The Dhyana Sthala of Shankaraycharya is carved into a small rock, but still feels spacious and comfortable. Also, a small correction- Adi Guru Shankaraycharya's timeline is closer to 600 BCE (refer to the tradition and scholar Vedveer Arya), so the Mandir has to be older than 600 BCE (which makes it at least 2800 years old) Yesterday, I went to Martand Surya Mandir. It was MAGNIFICENT AND HUGE. But unfortunately, I couldnt find the entrance, and could not enter it. Proud to witness the scientific and Vedic Heritage of Bharat and these architectural feats. LOL Shankaracharya mentions the philosophy of mahayana buddhism, which didn't start evolving before 1st century bce. so no shankara did not live in buddha's or mahaveera's time. nor soon after that because no one and absolutely no one mentions him before 8th century ce even though contemporary historians and contemp. buddhist and other sources mention a lot of other philosophers, religious leaders etc. sorry, but sometimes you have to trust scholars. like when tradition places kukukshetra war at 3000 bce, but horse chariots did not exist in india before 2.000 bce after only it was possible because why? Because no trace of domesticated horse exists on the indian subcontinent before then. Also Kashmir was a major buddhist centre. Did you see any buddhist ruins there or have hindus simply appropriated them and turned them into hindu ones like they did in south india?

I'm a retired Chemistry / Mathematics teacher and used to tell my students short stories to make things interesting. One story was about India developing the zero. To know more about Kashmiri culture. I would recommend you to read books of famous philosophers of Kashmir like Abhinava Gupta. Books like Vignanabhairava tantra, Spanda karika, Shiva sutras, tantrallokam give detail knowledge of Kashmir's ancient wisdom. Do you know that Kashmir was the main centre of Shaiva agama, Advaita philosophy, tantra of Bhairava and Bharavi. Occult,etc.
Many Buddha's statues n stupas were also found during excavation in kashmir also. From Tibet scholars use to come to study buddhism to kashmir in those days.

If Hindi becomes a National language, those whose mother tongue is literally Hindi or closer to Hindi will have an unfair advantage. For the rest, it will be like learning a new language, even for exams like Science and Maths questions will be in Hindi, and for a Tamil student for example, will have to master both Hindi and Chemistry to answer a Chemistry paper. I don't need to say about Northeastern Languages. English is no one's mother tongue, that's why it is fair. But I agree, it's a coloniser's language. Recently I have visited Shrinagar which the locals call Srinagar just to prove there is nothing hindu in it. I insist all to visit Museum in Shrinagar which holds ancient sculptures of Shivling, Visnu and Buddhist monastery. The museum shows a lot about hindu religion.

Utpala dynasty was a Chamar dynasty which ruled over the larger Kashmir region in the northern part of the Indian subcontinent from 8th to 10th century CE. The kingdom was established by Avanti Varman, ending the rule of Karkota dynasty in 855 CE.According to Ain-i-Akbari the rulers of this dynasty were from Chamar Community. The cities of Avantipur and Suyapur were founded during the reign and many Hindu temples dedicated to both Vishnu and Shiva were built, notable of which is the Avantiswara and Avantiswami temples of Kashmir.

History first interpreted as Hindu period/Muslim period/british period by british scholars under agenda of divide and rule. Then after first census they deliberately over emphasised on Islamic victory and atrocities bye Muslim rulers on Hindus thereby glorified Islamic invasion over India and Hindus. That doesn’t mean that we keep animosity against our own fellow Indian citizen. This is exactly the same foolishness which was there among Rajput rulers against each other during mediaeval period. Hence there is no need of unnecessarily over emphasising negative events of past as this does not bring any benefit to today’s society and instead deepens the rift of hatred between communities which was once used as tool bye foreign rulers as their political expediency and this is totally against the idea ofek bharat shresth bharat and satya mev jayte, the RSS Home ideology. Can’t understand why we don’t learn to be unite in holistic way from history. History teaches only one lesson those people who adopted futuristic approach, get united and adopted scientific temper and approach, ruled the world. I went to Kashmir 2 weeks ago. I went to one of the oldest and well maintained temple near pulwama area. Being a bharatanatyam dancer I performed there few ancient karanas dance movement. The temple currently taking care by Muslim community. Besides letting me dance they do provide me drinks for me. I can proudly say that maybe past 700 years there were non perform dance for shiva. I made it and so blessed. I m from Malaysia 🇲🇾
The issue here is that Islam destroyed everything ancient and socially relevant to important world religions. But Islam does not regret its atrocities/actions on the basis of religious belief committed in the past, but still believes that it is its duty to destroy everything which is not relevant to the belief part of the religion and vehemently opposed to the truth of negativity still prevailing in Islam.

LOL Shankaracharya mentions the philosophy of mahayana buddhism, which didn't start evolving before 1st century bce. so no shankara did not live in buddha's or mahaveera's time. nor soon after that because no one and absolutely no one mentions him before 8th century ce even though contemporary historians and contemp. buddhist and other sources mention a lot of other philosophers, religious leaders etc. sorry, but sometimes you have to trust scholars. like when tradition places kukukshetra war at 3000 bce, but horse chariots did not exist in india before 2.000 bce after only it was possible because why? Because no trace of domesticated horse exists on the indian subcontinent before then.
Also Kashmir was a major buddhist centre. Did you see any buddhist ruins there or have hindus simply appropriated them and turned them into hindu ones like they did in south india?

I don't need to say about Northeastern Languages.

The kingdom was established by Avanti Varman, ending the rule of Karkota dynasty in 855 CE.According to Ain-i-Akbari the rulers of this dynasty were from Chamar Community. The cities of Avantipur and Suyapur were founded during the reign and many Hindu temples dedicated to both Vishnu and Shiva were built, notable of which is the Avantiswara and Avantiswami temples of Kashmir.

History first interpreted as Hindu period/Muslim period/british period by british scholars under agenda of divide and rule. Then after first census they deliberately over emphasised on Islamic victory and atrocities bye Muslim rulers on Hindus thereby glorified Islamic invasion over India and Hindus. At same time they glorified India’s ancient past as Hindu rule, and over emphasised on destruction of India’s glorious history and culture in hands of Muslim rule thereby promoted enmity and deepen the rift between classes. Later on in 20th century they over emphasised on atrocities made on lower casts by upper casts and thereby attempted to divide lower casts from Hinduism bye citing and over emphasising very few examples of discrimination in past literature. This was typical divide and rule policy. History of entire world almost all regions is full of atrocities on one class over another class. That doesn’t mean that we keep animosity against our own fellow Indian citizen. This is exactly the same foolishness which was there among Rajput rulers against each other during mediaeval period. Hence there is no need of unnecessarily over emphasising negative events of past as this does not bring any benefit to today’s society and instead deepens the rift of hatred between communities which was once used as tool bye foreign rulers as their political expediency and this is totally against the idea ofek bharat shresth bharat and satya mev jayte, the RSS Home ideology. Can’t understand why we don’t learn to be unite in holistic way from history. History teaches only one lesson those people who adopted futuristic approach, get united and adopted scientific temper and approach, ruled the world. But we are only learning to be past oriented, disunited unscientific temper. The nationalism without inclusivity of all classes or alienating one class under Hindu unity is not true nationalism but khokhlapan /Pseudo nationalism/anti-nationalism like pseudo secularism.
As Britishers interpreted history with divide rule, some people are misinterpreting history Ultimately this is also like divide and rule. Ultimately it’s nation and society who suffers.
Solution: history should be taught with perspective of present and future societal needs and not on basis of political need of some political parties as this would be like falling prey to international conspiracy of weakening our own nation and unity.
All the temples should be rebuilt in the same original form to reclaim our cultural heritage in kashmir

I went to Kashmir 2 weeks ago. I went to one of the oldest and well maintained temple near pulwama area. Being a bharatanatyam dancer I performed there few ancient karanas dance movement. The temple currently taking care by Muslim community. Besides letting me dance they do provide me drinks for me. I can proudly say that maybe past 700 years there were non perform dance for shiva. I made it and so blessed. I m from Malaysia 🇲🇾
The issue here is that Islam destroyed everything ancient and socially relevant to important world religions. But Islam does not regret its atrocities/actions on the basis of religious belief committed in the past, but still believes that it is its duty to destroy everything which is not relevant to the belief part of the religion and vehemently opposed to the truth of negativity still prevailing in Islam.

The unfortunate thing is that Kashmiri muslims who were Kashmiri Hindu earlier and converted due to Prosecution have forgotten their actual history and self imposed on themselves Urdu due to the religion opium. Irrespective of faiths people should not leave their own culture & language, Kashmir which was once a great place of learning has gone to the dust.
