@@dinometta it was incredibly annoying to watch them turn on you guys tho... I get pachy's have a bad rep but you guys gave zero indication you were going to be agro... felt like they wanted to kill y'all for no other reason then just because... which is something pachy's are known for
@Sassafrass95 Yeah, we'd been nothing but chill after the flight was over. 2 calls all around, resting until we'd healed our sickness. And then the second we let our guard down, that teno attacked Nobu. I think it really just wanted to kill him because of his myth skin. Don't know why it then came after us too, considering we both turned and left without attempting to avenge him
ohnoes.. a cliffhanger!!
once you have a small group of three i would say i gets really fun we actually ruin carnos days
@@darkspeel oh yeah, three pachys are an absolute menace. Even one with a teno, dibble, or stego is a serious threat. I tend to avoid them when I spot them

They're skins that are exclusive to the server and can't be chosen normally. You just have a % chance of getting them when you spawn in
Is it non-officials officials or both? Also can it be all the dinos or only specific dinos with exclusive skins?

I feel like you and Owltime in an isle play together would be fun!
It very well might be!
the fight at 11:00 is nothing strange, Pachy has its headbonk attack "active" for like half or more of the recovery animation.
Meaning that the Omni seeing you miss the attack, thought it was a good opportunity to punish you and then got their leg broken instead because they tried to attack you while your attack was still "active".
Just one of the herbi perks I assume since this is how it has been since forever and afaik never attempted to be fixed or even acknowledged as a bug by the devs.
@@TheHuffur It didn't used to be that way, wasn't a thing when I last made a video on pachy 10 months ago. Has to be a bug, an incredibly wonky one too.
The funniest thing happened to me I was playing teno, doing pretty well, afk'ed in a bush then all of a sudden a fresh spawn carnotorus came up to my half grown teno and started biting me I fr 2 shot him, I just love how dumb some carno players can be, I had a laugh and just sat back down in a more well forested bush

this game is so janky lol
Your video's are great! They made me want to play the Isle again after years of not playing. I booted the Isle up and gawsh, how do people still play this? It's so difficult to find a good server with space in it, it's so hard to see even with night vision, I couldn't figure out what foods to get, and it's so laggy and glitchy.
Honestly, AWFUL game experience especially compared to how easily I could play on Legacy back in the day, but I'm happy I get to enjoy the game through your vids at least.
Yeah, the game is fun... As long as you can push through the bugs and have an idea of what you're doing. Everyone isn't very new player friendly in its current state(and I mean that as in new to evrima, not new to the isle in general)

@@H3rry118 That sounds eerily similar to what seemed to happen in my fight against the raptor. He was just suddenly stuck to me, biting, but not able to hit me until he finally fell off
I never understood why some deino players get so far from the water against agile enemies.
It makes me cackle every single time xD
@@dinometta it just makes no sense. You are at a HUGE disadvantage on land. I only leave the water's edge if I'm being chased as a baby.
@StanislausJGaming Exactly! I much prefer staying in the water and immediately vanishing again if I miss
Would be better if they added stun to carnos
@@EthanDavis-ur5fl pachy used to have a stun, but some changes in the game caused their stun to break (I didn't understand the entire reason, but you can listen to a developer talk about it on Poutine's Livestream). It wasn't intended to be removed
@dinometta ik, I like it even though I nevered experience of stuning a car now ( nevered played the evrima at that time. )
that raptor fight midway through was delightfully confusing and entertaining XD
It was so wacky xD
People talk crap about mixpacking all the time but stuff like this is completely fine for them. It's the same case. EXACT SAME CASE.
3:08
@@aydemsadventure3752 Truthfully, I would much prefer mix herding being disallowed too. Herbivores in general are already overly bulky and strong, herds of mixed varieties are incredibly difficult to even attempt to hunt.

Why on earth does a Cerato make his foes vomit... And why not a proper Pachy-knock at the ribcage or in the stomach? I always wondered about that.
@@DragonDrop4758 cerato is supposed to have an incredibly bacteria -filled bite from eating rotting flesh that makes its foes nauseated. But it would be pretty funny to watch a pachy make someone vomit haha
i admittedly haven't played the isle in a few months, but pachy has been feeling neglected since they reworked the enemy weights that can be stunned by a pachy ram. Many times ive encountered dinos that can't be stunned with a charged RMB attack, but can be stunned with the alt attack. that just seems nonsensical! trying to combo attacks and get fractures both feel really inconsistent as well :/ it's fine if pachy isn't OP anymore, i just wish some of this stuff got cleaned up. and the ram attack still doing damage during the recovery animation is egregious, that poor raptor haha
@@littlemadster yeah, I feel like pachy has been heavily on the back burner for a long time. It should have at least had the lingering hitbox issues resolved by now

tried to play this game after watching your videos all day yesterday...played for 3 hours and only encountered anybody like twice. died on every carnivore I played from starvation as I only ever found one or two animal to eat. Got really far on an omnivore as finding plants to eat was easy.
@@troyschramii4828 I definitely recommend starting on herbivore and omnivore. You'll learn the map, where people generally are, etc. that way, when you do play carnivore, you'll know where to check to hunt
@@dinometta I don't understand why people are or would be congregating anywhere in particular in the map in any predictable fashion instead of wandering the entire map exploring and rampaging about. I don't know how this map is hiding 100 people as it's not even that large, I've played games that have had larger maps. and only 15-25 people on them yet it was nearly impossible to not encounter anyone in much less time.
I've watched some other people play this game, and somehow they seem to know where people are in great specific detail. Like "There are two dibbs over there" yet the footage showed zero people in the characters vision at any point; there's no form of radar; and smelling doesn't tell you where players are. I don't know how some people in some videos seem to have some kind of ESP. Yet others have no idea when another creature is right next to them.
The last time I played; I was a stego in the swamp; there was abundant food and water....and nothing else..nobody else.. just hours of nothing. i grew to full size on all omnivores and herbivores with no issue but had nothing to do all game. I had about 2-3 fights on one omnivore but they were mostly just me drive by slicing someone and running away repeatedly.
