I just did this and the difference is night and day. The car drifts effortlessly now, and is easier to control going straight too. I was thinking of doing the oneway front diff swap but this may be all i need honestly. Thanks!🎉
…best and easiest is as mentioned hot glue…but what many doesnt knew it is very easy removable…just drop a little methylated spirit, chemical technical gasoline, electronic cleaner such as Teslanol…(what i used for decades!)…it creeps in between in a couple of minutes and the hot glue almost fall off…leaving no marks or residues at all and doesnt destroy the plastic parts if any…in an small and complicated structure as the little diff there will be crumbs leftover of course…but it all just to rinse off…test it and yes…it is a game changer to know this…to shield/mount and/or protect circuit boards, antenna mounts, cords and so on…knowing its this easy to remove!…
Was this worth doing?? Do you like it better now or before?? I like that it’s reversible instead of just glueing it. I’m about to try this one and the front one way is coming soon👌🏻
Hey, I like this specific way to mod it since you can go back to open diff, I tried it out and it works perfectly! But I got a question: will you do counter steer mod with this diff? I really wanna see it because I don’t want to spend the money to buy the aluminum one and mod it but at the same time I don’t know how to do it with the stock diff😅

This works brilliantly! Thanks for sharing, this has made my MA020 even better. What a genius idea to use the masking tape so it's non-destructive.
You guys are rich
I did it with glue.
Yours is better since you can go back to the regular one.
I still do not regret my choice 😃

Will this method work on the rwd to?

100% worth it for drifting. Really helps the car start a drift and maintain the slide. The open diff will always be trying to straighten out the car.

I had plans to make a counter steer set up but I could not get it to drive correctly, so I never made the video.
Hi, good video made! May slow a bit your sub titles, it was top fast to be read...👍
good stuff!
