When you forgot what you were saying I was thinking oh I wanted to hear the rest of that, then I couldn't remember what it was I wanted to hear. 🤣
Yes comments like yours remind me that I have found my people! 🤣 Sometimes my mind wanders, as you can tell, glad I am not the only one. Thanks for sticking with me! 🌱💚
@@Houseplantygoodness Not long ago found you, I think it was Mr Sheffield who mentioned you but I couldn't swear to it. 😅
"Did the plant do what I wanted it to do? No!" 😂😂😂
Haha, plants have a mind of their own sometimes! 😆 Glad you enjoyed that moment! 🌿✨
Loved your video, it's like chatting with a friend while having plant therapy. 😀
Thank you so much! 😊 It means a lot to me that you feel that way. Plant therapy buddies forever! 🌿💚
I'm in South Africa and can't help smiling at 24°C. Here, that's cool weather.
Haha, Anwar! It's all about perspective, right? 😄 I am from a warm country too originally where summers are more like 48C, so I get it, 24C would have been cool for me too 😂😅 Glad to have you here from South Africa! 🙌🌍💚
@@Houseplantygoodness glad to be here. I love your videos. I learn so much 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I did some chores whilst watching along so thank you
Your begonia is furry and has a tail! I love it!
Isn't it adorable?! 🥰 I'm so glad you love it, Agnes! Begonias with character are the best! 🌸💚
I love this video format. I can care for my plants in the meantime and watch your plant chores as well.
I looked through my prop box today. An I the only one who is super impatient for them to root? I swear my biggest mistake with propagating plants is that I pot them up too early. I just want to get this plant started 😂
It was lovely to have you in the background as I did my Sunday chores, but not plant related, making ceramic tops for my new large beaker’s. It’s been cooler here today so hopefully I won’t have to water outside. Good luck to you with all your chores today and ever
day 🤣💚
Thanks, Mel! So glad to keep you company while you got creative with ceramics. 😊 Enjoy the cooler weather and best of luck with your beaker tops! 🌿💪
I don't reuse water because dealing with pests is my least favourite thing in the world
Love the video❤
I hear you, Agnes! Pests can be such a headache. 😩 Glad you enjoyed the video! ❤🌿

Great video. Fun to see how someone with lots of plants cares for all of them. (And doggo 🐕 and chickens!🐓 ). All the best . 😊
Thank you! 😊 It's a full house here with all the plants, the doggo, and the chickens! 🐕🐓🌿
What a joy you are. Thank you.
I so totally reuse the water, love I am not the only one ❤
You're definitely not alone, Renee! 😊 It's great to see so many of us practicing sustainability! 💧🌿 or in my case a bit of lazyness too 😅
I really enjoyed your plant chore vid! I love your begonia bonsai; I wouldn’t cut it. Thanks for sharing Memo!
Thanks, Carol! 😊 I appreciate your advice on the begonia bonsai. It's always hard to decide! 🌿💚
Lol my drip tray is also a cat litter tray, I make my water up in a 10 litre bucket and use a small watering can dipped in the bucket. I’m all for making my life easier, Sunday is also my main plant care day and I look forward to it being a chilled laid back day were I can just lose myself in the joy of it
very interesting video. Good to see how other people water. 🤔🤗
Thanks, Julie! 😊 It's always fun to share and learn from each other's plant care routines! 🌿💧
I propagate in semi-hydro and move to soil and every time it works great
Had a lovely afternoon doing planty chores whilst watching this. One quick question - do you add a weak liquid gold leaf feed to your regular watering schedule during the growing season?
I did get some paint pen thingies after you recommended them and they’re absolutely genius. I actually don’t put off treating mealy bugs now, because the brush is always ready to go. 👍🏻👍🏻
I always reuse water to conserve fertilizer 🇨🇦😁
That's awesome, Lisa! 🌿💧 Reusing water is such a smart and sustainable practice! 👍
❤❤
Thanks for the love, Arleen! ❤🌿
I should really try out some colder growing ariods, they'd probably love it here in San Francisco.
Thanks for tips! 💚💚💚
Your camera is so cool could you send me the link for it please and ty for all the good info
Thanks, Marie-Josee! 😊 Glad you found the info helpful! 📷🌿 My camera is: amzn.to/3znGat5 and the rotating device I use with it is: amzn.to/3L840eT
Hey Menno! I was wondering if you have ever used Silica for your plants, combined with Liquid Gold Leaf? And do you think adding a Cal/Mag supplement to the LGL fertilizer could benefit the plants, or would that just be overkill? Cheers ✌️😁
Hey Goonehh! ✌️ I had tried Silica with Liquid Gold Leaf for over a year, but to be honest I did not see much of an improvement on my plants, but maybe a different brand from the one I used might have different results. Cal/Mag supplements can be great, but I'd recommend testing a small amount first to see how your plants respond. Cheers! 🌿🌟
It was 106 F with the heat index today.
Wow, Sherry, that's scorching! 🥵 Stay cool and hydrated, and keep those plants happy! 🌿💦
What are the white marks on Anthurium leaves??? I have not found an answer to this yet.
The white marks on your anthurium leaves are dried mucilage from the cataphylls, which are protective coverings for new leaves. This mucilage helps protect the leaves as they unfurl and is completely natural. You can gently wipe it off, but it won't harm the plant. I learned that fact recently from an awesome instagram account called hortikult.official , I hope that helps 😊💚🌿
I tried to do some plant chores whilst watching, but as usual I got distracted and watered a grand total of 2 plants in that time 😏 I just got so absorbed in watching your chores and ogling the plants instead 🤣🤣🤣💚🪴
