Agreed. Only a couple of cars look right with exposed rivets and fastenings, and they’re usually race cars or RWB Porsches

I was concerned about the amount of filler but then heard "epoxy primer / letting it cure for 10 days" and figured you guys know what you're doing. Beautiful work, looks awesome.
Taking a poorly made wide body kit and transforming your z32 into a beautiful swan has shown just how much you love this car ..... and ........ what's even more importantly ........ is how this transformation will reward you on completion as it will turn heads where ever you go and brighten all z32 lovers lives. ha-ha

YO, end clip. still in primer, reflection off wall makes it look like a seafoam color instead of grey primer,, and let me tell you... that seafoam color looks amazing on that car with that kit.. wtf?!?! damn!

I have an S14 and hate the fuel door gap, so I decided to relocate the filler neck to the trunk, I'm still in the process of it but it's coming along, next is filling the hole on the overfender

Amazing fucking work, owner is dropping big money on such an ugly kit imo, but power to them for seeing the project through.
If I ran a body shop I wouldn't take on this job with the crappy kit the customer presented. Good stuff though but I'm curious on the longevity during normal use.

Been planning to mold my widebody kit for awhile now. My question is with all the holes from the self tappers what keep the metal from rusting behind the kit? Been a concern when thinking about doing mine. And you guys do killer work. Keep it up
What filler did you use to mold the kit to the metal? Not the panel bond but the filler used to fade the kit to the car.

Are there certain companies to buy wide body kits from, and some you should stay away from? Is this something I can find out on my own, or is it best thing to consult with a reputable company as yours?
There definitely is I wouldn’t recommend anyone taking one of these on unless your ready to drop some serious dough

SPDV6 rear kit (rear bumpers, rear fenders and side skirts) which was the problem. The front is TwinZ

Imagine this car in a year or two in the California sun/heat. Panelbond cracking, bondo sinking, fiberglass heating up and cooling down.. this is gonna be a disaster some day.
This will be a garage kept show queen nothing but the best materials going into will last longer than you think
Not if it's done with the right materials. This is how a body kit should be done. Using them fasting from the outside looks really bad. The other way is to make clips on the body it's self and push fit them on then use a higher temperature resin to seal the gaps before painting.

@@SOSCustomz , I'm definitely not trashing your work and quality!! I know you guys do incredible work!! And you make what the customer wants.. easy as that.. we do that too! But no matter if you use 3M or any other products it'll sink with time.. especially on fiberglass and in the sun/heat. It's impossible to make all those corrections on that horrible made kit without putting a ton of mud on it before paint.

I molded rear overs on my s14 and the filler cracked due to temperature change. obviously it's too late, but do you have any tips on how to avoid that?

Buying a cheap kit you’re just going to pay more to fix and shape.
Buy a street hunter kit you just need to bolt on. And paint. Little body and shaping..
Unfortunately there are not many options for wide body for the z32 platform. TwinZ is by far the best but they are behind on kits and hard to come by. Everything else out there is pretty much junk. The best way to do these days is to have someone fab up a metal body kit.

one of the reasons I loathe aftermarket bodykits, fitment is bloody awful.
I personally like AIT Racing body kits. They fit so well from the box. If there are any parts that need extra work, it’s hardly any at all

Cutting and molding a classic 300 body. SMH
Omg that metal work is HORRIBLE!! And they were putting tons of mud into that car n DON'T TELL ME IES GETTING SANDED OFF because its NOT it was put in places where is NOT GONG ANYWHERE they used it to fill large gaps and huge cracks and spaces where it should have been all metal and places where it should have been all fiberglass but i guess you get what you pay for. Might look nice at the beginning BUT IT WON'T LAST BELIEVE ME!!
