I didnt know if i was 100% on this car but after this video im definitely pulling the trigger! Thanks buddy! 🤩
Hey brother, just gave you a sub, great vid. Glad I found a fellow aussie on youtube tuning the 3.0T. I've had my 3.0t A5 b8.5 on Stage 1 ecu and tcu for about 6 months now. I've been thinking of going stage 2, and I'm pretty sure this vid jjust fully sold me :)
Thank youuuuuuu bro! 🎯🤣🤣 that little D thing was getting on my EFFIN nerves!😅 & I’ve now got a wicked torch 🔥
Would love an in-depth video on everything you've done
Will do in about 6 weeks when we are out of lock down 🤩
@@TheFittingBay Can't wait. Looking at getting one.
Wheel setup? I know they’re 19’s not sure if you stated exact width and offset also tire size? Loving the look man
nice video mate but I got a question for you. Why does it smoke and when did it start smoking?
not even dual pulley yet and it pulls that hard, holy damn
Integrated Engineering... Best in the business.
Got my 8p a3 bullying foos just fbo and stage 2 91 octane tune 👌
034 Motorsports is Miles ahead of ie on the 3.0tfi platform in every single way, they got some problems with with some fuel files like 93 octane and their transmission tune is not the best and many small things but if it works for you it’s good but 034 tuned cars are setting record times ( maybe it’s better for the 8p a3 i don’t know)
@@kaibum8261 Idk shit about 3.0s, but yeah IE is top dog in 2.0 world
Could you explain how you tuned your car with Ie dongle.Download software without dongle in no drivers come up to download? Is there another address I have a v4 ? So just received it today ? So need so help to help get it going. Thanks in advance for anything to get this done. Regards Clinton
Yo bro.🤙 do you know if your Audi s4 rear diffuser fit on Audi a4 b8 Sline avant?
i know this is a old video now, but how did this fare with the standard heat exchanger?
Is that radio stock 3g?
It’s too bad they didn’t make the bumper removal easier lol 😂
The key is the temperature you get the part to, not the means to get it there.
200 deg is not nearly enough. If you set your oven to 450 deg it would have worked fine.
400°F is 200°C
How is ET and J this wheels?
How did you get apple car play ?
Nice vid, lol at the blow torch solution 😂 How has reliability been after a year of stage of 2? I just did stage 1 on my S5 thru APR.
I find there is too much torque in stage 2 and the wheels spins slow the car down versus a smooth full throttle start that you can do in stock form. Once you are moving it is very quick and too much power as each time I overtake it hits 100+ in a few seconds so a light foot is required on the throttle and I often do well over 100 on highway ramps. The dsg tune which took 9 hours to get done makes a big difference as it removes the power limiter and the red line goes to about 7500. I would recommend a stage 1 for smoother performance but I went straight to stage 2. I just had Audi change the 2 intercoolers and do a carbon cleaning. Shifting in sport mode is very quick but not smooth like a pdk on a 911. The shifters are not of much use compared to a pdk as if you are accelerating hard they don't respond to an upshift instantly and you hit the red line even if you clicked it at 4000 rpm. No comparison to a pdk.
The AWE system is way too loud so I changed the middle muffler to stock and it sounds much better with a deeper sound and much quieter at steady speed versus a loud drone.
u ever take it to a drag strip? I just went to the strip with EPL stage 2 including an intake and i ran an 11.96, on my s5. would be cool get a comparison
Not yet my man. It will going to the dyno soon just getting the cats sorted out first
What kind of apple play do you have in ur audi? Im looking to get one?
Besjan shoptfb.com/collections/audi/products/audi-a4-a5-q5-mmi-10-16-including-s-rs-models
Considering switching to Audi because of that AWD system
Great car..We think alike. Where did you get Ur Apple car play ?
www.shoptfb.com
Is that dual or single pulley? And ya gon upgrade your intercooler for dual pulley?
Reflex Revision Single pulley. Dual going on soon and PLM heat exchanger coming too
Bro, that’s insane. I want that on my B8 S4 as well 😯
Philep Bolanos Do it you’ll love it
Don’t do it the b8 transmission can’t handle it
@@yvngmvstard6811 How do you know that?
@@IanO3 been handling it fine so far 🙌🏽
@@yvngmvstard6811 The transmission in the B8 S4's is the DL501 which is the same thing in the RS7 and S7 which makes way more power. It can more than handle 400 plus HP. When you go Stage 2 on the ECU you also need to get the TCU tune as well to go with it. I've been running Stage 1 on the stock DL501 for over a year with no problems. The key is making sure your transmission and engine are in good health first before modifying it.
Dude Stage 1 turns it into a monster. Stage 2 turns it into a titan.
Hahaha dual pulley throttle body is the goods 😛
Other videos said too set oven at 400 degrees for the top pulley
needs a dechrome, looks sick tho
Literally on its way ;)
Central muffler delete or the rear mufflers?
Rear mufflers :)
What’s the 0 to 60mph time?
Edgar Jasson I got a dragy recently I’ll upload some pulls and times soon 😀
Looking into a b8 S4 in manual. All I can find around me are manual s4’s with over 100k miles, should I be deterred by the high mileage? Also what’s a reasonable price for one with 90-110k miles.
I just purchased a B8.5 S4 2013 nearly perfect condition for a used car for 21$k. Had 67k miles. It was tricky finding ones under 100k miles for sure but if you are patient the right one will pop up
Yeah he’s right man just wait it out a little longer and something will pop up. Also, the difference in models and cost is very different here in Aus. A clean b8 with low kms will get $25/30k and b8.5 between $30/40k almost better to buy in the states then import here. All the prices I see over in the US look great
@@porterreeve1823 all I’m seeing is b8’s with over 100k miles and the prices are around $18,000. Which makes no sense for me
@@TheFittingBay that’s expensive lol
@@michalbaran3088 yeah that is weird. Where are you located?
is this the dual pulley ? im new to this just got a s4
This is single pulley stage 2 install
So you're not running test pipes or a heat exchanger on stage 2?
ua-cam.com/video/sBYeNyluFvw/v-deo.html
9:15 oh fuck that's stupid lol. Definitely gonna go stage 2
You have to be very close to the car and keep the polly in oven over an 1 hour
How did you get Apple car play?
Right here

Right here :) ua-cam.com/video/w6yJFemVe6E/v-deo.html
Any Dragy times?
Jai van der Straaten I’ll have a video up soon with draggy times on this setup and then when it’s dual etc
The pulley is supposed to be heated gradually and cooled down fast, but not rapidly. Blow torch and upside down dust blow can is bad, mkay. Rapid heat and rapid cooling = brittle.
Mmmkaayyy yah true but tbh I’m just happy I got it on bc that was a stressful install 😂
What if my car is stage 2 already. Do i have to keep up with the upgrade? I brought the car with it already APR stage 2 single pulley
are you happy with the apr tune?
@@TheFittingBay yes, but was curious on how to keep the tune up. Don’t want to loose performance. This is my first Audi and tune, so want to stay ahead of the game
@@Capone10469 No way in particular, just keep the car clean, use good fuel, service on time, replace common faulty parts and she’ll be sweet :)
@@TheFittingBay much appreciated
@@Capone10469 how are u liking the car? Iv never had an Audi either and was looking at a b8 s4 already APR stage 2 tune,
What year model is this man?
Late 2010 :)
@@TheFittingBay I'm looking at a 2010 one currently. Sedan though.
Some honest thoughts. This car is too fast for a normal driver. Its fine for highway pulls but honestly, you bring this to a track day as an amateur, there is a good chance of a serious accident.
100%. S4 is a fast beast!
add an x pipe
Bro, that is a lot of work for one person. Hopefully you had help.
Just two hands brother
99% sure if u just removed the supercharger and done everything outside the car wouldove been much easier
I agree I’m a tech at Audi and it’s so much easier to just remove the supercharger, takes like 10 mins tops
400° is whats recommended, not 200°
400°F is 200°C
Anyone else bothered that it's dirty af?
