dark souls games are the only games I willingly spent my time going through the credits and listening to the end music, after everything in the game hearing the end music in both DS1 and DS3 was a magical experience for me, also for whatever reason the end of Ringed City and the Painter questline were really beautiful to me, guess it soothed my existential crisis
The first time I played DS1 a couple years ago, I was blown away by the world design and atmosphere. It was the only Souls game I had played for a while up until this year. Since this year I've also played DS2, DS3, Bloodborne and Elden Ring and replayed all of them multiple times and I agree with you 100%, I have also become a simp for FromSoftware I feel like I literally can't play games made by anyone else anymore
