- Here’s a video on the Sig Sauer P365X Macro Comp with the Sig Romeo X Red Dot. I’ll be puting 500 rounds through this to see if it’s reliable to be a carry gun. I hope this is helpful!

In this video I’ll be putting 500 rounds through the new Sig P365 XMacro to see if it’s reliable. How many rounds do you think you should put through a gun before carrying it?
Xmacro is my EDC too. Never had any reliability issues with it. Everything else collects dust in the safe. One of the best shooting pistols i own.
Awesome to hear! Glad you love yours too! Thanks for the comment🤘
Got mine when it first came out! I was a little nervous when people started saying that they rust and that the mags are hard to load. But everything has been great so far. Probably have about 1000 rds through it and I’ve yet to have one malfunction. Love it. It sadly retired my G19.
same, but Rose.. ✌
I carry the MACRO Tacops without the slide compensator. Love it. Over 3K rounds so far with no failures.
I just bought one yesterday, getting ready for my new carry Xmacro love it.
Thanks much for the results of the 500 round test 👍🏽
Absolutely, thanks for the comment!🙌
Yess sir , I have had mines every since they came out , got about 3500 rounds thru mines not one hiccup, and never had a problem rusting ‘😊😊
Trust my life to a Sig.
Same here! Love them! Thanks for the comment!🤘🙌
Cool Test. Love the Sig Sauer pistols
Agreed!! Thanks for the comment!🙌🙌🙏
Just picked one up this past week. Great shooter. So easy to shoot fast. You could really see the difference in muzzle flip side-by-side with your XL
Yes!!! Glad you love it too! Thanks for the comment!🙌
great video! buying this tomorrow because of the clearly very good reliability you displayed here
You’ll love it! Thanks for the comment!🤘
The XMacro is the way to go love mines 💪🏾
Love mine, my favorite EDC I own
XMacro with the Wilson frame is my go to. Really like the grip Wilson has for them.
Yes!!! I might have to try a Wilson grip out on mine! Thanks for the comment!🙌
Love that Wilson frame. Best thing I put on my macro
Great Video. Learned a lot by watching - much, much appreciated. Got a kick out of the speed load and the Tesla in the background.
My EDC is a G19 with a safe full of other Glocks, but want to be familiar with both brands - Just purchased one and now on the CA 30 day/10 day waiting period. MEH - may have to move back to the United States.
Bought the non comp Macro then gave the slide to my wife for her XL frame, took her regular 365 slide and added a threaded barrel and Harrington comp on the macro frame. Gonna try it out tomorrow
Sounds like a nice setup!! Let me know how it goes!🙌
I actually just traded my 365xl in for an x macro. Glad to see that I made the right choice, I haven't been able to pick up my macro just yet due to state laws (3 full day wait time) but I am HYPED to pick it up tomorrow!
Probably I’ve been better off just purchasing the slide that way you could have a winter and summer carry
Should take the XL slide and put it on the Xmacro.. That setup is the bees knees to me
I absolutely love my xmacro it is my edc... I am lookin at the xmacro axp legion
Thank you for the video… curious how the xmacro carries??
Great video ‼️ I was wondering if you had any complaints about the sliding being extremely hot?? I’ve seen other reviewers mention this.
nice video
I have the Xmacro on the Icarus Frame, and it's damn sweet
I am thinking of getting a P365XL for daily carry but then I may look at the CZ-P01 too!
Get the cz. So much better. You will love it. Or the cz p07.
Both are solid options! You can’t go wrong either way! (I do love my Sigs tho lol) thanks for the comment!🙌
I carried the CZ P01 Omega before switching to a Walther PDP. Main thing you’ll notice is the weight difference. Polymer pistols weigh significantly less than the full metal ones. The other (downside) to the CZ is that it’s not optics ready from the factory. I’ve shot the Sig P365xl and it is phenomenal in terms of what you get. Essentially It really comes down to personal preference, so don’t let my comment dissuade you from the CZ. I love my CZ, it is among the best handguns you can ever own.
I consider not being able to feed the first round with a full mag a failure. Hopefully they have 0 issues loading or racking the slide after a short break in
Xl is still king in the p365 line imo I find myself carrying the xl everyday while the tacops is a safe queen!
Is it worth buying the macro with the sig Romeo optic?
I thought about getting a macro tac-ops as a backup carry gun i have shot them a bit they shoot well, they have had some growing pains but Sig has been pretty quick with revisions. But the other day at the range doing a class one blew up and i just can't trust it. The striker blew out the rear and hit the shooter in the face not a fun time and it was a brand new macro shooting factory ammo. I would be comfortable carrying a new gun after a few hundred rounds and at least one mag of the ammo you plan on carrying to make sure it feeds.
I seen this on m18s, where the back plate and rear site flew off while firing. Happens very frequently. Had one hit me in the shoulder when someone in front of me was shooting. But that's just a matter of that screw coming loose, never heard of that on a 365 or 320
Oh wow that’s crazy!! Might have been a QC issue or something on that gun! Thanks for the comment!🙌
Kabooms have happened with every brand, especially Glocks. I love how when it happens to a Sig, people blame the gun. I love the double standard on here.
@@great_deception I see what your saying but just in my experience I see issues will all firearms but lately sig has an iffy track record just in the sample size I have seen
Have around 1k or so through mine and not a single failure of any kind.
That’s awesome to hear! Can’t wait to get mine up to 1,000 rounds! Thanks for the comment!
I prefer Glock, until I bought an xmacro tacops. This gun has changed the game for edc. It replaced my 43x
The funny thing is I just bought the Macro today too lol. Can't wait to test it at the range!
Yes! You’re gonna love it!!🙌
I only counted 438 shots...I demand a redo!
What kinda shades bro ?
try a TRADITIONAL ARMS holster I love mine
I’ll have to try one!
@@1stShotTacticalwould love for you to try one out!
The slide on the 365's get extremely hot
Truth! They do get warm after running a few Bill Drills in a row!
Mine sucked, I’m not making that mistake again. I have two Glocks now and a Ruger p89, there’s also Smith and Wesson
Did you try chambering then topping off the mag? I’ve had two failure to eject when running 17+1 . Just curious to know if you had any problems or tried that your self?
Just got mine and put almost 300 through yesterday. I did have two failures to eject on the first rounds after topping off the mag. It wouldn’t run consistently with 18
Thanks for the update and good question! I think it’s good to “break in” the mags first before doing a 17+1 carry because the mag spring is too tight from the factory. Once the mags are broken and you should be good to go!
Dziękuję za recenzję. Pozdrawiam z Polski.
What optic are you using? Just bought one and looking for a red dot for the 365 x
Sig Romeo-X or the Holosun 507k Vulcan!🤘
What optic is on the X Macro also what optic is on the XL? 🤔
The Macro has the Sig Romeo-X and the XL has a Holosun 507k Vulcan 🤘🤘
Many users require a lot more but if I can fire 100 rds through mine with no issues at all, then I consider it good to go.
100 seems like a reasonable amount! Thanks for the comment!🙌
i used an aftermarket glock 43x mag that held 15 rounds. it was a ProMag (not the shield plus or PSA micro dagger mags). the ProMag fit all 15 rounds pretty snug, fit into my gun nicely, and even cycled perfectly fine for about 200 rounds. on my last range trip that i was going to before i determined it was reliable to EDC, i got several magazine failures. slide locking back in the middle of a magazine. so i went back to OEM. i would highly recommend a high round count such as 500 but IMO that’s not enough. i would say 2000 honestly but most people don’t have enough $$ to break in every new EDC gun with 2000 rounds. 1000 is doable
So apparently sig is a good gun when it actually works
It always blows my mind how many people use this as an EDC with no issues ever. First 200 round I had an extractor failure, sig told me it was over pressurized rounds. BS, I never use hand loads and I only use blazer or magtech. After it was repaired (not on SIG’s dime) it had constant feeding/extracting issues. As much as I wanted to depend on this thing I couldn’t. Straight back to VP9.
Sig guys always making excuses. I had the same problem with my sig macro and ended up going back to my g19. I shouldn’t have to wear in anything to hold 17 plus 1. The last 5-6 sigs have been shit and they make amazing 500 dollar guns for 1000 bucks!
Is a sig reliable?
Yes, it shoots no matter what.
How much was this model
The XMacro comp normally runs $799.99. I put the Holosun 507k x-2 with the multi reticle system green dot on mine. It runs $329.99.
507k or romeo x?
Tough! Both are solid and very comparable! You can’t go wrong with either! I’ll be leaving the Romeo-X on this gun because I really like the new reticle it has🙌
@@1stShotTactical ok which one for deep concealment then?
Mine doesn’t allow 17+1. The mag sucks to load . After it’s loaded it doesn’t rack the slide. It’s more a 16+1 gun.
Agreed at the beginning! I will say the mags got “broken in” and are easier to load now. Now I can carry 17+1 no problem 👍
@@1stShotTactical that’s good news I only have 200 through mine
Load the gun properly, lock the slide back, insert fully loaded mag, and drop slide with slide stop lever.
500 rounds proves nothing..... S I G ...Blows....
😂😂
Pretty consistent slow draw tesla boy!
😂😂
