thinking about doing this for our closets upstairs - we have a bank of closets on each side of the bedroom that following the roof hips so we are always banging our heads getting into the closet to get clothing etc. Essentially I will be making a large box (after removing the two sliding closet doors) and sliding that into closet space as sub structure and then making the sliding pull out cabinets. What kind of clearance do I need top and bottom for the sliders? Would it be the thickness of the complete slider plus 1/8 inch top and bottom so both sliders can be engaged smoothly? Really like this setup! I will be putting faces on the pullouts once I get my dimensions figured out -thank you!
Man remodels closet but still keeps plastic hangers!!! Even a few of those wire dry cleaning hangers 😱. Lads, get a 50 pack of beautiful bamboo hangers for under 45 dollars. It’s such a small upgrade that will add elegance to your space.
Love this
I’m loving it too!
Can you share what drawer slides you used?
Good idea 😊😊😊

You need 1/4” inch on top, at least 1/2” on bottom for sag and give if you mount sliders on the side like I did.
Thanks, and You had two sliders on each side I believe, yes?@@365greenhouse6
Love this! Did you also add a slide to the center piece on the open side of the closet?
Nope, the 2 heavy duty ones on the backside are 2x what I need:)
Great idea!
Whoa! Where are the blueprints

Those would typically be thicker and less space efficient.
