I would actually really love to see a video breaking down how you grade your shots. Your lighting is definitely really solid, but I think your grading talents do every bit as much of the heavy lifting as your lighting does. Seeing both processes would be awesome.
The practical knowledge in your breaking down video is really great. You've helped me understand more about lighting a scene. Thank you so much, I'm a big fan from Vietnam. 💌
yo this is so sick. i've never seen someone do such a comprehensive and detailed breakdown of their work while filming this is incredible. lots to learn from this
As usual, you’ve demonstrated to us how very appealing images can be gotten from even the most simplicity of setups. You’re a genius at what you do. You’re inspiring me. Thank you Suyorukun.
No one is talking about how good of an actress she is! That's 50% of the shot, or more? What do you think? Anyhow, your lighting is absolutely amazing! Well done!
Truly incredible insight! I don't know anything about film since my passion is music production. But it's always a pleasure to see what goes into all the other forms of art and production.
my favorite part of these videos is seeing how minimalist filmmaking can be. no need for large expensive rigs, dozens of lenses and whatnot. spend some money on some good quality lights and get good at grading. so nice to see this!
I'm so curious what you do for the FINAL step. I see a lot of people stop after Rec 709 and contrast. You add the final touches and it's so amazing. It's like the final mastering step after you've mixed a song.
Lately I've been watching A24 movies and the cinematography is astounding especially the movie "WAVES" amazing. So I'm digging out more info on that so more content pls.❤
Amazing ! I would love to see if this level of colour grading can be done on iPhone Log footage, entirely on iPhone without using any PC or Laptop. Please make a video about it if possible.
Wow so good, seeing that you shot the same actress with different cameras, I was curious to know if you preferred your results or shooting with the FX3 or BMPP 6k ?? Thanks!! ❤
Great work! Coul you please break down really quick how you setup your fx30 to get these clean images? I have it aswell and struggle to unlock its full potential.. Are u using cine Ei or normal slog? And what about iso?
Wow, thank you for this inspiring and educational breakdown. What are you setting your White Balance to for these? Especially in that section at 5:28? Would appreciate a breakdown of when to change white balance - like why did you choose 2500K white balance at 7:05?
This is beautiful and really motivating for aspiring DOP's! is there any chance you can link some of your gear? Specifically Bar light (is it nan or aperture or godox?), and that hazer??
How do you like the FX3? I just picked up one because Canon's IBIS R3 and other cameras have IBIS issues. The Fx3 seems solid and similar to shooting with the IG Komodo. Thoughts?
At the end video the WAB was 2500 in your camera and the practical light was 2500 k how the color still like orange I think it should be white not orange
After seeing Sora and how easy people will be able to make videos, I think in the near future people will see this video the same way we see how ancient films were made.
Wtf... TINY room, just a couple 5 in 1s and a bicolor light + tube... how does it all look so good and not light bouncing everywhere?! It's humbling and inspiring to see someone work with the exact same tools but make such beautiful images. Thanks for sharing! Really love seeing how you make this all happen.

X2 this was a master piece, you should cover everything from editing software settings to the actual color grading and exporting settings as well
will do! thanks so much😊
I agree
Agreed! Would love to see the colour grading as well. Killer work as always, bro!
Yes, please! @@Suyorukun

Beautiful work. I'm impressed with how steady those shots are for handheld with such a small camera. Did you do any stabilizing in post?
Thank you! it’s just straight out of camera!
