Question. On your a steps. The Amsteel rope. Do you have a prusik cord tied to rope them use the loop for the button? If so are the steps more secure like that versus the cinch strap that comes with some?
Good video. Would you be able to tell me what accessories /brands / make / model etc you are using to pull your bow up and to strap your sticks to you. Thank you.
Personally, i feel like the tether should be attached before climbing onto a platform. The linesman belt isnt going to help you if the platform fails or you slip off.
We hunt based on the cover the tree provides. Typically it’s 3-4 sticks high and it varies from about 15-20ft in most cases. We did 3 sticks for the video simply for demonstration purposes!
Great video. I'm studying for my first saddle hunt this year.
Thanks for watching - good luck!!
Same
Good luck
@@whitetaildna what "gear hanger" is that you are using?

Do you have a video on how you setup you dump pouch on the saddle?
Luke is a straight up buck killer, great video!
😂
Awesome video, what backpack are you using?
Thanks! We’re using the mystery ranch treehouse 38

That’s a good point!
The lineman’s belt will most likely keep you from falling all the way down the tree…but it will hurt…a lot…
100% agree
You don’t hit the ground but you’ll be flossing bark
@@ChrisSmoove77 that adds character
What pack is that?
Enjoyed the video!
I do my climb using the same process with 3 HH 33" sticks with 18" coated wire loops on the bottom steps. I always get 20-22 feet high.
Sounds like a solid setup!
Yea this guy ain’t 8-10ft nowhere near 22ft
do the math you can stack those end to end and be 8ft. add in aiders and the gaps between sticks you can get 20ft no problem.
Used to run the exact set up 20 feet all day
what is the gear combo hanger you use?
Where could I get some of those hooks for your saddle? And platform?
Hooks are from innovating the outdoors! Platform is from trophyline!
What heigth do you get with 3 sticks? Is that the normal heigth you hunt at?

Great info.
Thanks and thanks for watching!
About how high do you normally hunt with 4 sticks
Usually in that 20ft range give or take!
I had no idea that people do it in more than one trip.
Smooth
Appreciate ya watching!
Get you some aiders. You’re welcome.
Looks super easy 💀
Deff not at hunting height!
How to hang a saddle setup 8 ft up a bare tree and stick out like a sore thumb low hanging piece of fruit lol worthless
Thanks for letting us know you're deaf and didn't pay attention
its was a demo dude lol he wasn't goin up there to hunt this time
