you can actually jump while on the ground and do about 70-90 damage (with body or head) when fighting those smaller dinos like utahs, especially ones like at 14:50
one mini tip the palm tree where the mix packers where at you can sit on top of that tree to safe log or get stam oh and right now herra as changed if you see a other herra they is a good chance it will try to kill you anyway cool vid

Have you seen any of the hordetest changes? I like them a lot except for the frame rate problem obviously, but I figured that was expected since its a hordetest, I actually played pachy and I never play it and it was pretty fun, didn’t get to see how its trot was now compared to before though lol.
I just barely switched over today after I got this video finished. Played about an hour of raptor. Schooled some ceratos that thought I would be an easy snack. Gonna have to collect more footage and toss up a video soon
@@dinomettanice, I kinda suffered as raptor just a little earlier on the live branch lol, died probably 5 times before finally getting perfect diet from *east* and then broke my leg, healed it, got to a sanctuary and tried to hide up high for a bit and somehow missed a jump when I landed on a barely tilted ledge and died 🤣
Path of titan flyers also tend to forget to look up. They really should, 'cause they aren't the only flyers in the sky. A hatz can glide for a long period of time without flapping once they get to a fast speed. You wouldn't even know they were there until it's too late. Lol

Omg, was this on NA3, bc I think I may be the dead dilo LMAO. We were fighting that teno for the longest time, and I was really hungry so I tried to go down after it and died alt biting it to death. Idk how it made it off of that cliff dude, but it was hurt.
It could be you guys, there was the huge mixpack running around with a group of dilos and when the cerato from that mixpack showed up I just assumed. But yes, NA3 was where that occurred. She jumped very carefully and got out, I watched and had it recorded, but it's such a devious place for tenos to camp I didn't want to show it for fear of it becoming a thing. She was completely out of stamina when she hopped down there, I was surprised no one face tanked her on the rock!
@@Taitea_____ just kind of depends. I like the NA2 server primarily, but since people cry about no AI it's not populated as often anymore. Otherwise I run any other NA servers or petits Pieds
Take a look at my hunger bar throughout. The vast majority of other prey either is AI that flees before a herrerra can even get close, has already had the organs taken by something larger, or is quite literally stolen from you when you kill it. The dilo in the rocks during the montage was immediately taken by the carnos and stripped of organs. The adult raptor by the river was taken by the deino right away. Even many of my smaller kills were taken away. Without proper diet, everything from stamina usage to healing is affected, so eating organs was absolutely necessary, wherever they came from. Sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do to survive. And other times.... Well I don't like mixpackers, no matter their size. As larger dinos I don't kill juveniles. But solo herrera is most successful hunting small prey and always will be
I wouldnt mind if some mechanic was added to encourage some real life instances of mixpacking like how coyotes and badgers work together. Something mutually beneficial though so it isnt just a carno hunting with his utah minions.
I can understand tiny tier carnivores scavenging behind larger carnivores. But I don't want the isle to become like PoT where certain carnivores have abilities that are specifically geared toward mixpacking
@@dinometta Fair enough. I'd just like to see scavenging become a more viable playstyle instead of just feeling like luck most of the time. I've never really understood how big mixpacking groups can even sustain themselves for long.
Just saying mix packers are disgusting. I understand a herd of herbivores but when I start seeing carnos needing to be protected I'm reminded that there truly are some players who are way worse than myself.
That's where I've been playing almost exclusively lately, but the server is usually dead in the evenings when I have the most uninterrupted time to record :/
Omni has many issues, most related to latency struggles. But the bite delay is probably the most random nerf raptor never needed. It does feel better in the current horde test though. Hopefully raptor redemption coming soon
@@DavidSerg I'm the opposite. I can't go back to legacy after playing evrima. I did hop back on legacy dilo the other day for the nostalgia since evrima dilo is a disappointment, but evrima has become my home
