I envy the fact you started watching during the HHH era and didn't need to suffer with us during the bad 2019-2022 years of wrestling. Wrestling is SOOOO much better today
I watch wrestling with my ten year old daughter. She pop's for everything that the IWC complains about. She loves Cody, the IWC thinks that he's a terrible champ. She loves Jade, the IWC complains about everything that she does. Also my daughter is convinced that Gunther is the toughest man alive. From what I can tell the IWC is 50/50 on that. I guess it depends on your level of tribalism.
Been watching a bunch of stuff on this channel recently and just wanted to say I really enjoy this channel purely because you aren't peddling fanboyish nonsense, I wish there were more Wrestling channels like this rather than Dirt Sheets or Brand Warriors, keep it up!
I think overall it was just a good show. It didn't have any progress for some stories but what I always see with events like this, is that it ADDED to the stories of the wrestlers themselves. Also potential to plant seeds for the future. Events like these reveal more about the people you watch in a way. Example: You know now that KO is trying to be better, he isn't trying to betray everyone he loves, but he can't help himself either. When he shoved the cameraman away, there was some real animosity there. Judgement Day will now have to get down even deeper to get the Terror Twins who can run roughshod over them, but will the victory make them complacent. Finally, that Gunther can be vulnerable, but not in a way that is cheap. When faced with a man with a dark side, he can falter. But I am also like you, maybe not a favourite but a good show.
This was the first PLE I have watched since I think WrestleMania 21. I stopped watching WWE when I no longer was able to watch Smackdown with my Grandfather. Until I heard that Rey Mysterio had a match against Domnick Mysterio at a WrestleMania. As Rey was my favorite superstar when I was watching and never forgot the custody ladder match, I immediately starting looking into it. Before I knew it the Judgement Day, Rhea Ripley and Dirty Domnick Mysterio had me starting to watch regularly WWE again. Completely bought in to the Liv Morgan and Domnick high jacking (in my opinion) the judgement day from Damien Priest and Rhea. I gotta say Bash in Berlin wasn't this huge event but was super fucking entertaining. That's what I'm looking for when watching Wrestling, to be entertained and for that easy 8.5 (maybe 9) out of 10.
Glad you enjoyed it brother. Here's the take aways from the show in my opinion: *The crowd was very invested and loud/engaged *The matches were alright. Not my favorite by any means, but I don't think there was really a BAD match tho *I think the people who won were probably the right booked decisions for this particular show *I'm glad to see Berlin get a PLE. it's nice to see when a new venue show isn't a flop in a new territory as far as PLES go Was it my favorite show ever? Not really. Did I lose interest in some matches, yes, but overall il give it a solid 7-8/10
Thank you for mentioning us. Was there for both SmackDown and Bash in Berlin and two Meet and Greets in the Pop Up Store they had, Baron Corbin on Thursday and Carmelo Hayes on Friday Noon. SmackDown was solid and Bash in Berlin was an awesome experience. I have been to some Houseshows, but that was different. Keep up the good work and the content you put out!
From fav to least fav Cm Punk vs Drew Randy vs Gunther Liv & Dom vs terror twins Cody vs KO Jade & Bianca vs alba and isla I enjoyed each match the difference from top the bottom it just how much I enjoyed each one.
She's definitely the best female wrestler I've ever seen in my life, and is close to the top when you include male talent too. Amazing talent and she's still very young, she'll have an incredible career if she keeps this up
I love watching your videos, because as someone who has been watching WWE for about 19 years, I tend to get bored with the product, as I can see certain patterns. With this channel, its fun seeing someone enjoy the product for the first time and get that wow factor. Like for example, Dom turning on Rhea and choosing Liv, I saw that coming as soon as Rhea got hurt after WM 40, but you didn't, so to see your reaction was pretty cool
Jade was kept out of the match because her knee is/was injured. watch her hot tag, she light on her foot and her kicks weren't fully extended. i was surprised that they ended up winning actually because of that
The name for Bianca and Jade's team should be The ESTorm (EST + Storm). They also need a name for their tag team finisher. KO will turn on Cody at some point in the next few weeks. SmackDown is going to USA Network in two weeks and the debut episode is gonna be big for sure. I think that's when the turn will happen and they'll fight at Bad Blood with some stipulation like Iron Man or Last Man Standing.
1. Cody Rhodes vs Kevin Owens - Wasn’t too invested in the story of this match going in but I loved the in ring story telling, very entertaining match. (9/10) 2. Gunther vs Randy Orton - Two of my all time favourites. I love very slow, methodical matches like this where every move seems to serve a purpose, though I think it could’ve done with being maybe 5 minutes shorter. (8/10) 3. Terror Twins vs Judgement Day - Fun match, that’s all I really have to say about it. (7/10) 4. CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre - The in ring action was very good here, but I hated the stipulation, especially given how this is supposed to be a blood feud, I also don’t like how this feud has been reduced to two grown men fighting over a bracelet over the last month or two, I hope that stops leading into what I’d assume will be the blowoff match at Bad Blood. (7/10) 5. Unholy Union vs Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill - Meh. (5/10)
I really want a Randy heel run. Idk how but if they can do Orton vs Owen, with him being a heel, that would be awesome! They can lead into heel Orton vs Cody too
The main event went for about 45 minutes and the opener for about 32. They felt like 10. Theye were old school, wrestling masterclasses. The only thing I could potentially criticize is the winning condition for the strap match, but not really. All that said, my highlight was Terror Twins vs Judgment Day.
Match ranking: 01. Gunther vs. Orton - I love to see Orton vs. Gunther. Hopefully sometime in the future we get a NO DQ match between those two. Not now, but someday. That would be great. Very physical match and they also reacted to the crowd which made the match even better. 02. CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre - these are my kind of matches. Two guys just beating the shit out of each other. CM Punk looked great! 03. Womens Tag Titles Match - best Bianca and Jade match so far. Isla and Alba also looked strong. 04. Rhodes vs. Owens - just as expected, great wrestling match but nothing more 05. Mixed Tag - just as expected, a lot of drama but nothing special. Finn Balor needs to look strong the next week and Im not talking about The whole Judgment Day looking strong. Right now, I cant take Balor serious against Priest in a singles match... The crowd was amazing, especially as a german. It's just different to finally hear chants in my native language
Probably a 7/10. Predictable cards aren't bad per se, but story-wise most of the matches didn't really seem to further any story except for Dom/Liv vs. Rhea/Damian
KO not turning heel, so Randy Orton does, makes sense and telegraphs Orton going full Viper on Rhodes to go for the championship nicely. Orton cannot get that rematch with Gunther because of brands and blowing that shot at Bash he got because the Gunther victory at KoTR was called into question. It puts Orton in a position to get desperate and choose the title over a friend [Cody Rhodes].
5. Randy Orton vs Gunther - (Was boring like their previous match, but at least it was better than their last match.) 4. Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill vs The Unholy Union - (An exciting match, but by far the wrong winners. I'm tired of seeing Bianca Belair win all the time especially when she shouldn't be.) 3. The Terror Twins vs. Judgment Day - (Was a fun match with a lot of excellent spots and payoff Can't wait to see what's next for all parties.) 2. Kevin Owens vs Cody Rhodes - (I didn't even care if the winner was obvious. I just wanted a fun match and that's what I got. There was no point where the match did not excite me.) 1. CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre - (The match itself wasn't the greatest, but I am a massive CM Punk fan, so seeing him get his comeuppance against Drew was fantastic. The match stipulation was weird, and the cartoonish traffic lights definitely bothered me a bit, but all was forgiven with the entire brutality of the match, and the stipulation was at least used well.)
5. Women's tag match 4. Cody vs KO 3. Randy vs Gunther (Derr) 2. Punk vs Drew 1. Dom/Liv vs Priest/Rhea No match was bad imo, I this ranking the worst match is 3.5 stars and the best is 4.75, the rest is somewhere in between.
Triple H understands that they hit the jackpot in Rhea Ripley... it's very rare for wrestlers to have the crowd behind their back regardless of the change in their character especially for female wrestlers - hell or face. Rhea has that IT factor
My Bash in Berlin match ratings: 1. Cody Rhodes vs Kevin Owens - WWE Championship (8.5/10) 2. The Unholy Union vs Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill (7/10) 3. Drew McIntyre vs CM Punk - Strap Match (9/10) 4. Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley vs Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan (8/10) 5. Gunther vs Randy Orton - WWE World Heavyweight Championship (10/10) Overall PLE Rating: 8.5/10
Big Cody fan. That being said, the crossroads is lame. It looks so dumb and the set up is always so contrived. My favorite Roman moment is when he hit Cody with it and said that move is stupid at WrestleMania.
I enjoyed the PLE. Wasn't the best I've seen but none of the matches fell flat for me. My only criticism is that it was a bit too predictable for me. Nothing really surprised me, and every match result was exactly what I expected. Of course Punk is going to win so they can go for a best 2/3, of course Orton isn't going to win the title against Gunter in Germany. Of course KO isn't going to take the title from Cody in the opening match of the night. Obviously the Terror Twins are finally going to get their payback. And Bianca and Jade are two of the most popular women in WWE right now, so I fully expected them to win. That's not to say predictability ruins matches or stories, a good match is a good match regardless, and they were all good matches. I just kind of expect the unexpected in PLE's, like surprise entrances or returns or *something*, but nothing like that really happened. I'd give it a 7/10. Still had a great time.
I am the only person on earth who does not want the blow off for Drew and Punk to be in a cell. It's right there and Punk has proven he can do this match. Hear me out: I want Drew vs. Punk dog collar match. There hasn't been one in WWE in ages. I want it. Something something Larry something something logic leap Dog Collars. I know this is beyond wishful thinking but I want it. I want it so much.
I’d go drew v punk he’ll in a cell. Liv and Ripley in a last women standing. Fin and priest in a normal match that leads to a falls count anywhere down the line
Cody vs ko having no heat for the match reminded me of the time Sasha faced Bianca at wrestlemania, I was complaining at the time that they were friends and facing each other and the promos were them smiling with each other. But what are u gonna do when it’s the royal rumble winner, they’re are awarded the title shot for winning so there was no reason for heat
Matches ranked from favorite to least favorite, and I will rank my enjoyment instead of the in-ring quality. 1. CM Punk vs Drew Mcintyre (10/10 enjoyment, one of the most fun match of the year for me) 2. Randy Orton vs Gunther (9/10 enjoyment, I don't usually like slow matches but I enjoyed watching these legends battling out) 3. Cody Rhodes vs Kevin Owens (8.5/10 enjoyment, would be 2nd honestly, if KO turned heel. I'm tired of these turns dragging and not happening in B PLEs) 4. Terror Twins vs Liv and Dom (7.5/10 enjoyment, Fun match but felt it had no stakes) 5. Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn vs Jade and Bianca (didn't watch ngl, I wasn't interested in this match)
Its my first wwe show since i was like 10 years old. Got back in a little after you so missed most of the ruthless agression/pg and fell back in love so stoked! Tha ks for all the info in over vida helped me make an informed decision about tickets and such as well as looking for meet and greets@Dporticus
Overall I think it was a great show... I've been a Randy Orton since he started... With that said I think he should have won that belt... I also think he should be the one to beat Flair's record...
Are you sure you would like to see Punk vs. McIntyre, Ripley vs. Morgan, Balor vs. Priest all three matches inside of Hell in a Cell? I don't mean this in a bad way, Im just curious. In the past we had the Hell in a Cell PPVs and yes for a while I liked many Hell in a Cell matches at one PPV. But looking back at it now, if we have more than one Hell in a Cell Match on a PPV (or even in a month) it takes away from the match stipulation. I would rather see one Hell in a Cell Match and I think, Punk vs. McIntyre is perfectly suited for Hell in a Cell. There should be one or two HIAC matches in a year and these two should main event Bad Blood inside o Hell in a Cell
Not sure if you realise that inside America that WWE add fake crowd noise to manipulate the presentation? If only the crowds in the states were as expressive and appreciated the wrestling like the overseas shows.
I hear you, but for the fans it was just enough. It wasn't only SmackDown and Bash in Berlin, but also Meet and Greets, European Wrestling doing shows at the same Day, one doing a collab with Rev Pro, another flying in Subculture... Or maybe, it's today, it's hard to keep track. And it was hot all three days long, Michael Cole conpared it to Texas jokingly. I don't know if we could go for another one or two hours. I also don't remember an AC being on, so it was kinda humid in the Arena.
@@Dporticus I could maybe understand that attitude when they were actually "Pay Per View" and you wanted to get your money's worth, but now that it's a part of a wider subscription service (that some even get for free with their cable plan) I don't think that attitude really holds up. Quality > quantity all day.
I did not like the decision of taking the titles off of the Unholy Union. If the plan is for Belair vs Cargill eventually they shouldn't have won the titles back. Plus I personally really don't like Cargill. I think despite how she's being pushed, talent wise, she's mediocre at best
Hey man, I don't expect to change your mind, but I found the Gunther and Randy handshake off-putting. I'm weirded out no one feels that way. In this story, Gunther is a douchebag. He cheated Sheamus to get in KotR, beat Randy unfairly to win it, beat Damian unfairly. Called Damian and the audience street trash, called Randy's family a failure, called Randy the biggest failure of them all. Despite all that now I get to see Randy set on a mission to legitimize Gunther, shaking his hand and passing the torch. That is NOT Randy Orton. That's not how any competitor would ever act with someone that called them and their family complete failures. Of course they are coworkers and that's not real heat, they're putting on a show. But still that was immersion breaking, and it served no purpose besides glazing Triple H's favorite toy, at the expense of Randy's character and the suspension of disbelief.
@@Dporticus I think people would feel this way too if Drew and Punk went on and shook hands after the match. But I can see why for others it's not as bad as that... at least Randy and Gunther are on different shows, they won't bump into each other any time soon.
My match ratings: KO Cody: 7/10 Women’s Tag: 4.5/10 Punk Drew: 8/10 Mixed Tag: 8.5/10 Gunther Randy: 9/10 (yes I liked it and I thought it was much better than their match at King of the Ring) Overall: 8/10 What do you guys think?
Favorite to least CM Punk vs Drew 8.5/10 Mixed Tag Match 8/10 Cody vs Ko 8.5/10 Women Tag Match 6/10 Gunther vs Randy 5/10- I didn’t like their KOTR match as well but gave that a 6/10 due to not being as long I just hate their styles together very boring and slow and way too long I was happy when it ended overall 7.5/10 good show
I'm just apparently missing something with Gunter because I don't understand the hype at all. Yeah, he's skilled and more than competent in the ring, but his overall "gimmick" is lame, and he's just not entertaining to me on the mic at all. I just find him really... boring. But a ton of people love him, so I guess it's a me thing.
@@megaton_a I can understand not liking his gimmick for me Gunther is just a bad ass wrestler who going to destroy you in the ring and I think he a ok mic worker I think he a amazing wrestler due to his very stiff style he reminds of like a final boss type villian I understand not liking Gunther the things you’re saying are similar for me with other wrestlers that fans love that I feel the complete opposite
I think rhea and Damien deserved the win but a female wrestler attacking a male wrestler and he can’t fight back is weird …anyways looking forward towards Finn vs damien
1) Punk vs Drew. Right guy won. The match was worked perfectly by both guys. And Punk got Juice which is rare. 2) Best mixed Tag match I've ever seen. Rhea be the best worker in the business. Dom has improved alot. Damien and Liv are decent workers with great gimmicks. 3) KO should've turned heel by kicking Cody's leg out from under his leg 😄 4) Gunther vs Orton dragged towards the end. Both guys were gassed. Still better than most of the "All In" matches (except for MJFvOsprey and Swerve vs Dbry) 5) The Scottish Satanic Lesbians should've retained. They could've won the match after Bianca fails to break up a pin on Jade (who is still green). That could've led to a break up. There's 5 other tag teams that could step in and work a program with the Scottish girls. I guess it's best for Jade to be protected in tag matches with Bianca until she can work by herself, but it's been almost a year and the improvement is minimal. She's better in this environment than over at Tooney Khan Land
France was a terrible crowd and I’m tired of pretending it wasn’t. They were more interested in singing and getting themselves over then watching the wrestling

The story of KO is so intriguing to me. He will eventually give in and hurt someone he loves, and when he does, it will heartbreaking, but understood.
AJ turned on Cody, Owens will turn on Cody. Orton will turn on Cody.... This could become hilarious :D
So this wasn't mentioned but walking into the arena he was wearing a "Sami Forever" shirt. I think we're getting Sami vs KO in the HHH era eventually

I think the knee situation was a solid addition for cody and Kevin to add some intrigue.
Matches ranked from favorite to least favorite, and I will rank my enjoyment instead of the in-ring quality.
1. CM Punk vs Drew Mcintyre (10/10 enjoyment, one of the most fun match of the year for me)
2. Randy Orton vs Gunther (9/10 enjoyment, I don't usually like slow matches but I enjoyed watching these legends battling out)
3. Cody Rhodes vs Kevin Owens (8.5/10 enjoyment, would be 2nd honestly, if KO turned heel. I'm tired of these turns dragging and not happening in B PLEs)
4. Terror Twins vs Liv and Dom (7.5/10 enjoyment, Fun match but felt it had no stakes)
5. Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn vs Jade and Bianca (didn't watch ngl, I wasn't interested in this match)
So I'm going to nxt tonight and raw tomorrow. How the hell are we gonna follow up the German crowd!
Have fun though!
Its my first wwe show since i was like 10 years old. Got back in a little after you so missed most of the ruthless agression/pg and fell back in love so stoked! Tha ks for all the info in over vida helped me make an informed decision about tickets and such as well as looking for meet and greets@Dporticus
Since being a part of this crowd, this PLE will always have a special place in my heart ❤
Gunther vs Orton is over. Orton is heading back to smackdown to feud with Cody and he'll be the guy turning heel not Owens.
I am the table
Made u wanting more yeah, 5 matches will do that for ya
Commenting based on the title and not the video was definitely a choice 👌
@@Dporticus I love sarcasm
Not sure if you realise that inside America that WWE add fake crowd noise to manipulate the presentation? If only the crowds in the states were as expressive and appreciated the wrestling like the overseas shows.

The fact that the ppv was only 3 hours made it the worst. Ppvs need to be 4 hours atleast
Why does it NEED to be 4 hours?
@@Dporticus I could maybe understand that attitude when they were actually "Pay Per View" and you wanted to get your money's worth, but now that it's a part of a wider subscription service (that some even get for free with their cable plan) I don't think that attitude really holds up. Quality > quantity all day.
I did not like the decision of taking the titles off of the Unholy Union. If the plan is for Belair vs Cargill eventually they shouldn't have won the titles back. Plus I personally really don't like Cargill. I think despite how she's being pushed, talent wise, she's mediocre at best
I love you and the vids but it’s Lyon (Lee-on), not lee-own
@@seanw7452 are you lyon to me rn?
Idk that feels a bit harsh. I saw it as two dudes who earned each other's respect after a slugfest. I don't see it in the negative light you did.
@@Dporticus I think people would feel this way too if Drew and Punk went on and shook hands after the match. But I can see why for others it's not as bad as that... at least Randy and Gunther are on different shows, they won't bump into each other any time soon.
Eh,the show was fine.
Drew McIntyre vs. C.M. Punk should be the only match that is in the Cell. And there SHOULD be BLOOD!
My match ratings:
KO Cody: 7/10
Women’s Tag: 4.5/10
Punk Drew: 8/10
Mixed Tag: 8.5/10
Gunther Randy: 9/10 (yes I liked it and I thought it was much better than their match at King of the Ring)
Overall: 8/10
What do you guys think?
Alba Fyre is really growing on me 🎉
Loss me with that 4.5
@@Optilliam it wasn’t that good of a match imo. And it shouldn’t have been on the show honestly. Chad Howdy, Andrade Carmelo, etc could’ve been on it
Favorite to least
CM Punk vs Drew 8.5/10
Mixed Tag Match 8/10
Cody vs Ko 8.5/10
Women Tag Match 6/10
Gunther vs Randy 5/10- I didn’t like their KOTR match as well but gave that a 6/10 due to not being as long I just hate their styles together very boring and slow and way too long I was happy when it ended overall 7.5/10 good show
I'm just apparently missing something with Gunter because I don't understand the hype at all. Yeah, he's skilled and more than competent in the ring, but his overall "gimmick" is lame, and he's just not entertaining to me on the mic at all. I just find him really... boring. But a ton of people love him, so I guess it's a me thing.
@@megaton_a I can understand not liking his gimmick for me Gunther is just a bad ass wrestler who going to destroy you in the ring and I think he a ok mic worker I think he a amazing wrestler due to his very stiff style he reminds of like a final boss type villian
I understand not liking Gunther the things you’re saying are similar for me with other wrestlers that fans love that I feel the complete opposite
I think rhea and Damien deserved the win but a female wrestler attacking a male wrestler and he can’t fight back is weird …anyways looking forward towards Finn vs damien
bLk grL magic 💁🏿♀️
Or
She-Men
NXT beat this one
A 3 hour ppv is bullcrap
Thankfully it wasn't a ppv
Miller Shirley Young Michael Perez Matthew
I liked the PPV, I'm still not a fan of Gunther at all.
3) KO should've turned heel by kicking Cody's leg out from under his leg 😄
4) Gunther vs Orton dragged towards the end. Both guys were gassed. Still better than most of the "All In" matches (except for MJFvOsprey and Swerve vs Dbry)
5) The Scottish Satanic Lesbians should've retained.
They were invested in every match and went crazy for Cody and AJ, what are you on
Contrarion shit
@@nalday2534 it’s my actual opinion
Just an ok show
really boring show honestly. too long and too many breaks
You might be the only person I've seen say it was too long honestly lol
Jade-est. That's all I got
