Question to all: I had a Filipino friend travel to the Philippines last month and back to USA last night (4/5/2024). She said that she had to pay 50 pesos or $1 per luggage at NAIA airport when entering and leaving the Philippines. What is this payment for? This is not a payment for luggages helper.

    I admire philippines immigration system
    Its wonderful
Foreigners even legal immigrants cant own land
In usa even illegal migrants can own land and banks will give them loans to buy it
In philippines you insult flag country culture society history etc you will be deported and blacklisted
In usa many foreigners have tv shows where they do just that and are paid
In philippines you overstay your visa your are fined and pay back fees and if you dont , off to jail
In usa overstay no problem only 2% chance of getting caught and deported
And you can voluntarily leave , no fines
No green card scams in philippines
In philippines you have 13a visa spouse, your spouse dies, even after 40 years , so does your visa , back to 9a tourist
In usa after 2 years you keep green card even if divorce or spouse dies
I have never heard of an illegal alien deleting a filipino
In usa happens all the time
    No sanctuary cities in philippines
    Etc etc etc
    The philippines protects its citizens
They keep foreigners on a tight leash
    Outstanding system admirable

Very informative. Thank you! Are there items that are not available in the Philippines that would make great gifts for friends when I arrive? In my previous trips to other places I have brought things like peanut butter, which in some parts of the world is virtually impossible to find.

So, I'm planning to fly to visit Philippines in a few months. This will be my first time.
So I understand that all I need to go to Philippines and enter into Philippines is a passport, a return plane ticket and fill out the E-Travel form online?? I'm gonna be in Philippines for only about 4 days.
Is anything else required I need to do??
Do I need to bring medical records??
Do I need to pay medical insurance? If so then how much??

Thank you for your wonderful videos. In 1926 Woman "A" was born in Cagayan (North) Province to a Fil. national mother and a US national father; Woman A's father was a so-called "Thomasite," a group of professional teachers, non-Fil. nationals, who emigrated to the Fil. in the post-WW1 era to teach Fil. nationals. When born, Woman A's biological parents were married. Woman A moved to the USA post WW2, married a US national and birthed children in the US. Woman A took no official step to give up her Fil. national status. Was Woman A ever a dual-citizen and did she ever lose dual-citizen status? Of greatest interest: can Woman A's children claim dual-citizen status today?

Under EO 48 , United States citizens don’t need a visa for the initial 30 days of stay right, but how are we gonna extend if no visa needed in the first place but then you mentioned to pay the fine if it’s >30days? Also, it confuses me about the return ticket should not be more than 30 days and then may be extend when in the Philippines? Why are we gonna extend it but will go home in 30 days anyways initially?

Thanks. I am a US citizen planning on visiting the Philippines this year. Is it better to go for the 59 day tourist visa OR just do the 30 day and extend when I get there? If I extend I also would then change my return flight date it seems since must have my return flight booked before I get the 30 day, yes? Is the extension of the 30 days another 30 days?

I’ve tried contacting your embassy near me (Washington, DC). But they didn’t respond. I’m aware that my meds are illegal in some parts of the world. And controlled substances in others. Why do you specifically mention US when the same rules applies to all foreign nationals? Is there any preference for US citizens over others? Or do you feel that it's a priviledge to mention US in your vlog? By the way, this is not news to me. Everyone knows that a passport should carry a validity period of upto 6 months and this applies when visiting all other countries. And also Etravel is not something new. This was introduced just after the pandemic. You are just creating videos just to attract subscribers. And by the way, EO 408 was introduced on November 2014 and there is a whopping 157 countries included with this. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
