As an England fan I think it’s more weird than anything the amount of hatred that Scotland, Ireland and Wales has for England.
England fans for the most part aren’t bothered about how Scotland,Ireland and Wales do either way. Probably because they aren’t seen as a threat, so are there for seen as pretty much irrelevant.

As a Welshman it often feels like we are a foreign team with the lack of coverage we get (and Yes I know that the English make up 85% of the British population.) I have nothing against the English team but the English media are something else.

When I was a kid, I always wanted the other home nations to do well too. It was only when I grew up and started to notice just how much they all hated England and wanted us to lose (at everything, not just football) that I changed, now I just don't care what they do and laugh at them when they inevitably screw up.

You know we're going to "fail" almost every time, right? The alternative is to win the tournament. All nations fail waaaaaaaaay more often than they don't. There's only been 16 Euros total, and TEN nations have won them. When there are that many potential winners, it's not that unusual for some of the stronger nations to have never won it before. Spain only relatively recently won The World Cup, and Euros. France went decades without winning a thing until things suddenly clicked for them during the late 90s/early 2000s. Let's see how long Wales "fail" for in comparison. 😂😂😂😂😂
