Thanks John, another interesting video. Also a big thank you to the random winner selector for choosing me, i don't usually win anything as a rule. Looking foreword to the line engraved and postal history video, definitely up my street. Keep up the good work.
John, once again a great video. You are right about Rob's youtube videos. I have been a subscriber of his channel for a while and enjoy his varied content. Hope you get the 1000 soon.
Hi John, thanks again for an enjoyable video, and for fitting one in a hectic work schedule. From my perspective you have such a wealth of knowledge about history and places and a knack for story telling. Your German collection is coming on nicely, so does your number of subscribers. Looking forward to your next video, here from Tauranga who had a good share of rainy days lately. 🌧
Hi Charnie, Thank you! I totally forgot that you souther hemisphere dwellers are heading into winter. Work remains hectic, but I'm taking some time in the evenings to spend some time with my collection, started organising my East Germany stock book.
I have been in London since Monday and have filled my busy days up nicely, including a trip to Stanley Gibbons. And yes, I don’s know what people are talking about with the UK weather, every day has been spectacular! another enjoyable episode John.
Hi Jeff, glad you're having a great trip, and yes, at times the UK weather is good. Where I live is prone to rain, due to being on the foothills of the Pennines. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment, and safe travels my friend.
Nice to see the HK stamps. I'm looking to expand my HK collection of modern stamps accumulated during my 6 years there. Some very interesting issues there.
Good morning John out of Port Elizabeth (South Africa) Thank you I enjoyed this video as a new collector of stamps, vintage and antique of the world. And everyone's telling me I cannot collect from A to Z😂I enjoy it and put old coins of that time with my stamps, newspapers I even framed😅Everything I have collected from the year 1800 to today have there coins of time with them.🤭I will never forget back in 1989 I started my apprenticeship as a panelbeater for R115 per week and R100 of my first salary I had to pay a fine for drinking in public😄Because my friend and I were drinking outside the night club in my Beetle, and that was my first time going to a night club🤣🤣John to you and all your friends a Blessed Sunday out of Port Elizabeth.🤝🤝
Thanks for watching Gerrie. I lived in Witbank, Transvaal from 1982 as a teenager, had some great times in SA. I have an episode, episode 6 that focuses on stamps of SA and SWA.
Does knowing that the DDR printed quite a few stamps with fake cancellations dissuade you even a little from wanting to put together a comprehensive collection?

Nice video again mate, some really nice stamps! I've got a few modern German stamps if you would like them? Take care
Thank you for the offer, that's very kind. Please drop me an email at johncollectsstamps@gmail.com, and I'll send you my address.
Another great video. will the new King Charles definitive stamps become known as Jennings?
I suspect so, I've seen people mistakenly calling them Charles III Machins, which of course, they are not.
