Except for my pistol grip, my setup is identical. I ordered the MXT extension but could not find a way to make it fit. Also the forearm Magpul is, in my opinion, not worth it. The heat shield is so close to the front it’s not possible to add a pic rail without sliding the shield to back. The coupling front already has a built in M-lok rail so i use it for my light. I should have qualified that i use the ghost sight and it works well without a co-witnessing scope . . . AND I’m only able to load 6 +1. I was under the impression i could load 1 more 2 3/4” shell. Thanks.
Just one other question can ypu put a flashlight underneath the handguard or just on the sides of it, does the heatshield insode the handguard prevent ypu from doing so thanks
I recently purchased one but I realized the one i purchased did not come with a choke, what choke should I buy for this weapon? It's interchangeable so I'm able to switch out chokes
I keep the choke tube supplied with the gun (either C or IC depending on when yours was packaged) because they both allow for good pellet spread in your home self defense ranges, and allow for using slugs. DO NOT SHOOT SLUGS THROUGH ANY CHOKE TIGHTER THAN IMPROVED CYLINDER!!! I bought an Optima extended modified choke tube ($60) for bird hunting. Using your defensive shotgun for bird hunting is a great way to practice shooting fast from a ready position, reloading fast, port loading, etc.
Nice review, I’m now in the process of doing the exact same build with FDE stock and foreground on black 1301, Holosun optic, extended mag extension and magpul FDE sling , should be a badass gun lol
Nice build. Stay with the extension magazine tube cover and clamp. Yes, the end cap is polymer over a metal tube--but the replacement clamp will scratch the anodization off your barrel through normal usage; and the newer factory extended tubes are much better for function and peace of mind than the add-on extends. One solid magazine, rather than two pieces with a small gap that could interfere negatively when you least need it to.

NICE VIDEO AND SHOTGUN BUILD. HOW DOES IT GROUP AT 50 YARDS WITH SLUGS? ALL CAPS BECAUSE I AM HARD OF HEARING.... :-)
Sweet shotgun man. I’ve been trying to track one down.
Nice work on the upgrades 👊🏼
Which CROM mount did you use with the Vortex?

Will this stock and handguard fit on a beretta 1301 comp aswel or just on a beretta 1301 tactical thanks
good question the stock will I don't know about the handguard.

Thanks for the info I'm definitely staying with the factory tube.
Great review ... excellent shotgun ..
Awesome setup, I just received my 1301 this week and looking for some ideas and I'm really liking yours. What model is the red dot?
It's a Vortex Crossfire Gen 1
Which choke you used.??
I've been wanting one of these for a long time but Uncle Biden is taking every extra dollar I have in gas money and food.
