I have the XDT13 and black XDT15. Love them both. Not the most powerful but definitely most comfortable. And as you say, refined performance. MAKITA just makes all around some of the highest quality tools. Cool to see a new series my man. Stay safe my friend
This is a great driver. The only word I can use to describe it is " smooth ". For lags and such the xtr, flex, and Milwaukee are in their own category.
Depends on what you will be doing and need. if you don't need max power, then i usually reach for the XDT18 mainly bc it's a bit more compact. Hanging it on the toolbelt, less weight helps. If you're screwing in a lot of deck screws, lags, or bolts, then the XDT14 will be better

true statement! All around they make the tools i like using. Not out there to win any testing benchmarks but do what the user needs.
I use this impact daily, along with the sub compact. they are the bet IMO. great tools. Im excited to see how they stack up against others.
Right on
Makita’s Td172 is the king in the e18v field.

xdt14z and xdt18zb, you must choose one of these two, which one will be better? Thank you
