Seeing people like Jlo reach 50 and never revealing their beauty secrets make it seem like they have access to resources that the average woman does NOT. We Greeks believe that Crete is worth spending a good deal of time on since it is so diverse and so big. So, next time you come to Greece, opt for spending your whole vacation on Crete. The south part of the island is out of this world! So many places to see and magical beaches to visit 😘🌸❤️

@@TheZahra110 if you love natural beauty, then, you’re going to love Alonnisos. I keep returning there every other summer. Just can’t help it!! And I’ve been to several places around my country. I’ve also been to Sanorini but I wouldn’t visit again. Beautiful, but just for one visit. You can’t enjoy the beaches because of the volcanic nature of the island. The sea is dark and I inviting with the exception of two beaches which are crowded and just ok. The final choice is yours, of course, but check out Alonnisos

It took me right back there and allowed me to relive the trip I did with my husband for my 50th. One thing that stood out to me … well a lot did LOL … but the food. The tomatoes and cucumbers tasted like tomatoes I used to eat as a child right out of my grandmother’s garden! And the octopus … totally agree … dee-lish! Happy Belated Birthday!

We just came back from Chania, Crete on Sunday. The beaches there are so beautiful, this was our second vacation this year in the same place. Right across the street from Domo hotel there is a restaurant Kuzina Galeria that has the best food we tried in Agio Apostolis.

Haven't been back to Greece for 3 years now after living there for 28.5 years. Best place to holiday in the world if I may say so lol!!!Can't wait to go back as I have my apartment in northern Athens. Santorini and Mykonos are very familiar as I have been there countless times. Stunning!!

Indeed. It’s off the beaten paths in the strange villages in Crete in particular (“the cradle of civilization” as they won’t let you forget. We enjoy staying in the hotels that cater to French and German tourists (not boutique at all but we aren’t in the rooms much) but still wonderful hospitality and interesting archeological sites. I’m sure you’ll return soon enough!

In September I spent 15 days in Greece, Italy, and Austria with my husband and grown son and we each just took a carry on and it worked out great. Such a lovely and eventful vacation. The people in Greece were just so welcoming and helpful. In some ways it was my favorite place. But we had fun everywhere. Turned 60 in Vienna, heaven!!

Was it really hot there? Do I need hiking boots, as we plan to do alot of walking trips and some hiking? Also do we need a converter plug for our phones, watches, etc? Ty for such a great video! Lovely. Santorini is beautiful, been twice. I did a sunset cruise on a mini galleon type sailing boat and it was amazing, also seen sunset at Oia twice, and Fira many times. Worth noting that eating out with a sunset view comes at a price ! Been to Chania too, also very pretty. Mykonos I haven't been too. I recommend Kalami in Corfu. Corfu is more rustic and green. Kephalonia is also stunning. Glad you enjoyed it. X

I love Greece! I have a travel agent (she's my cousin) but I research and I plan everything. I only ask her to book the parts that will give her a commission. For example, I research hotels, send her 3-4 choices and ask her to book the one she thinks is best. Great video!

Your beautiful VLOG stirred up so many memories for me. We visited in 2018, my daughters and I. We did a similar trip to you. We stayed in each place for 4 days, starting in Athens. We then went on to Naxos, Santorini and ended in Crete. So much of what you've shown here, has brought back so many lovely memories, especially all the cats. Happy 60th Angie xx

I'm so glad that you spent time on each of the islands. We took a cruise and only had a few hours at each port of call. We loved the donkeys! Our 16 and 10 year old sang goofy songs the whole way up! Ok...maybe my husband and I did too! On Mykonos we had the best ice cream, at the time we were living in Italy and had Gelato at out fingertips! We all did something different there. The night market was a very cool experience and my husband and son stumbled (very briefly) upon a nude beach at sunset 😅😅😅, imagine my husband's surprise when he saw our son encamped with a nude family enjoying their evening meal as the sun went down. My husband said he (our 10 year old) only noticed that the little kids were naked, not the adults 😅🤣😂🤣😅! Thank you for a marvelous trip down memory lane!

Make sure you have a jacket for the evenings. At this time of year it's best to be safe than sorry especially on Mykonos and Santorini.
In September I spent 15 days in Greece, Italy, and Austria with my husband and grown son and we each just took a carry on and it worked out great. Such a lovely and eventful vacation. The people in Greece were just so welcoming and helpful. In some ways it was my favorite place. But we had fun everywhere. Turned 60 in Vienna, heaven!!
I'm convinced... I'm going to Greece. Your trip was the ultimate getaway and I'm so appreciative of you sharing it with us!

I'm planning a trip to Greece in August with my sister, our first international trip! It's our bucket list, and sooo excited. My question, did you have to convert any currency? Was it really hot there? Do I need hiking boots, as we plan to do alot of walking trips and some hiking? Also do we need a converter plug for our phones, watches, etc? Ty for such a great video! Lovely. Santorini is beautiful, been twice. I did a sunset cruise on a mini galleon type sailing boat and it was amazing, also seen sunset at Oia twice, and Fira many times. Worth noting that eating out with a sunset view comes at a price ! Been to Chania too, also very pretty. Mykonos I haven't been too. I recommend Kalami in Corfu. Corfu is more rustic and green. Kephalonia is also stunning. Glad you enjoyed it. X

I love Greece! I have a travel agent (she's my cousin) but I research and I plan everything. I only ask her to book the parts that will give her a commission. For example, I research hotels, send her 3-4 choices and ask her to book the one she thinks is best. Great video!

Your beautiful VLOG stirred up so many memories for me. We visited in 2018, my daughters and I. We did a similar trip to you. We stayed in each place for 4 days, starting in Athens. We then went on to Naxos, Santorini and ended in Crete. So much of what you've shown here, has brought back so many lovely memories, especially all the cats. Happy 60th Angie xx

I'm so glad that you spent time on each of the islands. We took a cruise and only had a few hours at each port of call. We loved the donkeys! Our 16 and 10 year old sang goofy songs the whole way up! Ok...maybe my husband and I did too! On Mykonos we had the best ice cream, at the time we were living in Italy and had Gelato at out fingertips! We all did something different there. The night market was a very cool experience and my husband and son stumbled (very briefly) upon a nude beach at sunset 😅😅😅, imagine my husband's surprise when he saw our son encamped with a nude family enjoying their evening meal as the sun went down. My husband said he (our 10 year old) only noticed that the little kids were naked, not the adults 😅🤣😂🤣😅! Thank you for a marvelous trip down memory lane!
