TRIKARI just nabs the Grade 1 Belmont Derby from White Palomino!

Trikari just got the better of White Palomino in the Grade 1 Belmont Derby for Graham Motion and John Velazquez at Belmont at the Big A. Charlie Appleby's short-priced favourite Legend Of Time finished third after not being able to get a clear run.

@@user-fd9kq3rc7c Agree that Legend of Time probably would not win anyway, but this did not mean Buick not making a mistake. His choice of position getting onto the straight led to the horse being trapped at a critical time when the leaders started to gallop.
