver gets out wearing a high viz vest and hurries across the crossing; was he supposed to be guarding the crossing or something, or was he chasing the train? He only just got there before the train. He appears in another shot later as well
Stunning footage from your trip to this beautiful location Austin. The performance of No 15 was something else.
Thanks very much Bob. We certainly enjoyed the performance from No.15, it was really special
Excellent . Great video and nice sound . Thank you Austin
Merci Maurice, I see from your channel that you have some fine videos from the CFBS which I will look at over the next few days
Well done again Austin. Great shots from well chosen locations and a beautiful soundtrack. Take care - Chris
Many thanks Chris, it was an enjoyable week with the steam working on the steeply graded section the icing on the cake
Won-der-ful ! I am surprised I wasn't there. But I'll go soon, I'm sure. Thank you for sharing.
Many thanks Jean-Paul, it was a very pleasant surprise to find steam was working to Cayeux and the sun finally shone as well!

Great filming Austin, like the shots from the fields.👍👍
Many thanks David, glad you enjoyed the video
What a terrific sound that little green tank engine makes storming along. Also I love those carriages with the lowering windows and the verandas.

Yes, he comes up from St.Valery to stop any traffic at the ungated crossing. He did leave it a little late in one of the shots!
the line conductor must protect the crossing for safety reasons
Great video Austin, looks like you had a great holiday away. Those French locomotives sure do sound nice as they’re working hard. Regards James
Thanks James, they do make a great sound and it was a real bonus to find steam running on the lesser used but steeply graded part of the line
Excellent footage Austin and nicely planned out with some great locations and a great place for your holidays, cheers 👍
Thanks Nigel, yes it's become a favourite spot of ours over the years and not just because of the railway! Lovely area to visit
Nice Footage there Austin of steam in France.
