Well, you did it, one of the things Bringus Studios never made... Oh and btw funny enough, you can't buy a Steam Deck in Switzerland, you can buy a 64GB on one website but it is the price of a PS5, for less power and less storage
Yes but it is pain in the ass, you can order it in France but you need to know where you can pick it up, be able to cross the border with it and find a VPN
7:15 it doesn't really do it anymore, but at first (at least, the og one did) when you switched to desktop mode you'd briefly see it in portrait, and then it would rotate
I think the Steam Deck logo is akin to a Dell logo or HP Logo; I admittedly know very little about computers aside from basic Linux stuff, but every OS I’ve ever used, so just modern Linux distros and modern Windows, can detect the hardware/brand. I imagine it’s either talking with the BIOS/Firmware/Motherboard, something like that, to get told the hardware/brand/supplied logo. Same as my desktop, just with a Steam Deck logo instead of a Dell logo.
@ i knew it did that with hardware manufacturers (OEMs), and had already made the connection, but i thought it was because they changed a file in the actual OS. I'm just as likely to be wrong, though
Btw letting you know you dont actually need a keyboard for gparted. You can just spam enter and youll get in the gui where you can use either the trackpad or touchscreen
this video made me come to the channel and the windows 7 forest video made me sub you are like bringus but you post when bringus doesnt both you and bringus deserver so much more subs
Let us know when windows drivers are out for steam deck oled and do another video I am just still using the steam os and I wanted to dual boo but no drivers are out for the oled so still waiting patiently but still enjoying the steam os I'm not going to lie it's pretty good
I spent about a week getting dual boot to work on my SD LCD. I ended up giving both Windows and Steam OS small partitions... and then creating a 3rd shared partition for installing games. I don't remember how I got it to work, so I hope I never have to do it again because it sucked. ...and... I just use Steam OS 99% of the time. I feel some satisfaction about giving myself the option though. 😂
Bruh literally the first thing i did with my steam deck was play geometry dash lol Also, to activate windows i just used a product key one of my old laptops used
This guy is a cross between bringus studios and dankpods
True
I was half expecting this to devolve into a howtobasic video at some point.
Yeah I feel he takes inspo from dank pods. Great personality to take inspiration from
Dankpod Studios
Bringus pods
why did i think you were bringus studios for a sec
I found both of them at the same time, and I look forward to both of their videos lmao
@@nailington thats the same story for me too, i love both their vids
bringus 2
Me to

Buys a steam deck, plays geometry dash, installs windows, insane
Yeah quite mental
when the Steam Deck spins the fans and then shuts of it means it had a Kernel Panic
4:06 aww that takes me back! Mine came from the very first og batch
Mine came from the first of the OLED, very nice!
I love how the Camera IMMEDIATELY focused on the Wii U Gamepad

Man that’s really weird
I mean at least you can buy one in a neighboring European country right?
Yes but it is pain in the ass, you can order it in France but you need to know where you can pick it up, be able to cross the border with it and find a VPN
That intro better be in the best of 2024. Great video so far.
love seeing him have the exact same issues i had installing windows 11 on a steam deck oled
I never knew that the steam deck could do this much
THANK YOU
4:02 “your Wii U is acting up.”
Finally! I voted for this video like a week or two ago. Glad to see it finally released!

Sounds like hes speaking to himself 😭😭
wait why did windows boot up w/ the steam deck logo?? does it just have some magical way if detecting oem logos

i always thought that if i shutdown my device while installing smthing like a operating system its bricked
It will, but it may be possible to fix
Whhoooaa what? Tabs on the paper sleeve that the case comes wrapped in? I just slid the thing off mine. 🤔
wow that camera is "very good"
How does the USB connect to the Steam through a keyboard?
Awesome. Now dualboot windows 7 >:)
Also, this went fro Jiga Tech Tomfoolery, to Bringus Studios Jank, but in reverse.
He did something similiar
@@šokolataSK he did? I watch him all the time, what’s the title?
Btw letting you know you dont actually need a keyboard for gparted. You can just spam enter and youll get in the gui where you can use either the trackpad or touchscreen
you can literally just make a partition in the windows installer
I wanted to split the partition, which you can't do on the windows installer
@@JigaTech thank you for this information maybe it will come in handy in a few years
Did you ever get the wifi to work ? The alt adapter doesnt work for me sadge
Can you make a short video tutorial plz? Of this😂
Ya I had a really bad feeling this wouldn't be super easy, windows and anything else get grumpy trying to work together it seems.
Now install windows 7 on it.
Yes we need this
Will probably get stuck at the disk selection screen, because it probably won't have drivers for the internal drive
Assuming the steamdeck has ARM, I don't think that Windows 7 has an ARM version.
No if it was windows 11 would have to use w11 arm and he would say that on vid i think@@radio_marco
@@radio_marco The Steam Deck is x86, Steam doesn't have ARM support.

i heard steam is working to dual boot windows and steamOS on the steam deck, is that true?
as a fellow guy from MN it is very cold
The focus is going buhuhwuw
i have rog ally for week now i love it it could play any game at 120 hz and over all i am doing arcade games on this thing

The steam deck has OBS studio!?!?!?
It's on steam that's why
21:23 You can use the WIFI USB on windows
have a question....
Since l'm not realy a pc expert can you play
games on a non activated windows 11?
Yes
So what is the process to put the windows in the usb or so ?
Wait couldn’t you partition it from steamos desktop mode or no?
I tried that but it got cut from the video. It didn't work
My neighbour gave me that exact Apple keyboard a few months back
Your a smart guy ,I wish I was half as smart as I know nothing about computers
I almost thought you were michael mjd
Thought for sure you were bringus studios lol
waiting for bringus studios collab🔥
How does everything fail for jiga? Seriously just how did he need like 3 Linux distros and a crap lot of adapters

couldnt you install gparted on the steamos' desktop mode? or would that not work
i don't think it's available as flatpak
1:51 how did you not knew that from the LCD model?!?! edit: 8:56 thats when you pressed + instead of -
