- Sonic Unleashed real widescreen 1080p gameplay. Speedrun of Windmill Isle Day Act 2 (Apotos Day 2). I think this is the best quality on UA-cam! I would love to capture this at 60 fps, but the game runs at 30 fps, so I got what I got. It looks spectacular nonetheless.

I like how the Wii version of Unleash sorta did it's own thing with the boost. The boost sorta work like how boosting in F-zero X/GX works. Another thing I like is unlike the hd version, Sonic can still spin dash in this version. The boost style of this version, and the fact you can spin dash gives me idea for potential future implements of the boost formula for future sonic games. Such as you still use this version of the boost, but you can Spin dash to keep the momentum of the boost. It's sorta like how drop dash works, but instead of jumping and landing while spinning in high speed, you boost and then spin dash.
Only problem is that you can only do that when starting the act.

I think the Boost can work like this except you can hold the button down to continue Boosting. I’d nerf it though, so that you need to be at a high enough speed already to use it. The Spin Dash can therefore allow you to gain that speed. Combining this with use the drifting animation from Generations will allow you to charge up a Spin Dash whilst drifting, allowing it to function like a mini-turbo in Mario Kart. Also combining it with the Stomp can provide similar results as Stomp > Boost without draining any energy (almost like the Drop Dash if you will).

I think Sonic Unleashed Wii could have run the same version the 360 and PS3 does, but with a graphics downgrade...

The dump frames feature on the Dolphin emulator.
How is it possible? You can't play games on this emulator because it's too slow

Christmas of 2012 was the day I got this game on PS2. That's how I remember the date.

In the gaia temples ,more medals you have more doors will open for you. there you can find maybe 2 1-up s

I must say man this was great dude hopefully you can get the xbox or ps3 versions some time there harder to speed run cause there are so many techniques you must do to get a good time
Thanks! I think it's unlikely that I get both the console with the game and a capture device. At best, I could probably record some videos at my friend's.

and to think this was the version that sold the most of the 4
I really hate it how they made the wii version just like the ps2. Why did they do that? The wii was back then the newest nintendo home console.
Wii's hardware was closer to PS2 than an Xbox or PS3. The PS2 and Wii version were made by Dimbs. Wii hardware wouldn't be able to handle Xbox graphics or level design

The Wii's components are better than a ps2 not by much. Sonic Colors was mostly 2D so that's why the graphics look better a bit better. Plus, they knew how to take advantage of the Wii's hardware
The Wii was released 3 days before the 360.. But the Wii's hardware is inferior compared to an Xbox 360.
How's it stupid Newer doesn't always mean faster? Same goes for OLD in this case since the Wii was made before the xbox 360.

I usually just put the sound effect volume to 20% and let music 100% , also if this game had the ps3 graphics (the map designs where it actually seemed you race throught the town and that it's not a premade racing track for you to run, run into cafes, small alleys) and was also as fast as the ps3 version which when you press the boost button u only think "wtf is happening" then this game would be even better, I also prefer the "GO" and "WOOH" rather than "GRRRAH RRAAR WOORAH" these 2 games combined would have made a generations experience, but I love them both as much as colors and generations even though those 2 stories from the games where weak as hell compared to Unleashed

hey, at least it's fairly balanced with the boost formula, making you boost only whenever enemies are around, or RINGS!

This was my first time ever seeing the Wii version, and I'm highly disappointed. This is so boring compared to the other Sonic games on the Wii. It seems like Sega didn't even try with the Wii version, and just said the only thing that matters is the money

grant That's because it was ported from the PS2 version. SEGA was lazy, in my opinion they could have just made it like the 360 and PS3 with a graphics downgrade
