I'm actually glad miniseries still happen in this day and age. Sure, long shows are great, but sometimes it's just really satisfying to have stories that, while short, still have a good feeling of completeness 😊
That’s it! This will be the start of a new generation of mature animated series and movies, I dream of creating an entire studio dedicated to mature animation (keyword:mature. not adult!) so that shows like infinity train wouldn’t have to be endangered ever again!

Truer words were never spoken! This is definitely something I want to see more in cartoon going forward!
Infinity Train is literally one of the best cartoons of the decade, maybe even the best. It is so unafraid to talk about what it wants and in that courage it finds the skill and patience to do it well. Very impressed with it, very happy with it, very afraid for it being discontinued.
I agree with absolutely all your points! I’ll be so disappointed if Infinity Train never makes it past Book 3 because it would’ve elevated animated content so much if it were successful. There are still a lot of adults who grapple with the themes of each book... I hope Book 3 gets nominated for an Annie in 2021; maybe that might help keep it alive.
Y'know another mini series that WAS also showed on CN: "Over the Garden Wall" this show is beautiful, dark, and has an American folk tale look and vibe. (It's the type of show that you'd watch in October)
Unfortunately, most networks think TV viewers are too dumb and too impatient to sit through mature story-driven shows. I mean...for God's sake, Cartoon Network greenlit BATWHEELS
Yup, dark themes is also a NEED for the kid shows and stories. Kids stories being too dark for children doesn’t meant to be too scary, violent, and unsuitable for children. It HELPS the tone of the light-hearted/stories grow. If without dark themes in a children’s story it’s plain boring now.
Damned Kids, you leave them alone for 5 minutes and what do they do? They form a cult and/or go feral, first Peter Pan, then Lord Of The Flies, then Children Of The Corn and now Infinity Train
Always great videos by you. I mostly got to see stuff from Infinity Train by what people shared with me. It's a shame that a bunch of cartoons never make it outside the US. I live in Europe. Not everybody can afford a service that hides your region as well as also the dozens of streaming services to be able to follow every show. A subject that always wonders me with cartoons nowadays: Why are so many shows locked as streaming service only products? Why are people not able to get shows on Blu-Ray so often. Just recently somebody showed me "Steven Universe - The Complete Collection" which was on one side cool to see on disc, but it's DVD only. Doesn't that basically make the release a watered down version to what it was on the networks? Disney is even worse. None of their shows receives a proper complete box set. They always put stuff into their Disney Vault and leave public releases either inside Disney+ or random DVD releases of a few episodes. I really find it a darn shame that so many good shows are service only or released in a half-...you know what I mean, way.
"Too dark" is bullshit when CN has had stuff Adventure time, Regular show, Steven Universe i geuss, Flapjack, Teen Titans, Courage the Cowardly Dog for gods sake and sooo many more that got a pass.
ONE OF THE MAIN FUCKING ISSUES IS THAT ITS ONLY ON HBO MAX AND THAT SHIT BASICALLY ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE AMERICAS. I HAVE A HBO GO ACCOUNT IN MALAYSIA BUT HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO OFFICIAL ACCESS TO THIS SHOW TO PUMP IT RATINGS!
CN needs to woman up like haven’t touched on dark themes head on like they literally have a show that is an aftermath of a nuclear war. If you know you know
Once the show got pushed to hbo max is got way darker that final season was intense I'm 19 and I dont really watch cartoon that often anymore but I loved steven universe so I went almost 8 years with out watching any new cartoon besides rick and Morty but when book 3 came out of infinity train so much people was talking about it online calling it one of the best cartoons of the decade so I bought hbo max and decided to give it a watch I was blown away from the first season I couldnt stop watching and season 2 was even better I didnt know how season3 could top that but it did being the darkest and most relatable season of the show we need a book 4 I got to see if grace leaves the train we got to fight for this season even if it ends up bvb being the final season we need it

Hope infinity train get all the 8 books
Same
The 4th book is confirmed to be the last
@@DevinLotusSpires yeah it’s sad I just watched the video about it
I HOPE INFINITY TRAIN SHOULD BE BANNED FOREVER
This IS the type of cartoon the network would pick up. Cartoon Network was always the type to air risky shows on their network.
Infinity Train is literally one of the best cartoons of the decade, maybe even the best. It is so unafraid to talk about what it wants and in that courage it finds the skill and patience to do it well. Very impressed with it, very happy with it, very afraid for it being discontinued.
I love this show. I love animated shows with heavy emotional themes. Another great one that comes to mind is Over The Garden Wall.

I actually don’t mind dark cartoons. I love them!!!!

I'm really digging your videos as of now along with now covering the Cartoon Network shows.
Hope someday you would do a video on Kipo.

Loving the content!
Thaaaaanks :)
i noticed the family guy sneak, and i like it
4:54 Image of Family Guy flashes, when describing shows that make people think "adult animation" is full of offensive sex humor.
I was waiting for someone to catch that.

Commenting for the algorithm
6:09 This scene destroyed me too! 😭
Ah yes, dramatic cruel death, insanity, broke of the personality. All that little kids can want)))
"Too dark" is bullshit when CN has had stuff Adventure time, Regular show, Steven Universe i geuss, Flapjack, Teen Titans, Courage the Cowardly Dog for gods sake and sooo many more that got a pass.
We need a season 5!!
I love infinity train!

I AM slow on the uptake. 3 books later and 3 months after this video aired I finally got it.
Don't give up and never give in
CN needs to woman up like haven’t touched on dark themes head on like they literally have a show that is an aftermath of a nuclear war.
If you know you know
Love the video 😄 keep up the good work 😁
Keep it up this channel
Quitters never win and winners never quit

Ignore those who try to discourage you
OOOooh i need to check this OUT!!! =D
I 💟 this video
Believe in yourself
I still think kids shows should be made for kids, Yeah maturity is good but I feel like these shows aren't being made for like 12 year olds
Keep it up on the video
I want to watch it but i cant cause it costs money
I want to go back to 2009 and change my past
Book 1: 🙂
