This almost came out a year ago and I'm bit upset that I haven't known this was created. Damm this one so good. You even had Sonic running in the background exactly at the moment in the song in the game. Awesome! Definitely!

This sounds like the middle between the actual intensity theme of windmill isle stage and the windmill isle hub area day. As if Sonic runs through the level without the boost just to chill for a while.
It felt like it fitted that vibe kind of perfectly, such a chill and jazzy piece when played this way

this cover is amazing, you guys outdid yourselves. If you dont mind me asking what are the chords for the rythm guitar, the only ones i could pick apart were, Amin7, D7add9, Gmin7, C7add9, and I think there is an Fmaj.
Hey there. You've got a fair bit of the main section, but it changes a bit.
Initially, its almost what you said. Am7 - D9 - Gm7 - C7b9. After that it changes to what you said, Am7 - D9 - Gm7 - C9.
In the new section (not sure what to call it) there's a bit more going on.
Bbmaj7 - Bb/C - Am7 - D7b9
Dm/G - Bbm/C - Am7 - D7b9
Which repeats, replacing the Am7 and D7b9 at the end with the Fmaj you noticed.
Finally, in the last section, its a repeating
Am7 - D7b9 - Gm7 - C7b9
