Me and Liliana passed by this car washing st on a Saturday Night. We go inspired and by the next day we wrote a quick script and story board.
Just before the shooting there was crazy ice raining for about 30-45 min. right after that we went to the location and shot this short film within 1,5 hrs. We hope you enjoyed it.

That's pretty great, did you just use focus peaking. I don't see any focus follow so I'm thinking you didn't pull focus on any shots. either way, love it
yes focus peak only and I set the focus before the shot and maintained the distance, I think maybe I have pulled 1-2 times just a little bit

Hey, amazing short film from the sony fx30! How do you find the low light capabilities of this camera? I have the a6700, and the low light performance is terrible for video. There is way too much noise even when over exposing by +1.7 with slog3. Wanted to get your thoughts of the FX30 as I may be thinking of switching over
thank you a lot! well the fx30 has dual ISO so that helps a bit (second is 2500) and also this lens is a f1.8 but of course I have to apply a bit of noise reduction in editing (and that will be hard on your Mac hahahaha) I think you can manage with this camera for most scenarios but if you really need low light I would pick up a ZVE1 for almost the same price as the fx30

Dude! So good. Did you have a filter on the lens for the haze effect or was it just naturally hazy?
Thanks mate :) Just before shooting we were hit by ice storm, so the haze mixed with dust was due to that. As for the lights i used the mist filter

it's a good budget lens to get into the anamorphic world :D
