the guitar playing on its own is unique, the lyrics actually tell something different from others, the dude can fucking scream and the drummer doesn't do what every drummer does plus this song is sick as hell ! i dig it man.
so cool
I guess you haven't seen them live. Sounds like he definitely struggles for air
Matt Curtis really??? nevermind
Then you should know 'most' screamers don't struggle THAT hard. lel please
Chris cerulli doesn't struggle to scream. and he is always jumping around. (He's from motionless in white)
This is the archetypal Architects track. Has everything, beyond brilliant.
Architects is amazing because they are really different from other new bands.
Their music is intelligent.
they've been around since 2004...
Alex Weston Okay, they always sound fresh then
TRUE
Alex Weston
Although Nigthmares sounded like DEP
Albert Suchan I don't like Nightmares but since then their music has been amazing
I always come back to this era of Architects, what a journey it’s been
I can listen to this part 1:19 - 1:33 like a thousand times and still love it...
Such a sick riff
SAME.
hell yeah
I can listen to this part 0:00 - 4:31 like a thousand times and still love it... :D
Thanks for the free replay timestamp ;)
When the well dried up!
No one cared!
But when hell shows up!
They'll all stop and stare!
We've found the cancer inside of our heads
No turning back now
We're as good as dead!
@@mviktor21 tom feel that
More relevant than ever
1:19 has gotta be the greatest guitar riff of all time.
Fr reminds me of bmth the sadness will never end. This is why these types of songs are way better than rap
@@jeremiahbriney4899 bro shut tf up comparing it to rap what are you 12
broooo so underrated
2:40 Vocal in this part is so fucking amazing! Especially on "but when hell shows up".
Bravo!
Wow a metalcore band that actually know what the fuck they are doing, how about that. Great song, really impressed.
Matau96 Been listening to the bastards all weekend. :3
Oh Sleeper.
The king of, "Blah", screams!
Up there with Drew York
Blegh
SamsMusicification blleehhh!! Lol
Architects have already said on their Facebook page, they have no issues with people acquiring it through other means to quote their Facebook 'Seeing as most of the world (and most of our fans) are unable to buy it, you may as well find free downloads and get hold of it that way. If you American folk buy the songs and want to share them with non American folk, we won't stop you.'
Seven years later, still an absolute banger.
Just discovered this song, it's quickly becoming one of my favourite Architects songs
ChatmakGames same! holy crap!
my favorite band atm
yeah mine too
TheM1ghtyGuitarist im too excited for March 11th
Lost Forever // Lost Together is out on March 10 in Europe! ^^
What about now?
Bro, that fucking quick, tapping rift is orgasmic. Another brilliant song by Architects.
Great song. My mother passed away a few weeks ago and songs like this help
Bless you, continue on with your head high and heart true.
This song goes so hard. Not just the riffs and stuff, but also the lyrics.
More than how great their great music sounds, the message Architects bring with their songs is trully amazing. Bands like them contribute to another kind of conscience, to trully understand why we exist and how we can harm each other. This is brilliance in its pure state.
Is there a word for "this feels so good on my ears?"
You may be gone, but you'll live forever Tom. Thank you Architects.
They really need to start playing this live again!
denNicola they did!🙏🏻 they played it on their set during the last Europe tour!
This song followed by the devil is near lol that'll really get the message across
these guys should be so much more famous the are amazing!
Wait for it 😂
Yup, they became very famous
I didn’t know this song existed when I bought Daybreaker. I now have both the original and deluxe versions because of this song.
these dudes are TOO FRICKING REAL. finally some metal i can truly get pissed with
This is the single most intense lyrics video I've ever seen holy shit
my favorite song of architects
The video design is FUCKING AWESOME!!!
It seems very hard to make.
Eddie Yen Yes it is very hard and awesome like the song!!
This song played live is absolutely mental, really impressive!
this song still manages to give me the chills, masterpiece
most underrated architects song in my opinion!
I've grown away from this type of music but Architects always drags me back.
Another flawless song.
Guys, you never disappoint. The song is mindblowing. I've been following you since Hollow Crown, and there is no song from you I'd skip! I am always looking forward to new releases. You guys are the best band in the world, please don't stop making music you're doing it good. Greetings from Slovakia!!
AWESOME song and i think the most beautiful lyrics video!!!!
wow this so awesome just discovered today because somebody told me about them love it
repeat all fucking day!!!!
the way he growls "bloooood" before the chorus...............goosebumps every time
I must admit I feel a bit like a hypocrite... I have studied for many years, and can now officially call myself a Petroleum Engineer. I work in the oil industry, and make all my money of of it... But I have been listening to Architects permanently along the way of this educational journey and I really enjoy their music, and many of their songs! Especially the lyrics!
You see, the thing is that even though a lot of the song are kinda "environmentally expressive" and that is one of the things Architects really stand for, these lyrics can relate to so much more!
Just dig a little deeper and I find myself again and again inside their lyrics, on a deeper personal level that is! I guess a lot of you will absolutely not agree with me, and call me a hypocrite, but I wouldn't put it that way!
Architects are more than an awesome band with awesome songs/lyrics! They give people strength and motivation, when nothing else seem to push you further! And for that, they are my favorite band and will probably always be...! Ironic isn't it, but very true!
As of the "LF//LT album" - Gravedigger, Naysayer and Youth is wasted on the Young are my absolute favorites, so if you don't understand what I am trying to tell you with the text above, listen to those songs and read their lyrics ! Then you might change your mind.
Can't wait to see them Live in Concert - 22.March - Oslo Norway!
I have to say I am in a similar situation. I have always wanted to be a structural geologist involved in petroleum work and i have succeeded in doing that but i have listened to Architects since the ruin album and i have never felt like a hypocrite. They just uplift me, even with songs such as black blood where i should feel guilty. Most people don't understand the work that we do and could easily turn around and call us hypocrites but that would be missing the point of the song and their message.
Anyway, i just wanted to share, love what i do. Love Architects too.
Have fun on the 22nd March. I see them tomorrow in Manchester. Take it easy
Phil Smith Thats cool mate! Was they amazing ? What songs were palyed from the new album ? :-)
i cant relate to any of that, im just a student on his way to becoming an engineer, but i aint gonna call you a hypocrite just because you work in the thing this song is an anti off, people who do call you a hypocrite, well lets put it this way, we all are a bunch of hypocrites, we all listen to these kind of songs and we just say 'yes thats so true' but in the end we do nothing with it, we just go on with our lives, slaves till we die bound by our duty to work, as long as you dont become one of the greedy ones suffering from his need to want more, because thatll make you blind and one of the contributer of the downfall of us all, the reason its called blackblood is because people die everyday for oil .... oil means money, money will atract greedy ones, greedy ones will go over corpses to gain what they want more but allready have.... the thing ive been thinking about alot lately is that ... what if we were simply a parasite on this planet ? i mean we grew big surviving of the resources of the earth and now we are draining and destroying them, thats what a parasite does right ? ... but yeah, point of this text is that we all are hyporcites pointing our fingers at all the things that are wrong but then go on and pay for the end product, oh and if you like these kind of lyrics you should check out enter shikari and rise against, enter shikari is more technocore (try destabilize, radiate and i really like system meltdown) and rise against is more punkish, (try survivors guilt, hero of war and i really like prayer of the refugee)
kaszilla Well said man! Rise Against is already one of the reasons I discovered Architects - They warmed up in Oslo for Rise Against 2010. I know more Rise Against lyrics than Architect ones ;) Btw, the concert was amazing, and I got the signings of Tom, Ali, Dan, Sam on my record as well! It was awesome!
We just have to admit not everyone can have it, and be selfish, no equality and diversity to save resources.
Cant believe i just now discovered this song!!! Brilliant song, so much energy and such a strong message. Love Architects so much
to this day, this is the best song they ever did man. what an absolute rager.
How is that Architects always has the best riffs
Imagine listen to this and then Black lungs 2021, damn! This band never disapoints
i love you guys and i want to see you live again!!
Broke my keyboard while I was headbanging to this song.
Haha made my day!
This is one of the bands who deserve much more than they're given! We saw them live in Slovenia with While She Sleeps and Heights. That single show changed us both as musicians and people...
PLEASE RESTART PLAYING THIS SONG LIVE
Yes I would be so pumped if they played this in Seattle in march.
Shane Federmeyer hey I was at that show. it was kick ass
Yes man...yesterday in Prague they played it! Fuckin kickass song
Pavel Arnyy they played it yesterday in munich and I screamed like a little girl :D
they do :)
So good riffs, so provocative lyrics .. so awesome song !!! i like it so much !! thank you Architects !
we consumed 50% less energy than the year before! i know one person alone cannot save the world but together we can do it !!! let's make this earth a better place !!!!!
:)
One of the best lyric-videos i've ever seen! And a cool song too.
It's so heart breaking...
I just need to listen to this song from time to time...
architects at its fucking finest
AMAZING! Great great great song!
2:40 to 3:06 always give me chills
hell yeah
The emotion he adds to it is wordless.
even the video editor knows what they feel about...
I just love how the heart stops beating at the end with the atmospheric tone with the guitar
"We've found the cancer inside of our heads No turning back now We're as good as dead"
Still getting worse
Such amazing video! And fantastic song as well!
Rest in peace brother
cant stop listening to it.....so awesome!! great work! another spectacular music :D
This moment when you realize, that "True friends" (Bmth) isn't the most agressive lyrics-video.. This song is amazing :)
That is a great song: featuring wonderful mastering & band performance. The lyrics encourage you to think, and of course - Architects unique sound signature.
Well done!
We've found a taste for self-destruction
A blind eye for blatant dysfunction
We've found a taste for self-destruction
We're all born in black blood
There's an imminence stirring like a siren singing
There's a debt to pay but they keep on drilling
Why is simple truth so hard to tell
We had eden and turned it into hell
Born in black blood
Because this distance in our minds
Is the distance that we're behind
I can't forgive, we won't forget
I can't forgive, we won't forget
The lonely sound of the final drip
Like the starting gun marking the end of it
On the shoulders of forever
It's a long way to fall
Black gold will be the death
The death of us all
Black drought, word will spread
Of the time we found what the earth bled
Born in black blood
Because this distance in our minds
Is the distance that we're behind
I can't forgive, we won't forget
I can't forgive, we won't forget
[x2]
Black drought, word will spread
Of the time we found what the earth bled
We found the cancer inside of our heads
There's no turning back now
We're as good as dead
When the well dried up no one cared
But when hell shows up, they'll all stop and stare
[x2]
We've found the cancer inside of our heads
No turning back now
We're as good as dead
[x2]
I can't forgive, we won't forget
[x4]
We won't forget
+Screep5 sorry about distrubing you, but i just wanna put it here for my own practicing :)
un excellent groupe metalleux original et qui décoiffe ,production imparable ,impressionnant d'énergie musicale ,fabuleux

Still the best lyric-video, I've ever seen! Keep up the great work.
I'm so sad this isn't on Spotify :(
+DiTzZ it is now
Capity Capitylol YAAY, thank you for telling me :)
***** This song isn't even on the album, so fuck off and mind your own fucking business.
+DiTzZ Yes, it is...
trickshit It wasn't a year ago, assface
that's true. They write extremely heavy songs, but when they write soft songs, they will be the most beautiful and meaningful thing you've ever heard.
Someone here after Animals?
While their new album is cool, I like their heavier and more complex material
I like your propic bro
Hell yeah! Seeing this live was incredible and inspiring. Great song, great message.
2021? 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Excellent song by an excellent band!!!!!!
please make this available on UK itunes!!
absolutely amazing
1:20 is so fucking good I think I am about to cry
you are totally awesome, Architects. I love you so much, you're a great inspiration to me.
That breakdown at 3:17😍😍😍😍🤤
What I don't understand in the first place is how people can actually complain about Architects not sounding like Hollow Crown anymore. Whoever does doesn't see the big picture.
Those guys are the brains behind the music and the least we can do is accept what they do. I have every album of them even the one where Sam wasn't in the band yet and what I see now is a fucking massive evolution for the best in every aspect of the band.
Now stop hating and enjoy their work. They deserve recognition!!!
Why is it so hard for humanity to unite?
If we all came together, the hell wouldn't show up, instead we could create heaven on earth for everyone in this reality that we know exists. Instead of them trying to feed people a hope of a heaven so that they accept the shit reality that they are all living.
One day, we will get there.
Just incredible.
Architects❤️
Нихуя себе, ты кто бля
can't wait to see these guys for the third time in december. favorite band without a doubt.
"We had Eden and turned it into Hell"...genius, why do people listen to Pop auto tune shit, this is music.

The drums, blew my mind. I must have listened from 0.57 to 1.10 about two dozen times already
TESLA motors just released all their electric patents to the public. Change is on the way.
Such a good song and band. I love Sam's scream and Dan and Tom are beast on there instruments.
The only band that doesn't have "hate" comments at the top.
after lost forever/ lost together, this is still my favourite architects song!
+Alex Bull Lost Forever//Lost Together is the name of the album
+Alec Ramsey I'm sure he means after the release of Lost Forever // Lost Together, his favourite song is still Black Blood
+Alec Ramsey Yooooo Node is a fucking kick ass album
Why isnt this on spotify?
What an amazing lyric video
Anyone else here after listening Black Lungs? :)
Insane, just absolutely incredible, Architects you have done it again
quarantine everyone?
Just keeps getting better and better..
Architects is still my favourite band in 2021. FTTWTE is a masterpiece
I just started listening to this band. Gotta say I live their music and the meanings in each song.
This specific song seems to be about oil. Saying we rely on it so much despite it being finite. And governments will do anything for oil. For instance the war in the middle east is all about who gets the oil. The united states, terrorists, or the Russian federation.
This song is amazing
