So it does record in mirror veiw? Does it record both front and back? Do you need wifi or will it just record once the car is on?
I have a more complete video up on UA-cam answering most questions. It does record in mirror mode, it requires both front and back. But it only records when the key is on.
I just got mine installed today, I totally agree I love it, one of my BestBuys, lol ❤

Yes, it saved my azz. A car hit me and tried to run, I caught up with them, After a short conversation, I had to inform him that I a rear car cam. The only thing he said was, "all shit". So I will be getting.

It can. But it needs to be hardwired.

Has good features but still lacking some features such as live view or cloud storage. Also, it would be helpful if it had a parking function.
The parking function requires hard wiring
I had one of these before. Wait until you use it in snowy cold weather outside. It won't work until you cabin heats up.
I'm in Toronto Canada. zero issues for me. Turns on every time.
I am in Toronto also. That was almost 5 years ago. Has to be freezing cold outside and LCD has no display until about 5min later. May be they work better now.

No. Not worth the try. Screen is call Liquid Crystal Display if you know how liquid does in your fridge.@@sadhaka7

Yeah. It’s not bad at 1080. But that was awhile ago. Now I use a 4K dashcam :) crisper license plate views
the only complaint i have about these is that it does not display lanes when you are reversing nor does it have a sensor to indicate you are getting too close.

Will the camera still capture good video while shooting through a 5% tinted window?
On the rear I’m assuming. It will be dark and difficult to read the plates. You could mount the camera closer to the 3rd brake light and maybe it would be easier if there is no tint. Or cut a small piece out for it

Only when it’s on but you can add a kit to have it always on and not use up the battery much

Yes. You can hit a video version of mute which vids the controls and makes it a working mirror while still recording.

Yes. It can get power from the reverse lights and if you mount the camera near the license plate, you’ll get a good view.

Cloud? Nope. It stores on a sd card. It only records when the car is running
My openion, it serves the half purpose only. It would be best if usable when car is turned off and in parking, because some stupid people just cant bear and want to scratch your car paint while passing through.
You could use it that way but you’d need to hardwire it in.

They always record but you can press a button that saves a particular recording

Pormido dash cam is on point with it's Sony sensor chip set. great at night.
How about the sides? Does this cover enough of both sides of the car?
It could be wider but the lens can pivot and the mirror can move. Thats why I like it, I can point it in any direction I want

I’ve had it a couple of years now with no issues.
Stupid place to put it under the brake light as the glare will washout the footage when the brakes come on

Not to the phone but you can log into it with your phone and download the footage.

why is this an issue? I've only had to review footage when I got into an accident (which thankfully was only once in the last 7 years as a gig driver (knock on wood)) - plugging my dashcam into my computer wasn't a huge task & would prefer to edit on a larger screen...
The reviews aren't exactly glowing.
I think that it depends on your budget. It's worked well for me and is better than any viofo or cheap dashcam that I've bought.

Yes. The dashcam puts out a wifi signal and the phone connects to it. Then you use an app to see the dashcam contents.

So far it’s been good. There is no subscription. It uses a microSD card or you connect your phone to it with Bluetooth

I don't like it. I'm currently using a VIOFO A229 Pro it's way better, and the new sensor is just amazing.

Is it working on 2010 Toyota Corolla car?
Dashcams work on any car they connect to the cigarette lighter or to your battery terminal or fuse box. The easiest installation is with the cigarette lighter but it only records when the car ignition is on.
What the app for the phone do ?
It allows you to see the video files without removing the microSD card. You can also transfer the video files directly to your device

nope. try looking at the AZDome m550 or the Vantru N5 - I have videos of both of them up on here.

No issues yet. Canadian summers aren’t crazy though. I’m going to make another video on it
Overtime, the battery inside puffs up due to the heat exposure and just needs battery replacements
I purchased the redtiger t27 and that uses a capacitor instead of a battery and it survived the arizona heat

I’m not a fan of cabin cameras but I did review a VanTrue N5 that had two. And one of the upcoming dashcams might have it too.
It would be absolutely perfect if it recored inside the car as well 😢
