Absolutely. Real leather has dyes, and natural oils just like our skin. If you use it at this dilution you're asking for trouble. 16:1 is effective and causes minimal damage.
@@Intimidat0n Let’s day you use a good leather conditioner after cleaning with SuperClean diluted 5:1…would that make cleaning next time less damaging to the leather?
You never want the leather be shiny ... that means that you have a lot of body oils and residue in the leather. Shiny seat means dirty seats. Even if you buy a brand new car there is never shiny leather seat always dull kinda matte finish.
Oxyclean interior leather care is the best for me, I have some rips so of course it won’t be 100 percent perfect but it’s the one with the can and the scrubber on top of the can
Talk about detailing on a budget. Super clean and dish soap? WTF. Not my car. If you’re a professional you should know. I only use P&S express interior and AMMO lather on my customers cars. Try your method on Lexus leather and you’ll be paying for new upholstery.
@@illusionzautoi just bought a gallon of p&s express today. Is it just the APC or is there a specific leather cleaner made by them that I should buy too?
You're using way too much super clean and it will bite you at some point if you're using it on customers leather! If you must use it for leather - 16:1 is just as effective and much safer. Give it a shot!
Out of all the videos I looked up this one gave me the most information thank you so much for making this video
How?
Finally! Thank you for making this video!
will it get smells out of the foam/leather?
How you get what’s inside the holes tho ? I’ve been looking for videos. Can’t find any ?
Same . I’m confused how stuff get into the holes
Stop using non designated leather cleaners
So the brush doesn’t scratch the leather?
Not if it’s Boars hair.
Great job! Does super clean damage leather at all?
Absolutely. Real leather has dyes, and natural oils just like our skin. If you use it at this dilution you're asking for trouble. 16:1 is effective and causes minimal damage.

@Sauron it will not. Just dilute your chemical properly and you should be fine. 16:1
Soap attracts dirt
Will this help leather that’s gotten shiny?
No it will not, it will kind of dull it a bit so after I'd apply some leather conditioner or vinyl to get the shine back on to the seat

his biggest mistake, using a steamer directly on the leather. p&s express interior is the best and safest

@FrequencyORD just the express interior is all you need. You can dilute it as well to variable strengths
I also use dishsoap
