Love how there's someone one here who can just enjoy a show/company for what it is and now tear it apart because it's not currently on a roll statistically. Thankyou for just loving wrestling for it being great, we need more people who love all wrestling.
I'm going to be the devil's advocate for a second: the reason I personally criticise AEW is BECAUSE I love wrestling, and back when I started watching I was really excited to have another company to check out. I really don't like the direction the company is going and I'd love for them to get better, that's why I criticize Tony when he says that everything is great and that he's doing great shows and when he pays tons of money for talent that doesn't get used that much and don't justify the amount of money spent for them. I also have no problem with people enjoying something that I don't! But the same way people can say what they liked about the recent shows I can say what I didn't like. Hope it makes sense, cheers!
I concur! You said it best, enjoying all wrestling, thats how I was raised. I watched RAW, Nitro, ECW, even USWA! And they were all different, good or bad, it was entertaining.
This has become my comfort space in the wrestling community, sure you get some haters in the comments, but for the most part it's just "happy to be here" vibes.
"So many people comment hey man don't watch AEW, it's not worth it. It sucks bro. YOU SUCK BRO" You're awesome for actually being open minded and giving other promotions a chance.
Nigel McGuinness in the casino gauntlet was much deeper than just being a UK wrestler. He was a big name in early Ring of Honor and had classic matches with Bryan Danielson. His career was unfortunately cut short so for him to get this spot at that venue is genuinely cool af.
Yea as a Brit I popped like mad when he came out scared the shit out of my girl 😂 but I was very happy for him got his chance to be in Wembley and to get a massive pop I hope we get him vs brittle Bryan now 😂
As an AEW fan all I want is people to give AEW a fair shot. If it’s not your cup of tea then that’s fine, but just be fair. I’m glad you enjoyed the show and found aspects that appealed to you and your fiancé. I think most AEW fans can agree that it’s difficult finding circles online to be a fan because Instagram has a lot of people under every AEW post commenting anti AEW rhetoric. Twitter is even more toxic where you have industry people fanning the flames. UA-cam sucks when content creators seem to dunk on AEW for the smallest reasons. I 100% seen AEW fans do and say terrible things about WWE and their fans, so it’s not to say the behavior isn’t reciprocal. It’s just that WWE fanbase is like tenfold the size of AEW so when the WWE side does it it’s hard to avoid. I wish more fans were like you where they understood this is entertainment and the success of one company helps the industry especially the non WWE ones so we have variety. I prefer AEW, but I want WWE, NJPW, TNA, CMLL, AAA, and others to do well. I wish more people didn’t lose track of what’s really important and it’s not tribalism or a brand, but the livelihood of the workers and the entertainment of the fans.
@@kelseykjarsgaard5774 he has a team of about 27 people that help him. He addressed this point in the All In scrum that this narrative is false. People understandably don’t know what’s going on in the back or creative and these narratives stick, but people don’t update their knowledge when these things are cleared up. Tony Khan is t doing this alone and has a team where he’s pitched stories all the time. For example he had the idea for Mariyah May and Toni Storm, yet it was TJ City who helped flesh it out with the references. Mercedes has a producer that used to be in WWE that helps with her stories. At some point I’m sure what you’re saying was the case but that hasn’t been the case for years.
@@drevandamva Which is fine, because he's a relative wrestling noob. It's fine! They do look alike, and their ground game wrestling is at least sort of similar even if Mariah brawls more and Tiff does more aerials.
@@drevandamvaSurface level implies that he had all of the details and made a bad comparison. I like this channel because he doesn't pretend to be an expert.
Gonna be honest. When I saw the thumbnail for your video I thought "here we go, someone who's just learned about wrestling and is going to think that the way the WWE does it is the only way wrestling should be done." That's on me for being very presumptuous and pecimistic. Im very happy to see how much you have fallen in love with wrestling and how open you are to experience as much wrestling as you can. I'm glad you enjoyed all in. It was a really special show and im happy so many aew fans were so welcoming towards you in your chat. Hope you continue watching and enjoying this mad form of art that we all take too seriously some time
My viewpoint has never changed. AEW needs to survive, WWE needs to survive, competition makes EVERYONE better. The only people that monopolies benefit are billionaires and eff them. Honestly, social media and other fans are both the best and the worst of things when you have people dunking on you for what you watch, or even better, criticise something they don’t watch at all. I won’t like certain wrestlers just because I won’t like them, and that is fine. Keep being you and keep enjoying it!
You can absolutely be a fan of both. I'm bias towards AEW simply because I watched WWE for a very long time and saw how bad it became. It improved a lot now and I enjoyed some of the recent PLEs. Keep the love going. Now that you saw the bigger world of pro wrestling outside of WWE, the love can be very contagious.
Well now aew has been really bad for atleast 3 years or you going to jump sides and start having wwe bias. Why not just be honest regardless of what company you're rooting for
@@mikemadsen7926 At least 3 years? AEW was still great in early 2022. There’s no way you can compare the past few years of AEW to the utter brain rot WWE were putting out on a weekly basis for years and years under Vince. AEW have had some amazing ppvs during their weak period as well.
@@PaulSJFC94 the old Vince years fans say we're bad were from 2016-2019 (nobodycounts2020). Me saying aew was bad for 3years was me being nice let's not forget aew in 2019 was Michael nakazawa lubing up sonny kiss and the librarian. In the beginning fans were rooting for aew so they gave it a pass on everything it was just a matter of time they had to face reality it was always whack if anything they have a better roster now
@@mikemadsen7926 WWE was largely terrible long before 2016(which was actually a pretty good year, especially SD) the years of super Cena and the same group of wrestlers always at the top of the card, the guest host stuff etc was woeful television. Early days AEW was rough around the edges sure but it was the most exciting weekly wrestling tv we had seen in a long time.
That main event was so powerful where he was looking at his daughter/family when he was getting kicked saying I LOVE YOU after each one. Truly like a superhero moment
Lets not forget, this father managed to inspire his daughter through a culture he loves with passion. Kayfabe, he never quit there, he kept fighting and he won. Imagine for that daughter, who believes this was a real fight. Seeing her father, fight through pain and coming out victorious with sheer will and determination. I feel like Danielson must have been so happy to have this platform and opportunity to inspire his children (I am sure he does so every day, but not like this, with his know passion to wrestling, how he got to use that passion to leave one more additional impact to his children)
I don't watch AEW regularly, but I live in London so I had to attend All In again this year, and that main event alone has drawn me in. Fantastic story telling. Seeing Sting return & Ricochet debut was awesome too!
@@DporticusHonestly dude, it was amazing as someone also from England. Finally getting the chance to sing "It's the final countdown!" for Bryan's entrance, to seeing our own Nigel McGuiness in the ring after 13 years away and as someone whose favourite non WWE rivalry is Nigel Vs Bryan from Ring Of Honor where I was introduced to both of them, seeing Nigel in there knowing it's almost entirely to try and stop Bryan was awesome 😂. The MJF and Will match was so much fun as both of them are right up there for me as top wrestlers for different reasons, Bryan winning his last world title and almost certainly title in general ever unless maybe he wins a tag title with someone younger was epic and all of us willing him on and chanting for him, the atmosphere was just electric, I can't really put it into words, can't lie, had watery eyes when Bryan was celebrating, he deserves it so much for everything he's given to this industry and continues to give. Thank you Dragon! I truly feel proud and honoured to have been there that night, it was a very special night. Here's to hopefully seeing Bryan Vs Nigel one last time at Wembley in 2026. I went to All In this year and last year hoping to see it so fingers crossed for the 3rd time's the charm 😂. Hopefully people like MJF, Adam Cole, Kenny Omega, Okada etc will be there too and stay injury free for it 🤞🏻. As someone who's been in the YWC (UA-cam Wrestling Community) since 2007, I can assure you the tribalism has always been here, it's just social media has amplified it. I can still remember the videos arguing about which company is the best WWE, TNA or ROH and occasionally New Japan, those were the days and before that it was probably "WWF is better! no WCW is!" on the message boards 😂😂. Don't worry, enjoy what you enjoy like I do, you'll be fine and welcome to the wrestling community 👍🏻.
Been last year, sadly my view was obscured by the coroner pillar (cheap seats). Was my first ever Pro Wrestling show attended live. Screamed my voice away on the opener, kept screaming to the very end of MJF vs Cole. While tickets were cheap, the travel itself costed more (four buss tickets, hotel etc) and due to buss strikes I had to go to London a day earlier. Great show
Danielson vs Swerve was more than I ever could’ve hoped for, one of the best matches I’ve ever seen. The spot where Swerve keeps kicking Danielson in the chest, while Bryan is just screaming “I love you so much” at his family will stick with me for a long time
Glad you enjoyed All In. This will go down as the best pro wrestling PPV of the year. MJF vs Ospreay was amazing and had great story telling. Swerve v Danielson will go down as one of the most classic matches in AEW history. You should really get into watching Dynamite and Collision on a weekly basis. AEW is clearly the best pro wrestling company out there. A whole lot of action, surprises, and the crowds are always hot.
14:54 - "It didn't seem like anyone wanted Christian Cage to win" I literally jumped for joy when this happened. It was my favourite part of the show (Christian's lovely)! There were a good few in the crowd around me who reacted very positively too 😁
Common misconception, saying that AEW is more about in ring work. AEW excel at storytelling, due to them keeping full history of what wrestler done. Basically they keep full continuity throughout the entire career. In AEW you get introduction, revealed motivation, mentioned backstory, relationships doesn't get forgotten, character details doesn't disappear. Each wrestler is responsible for their own character details. and if they introduce 1 detail, it has to be connected to their other characteristics. This is how they get organic storytelling out of each wrester. Better the wrestler, better story is being told from his perspective. And the consistency and continuity of character is doable do to wrestlers telling about themselves individually. Other company has 30 writers telling stories about all the wrestlers, makes it harder for themselves to keep up. Therefore we get a lot of inconsistent behaviors and forgotten relationships. Just a point why AEW is purely Story driven company, and I've never seen any other company do it so well.
Love this video and love that you enjoyed it and went in with an open mind. I grew up on WWE but it's not really my thing anymore and AEW made me love wrestling again. I respect their fans though and how much fun they've been having the last few years with WWE. It's always a bummer to see fans from either fanbase try to tear down the other side and I'll admit I've been pulled into the toxicity at times. Your outlook is refreshing and the one more people should have. It's ok to like one and not the other or like both but prefer one, just don't be a jerk to other people. At the end of the day we all love wrestling.
I've been a fan of Pro Wrestling since I was 16 yrs old, I'm now 50 yrs young and live in the UK. I was there at last years All In, and was there at Wembley this past Sunday, 25 August and It was AWESOME🔥☝🏼. I watch all promotions AEW, WWE and NJPW FINALLY, welcome matey 👍🏼
Very glad you liked the show, and happy you have become a fan of wrestling. As someone who’s been watching for longer than he can remember, so basically my whole life, always fun to see new fans. Rather you like WWE, TNA, AEW, or whatever it is you choose, I’m gonna enjoy watching your journey.
So happy to have someone like you as a member of our community. As one of my favorites, Brian Zane, likes to say, "Like what youblike don't be a dick."
26:49 i dropped out of WWE full time in 2021, after 30 years of the same formula. Switched to AEW but dont always watch Collision or Rampage. However, Dynamite is usually a great weekly show that advances stories and ppv cards.
IWC needs more people like you man. And I can tell that the people on your community are like you as well and kudos to you from what you have done. I am now a fan.
I really loved All In, loved seeing the Rhodes and Von Erich’s on zero hour. My favourite wrestler is Claudio Castagnoli, happy he won the CMLL Grand Prix this past Friday night and then winning the trios titles with Yuta and Pac.
I'm really glad that you enjoyed All In. AEW really does everything they can to make their PPVs great shows. I'm actually the opposite of you because I pretty much only watch AEW, but when I watched SummerSlam last month, I was pleasantly surprised and I enjoyed it. So its nice to see your positivity and embracing both companies. We really need more people like you on the internet.
I’ve never been huge on AEW, but yesterday was pretty solid. At the very least I want to see the company continue to grow because it keeps us as wrestling fans happy with a competitive market. And it helps wrestlers and other people get jobs with more money in the industry. If we could just get rid of the toxic fans and be honest about the pros and cons of both major companies while also enjoying the wrestling, I think that’s the best way forward.
Thanks for the entertaining review, man. Always fun to see someone watch AEW when they're mostly used to WWE. Hope you continue to watch. I'm an AEW diehard, watching Dynamite/Collision/All PPVs, whereas I only watch WWE PPVs, so we're kinda the opposite, but I truly believe that when wrestling hits that pitch-perfect note of drama and action (something both companies do all the time), then there's no need to bicker over lines in the sand. At the end of the day, great wrestling is freaking awesome and unlike anything else in entertainment, regardless of the company producing it. All the best.
I had the main event spoiled for me, and even knowing who would win I was still pacing my living room. Danielson and Swerve casually dropping one of that best matches I’ve ever seen. This was pure pro wrestling, Roman vs Cody at 40 was pure pro wrestling. The two are completely different from eachother, yet so perfectly encapsulate what pro wrestling is all about. God I love this shit.
Mariah May and Toni Storm were in the best AEW Story of the year ...it was based on a film from the 1950s called "All About Eve" ..... And Mariah May is nothing like Tiffany Stratton .. she has worn pink even before AEW and Tiffany . You'll see similar comparisons between Becky lynch and Jamie Hayter... Which is absurd, the only thing similiar is the hair colour.
I haven't missed an AEW PPV or a WWE PLE in the last 6 or 7 years. In the last 3 months I've been on the floor for a Collision, a Smackdown, and Summer Slam. I'm a pro wrestling fan. The tribalism is so cringe.
This is a wonderful video mate. JUST ENJOY WRESTLING. Im proud to say I took my 10 yr old daughter to ALL IN LONDON 2024, her first event live. She adored it . We made moments that will stay with us forever and that’s what it’s all about. You won’t like everything but so what? Just enjoy what you enjoy and let others do the same!
It's refreshing to hear a new fan's perspective. I also appreciate the positive mindset when discussing the two major companies. The way I look at it, wrestling is such a niche product compared to movies, sports, video games, and other forms of entertainment. Most people that don't watch wrestling think it is "fake" and "lame". If you're a fan of wrestling, you should be rooting for all promotions to succeed. I think the whole industry would be a healthier if everyone was a little less toxic.
$50 is up there for a PPV, but Tony Kahn always comes through and gives us our money's worth. I dont watch all 9 throughout the year, but I watch the big shows. I was happy with the show yesterday.
You my friend have earned this new follower. Its good to know that despite having your allegiance to WWE, youre not part of that toxic tribalism and are open to acknowledge that there is another company worthy of excisting.
My favorite Swerve match was his Hell of War match when he was Killshot on Lucha Underground, though I loved yesterday's match, too. Hell of War is the most violent match on TV (non-PPV) that I've ever seen, but they make the violence count. Lucha Underground is where I got introduced to Ricochet, and I'm excited to see what he does in AEW.
I really enjoy your energy the community you create here it really give wrestling fans like me a place to go to just to express what I like without getting a hate comment or troll comments. Thank you.
I come here as someone who has been checking out your channel now for some time and am a life long wrestling fan. I’m also 32 and had been watching since I was 5. My father used to work as a ring attendant/time keeper for smaller promotions and even WCW in the early to mid 90s while bringing me to the matches at a very young age. I’ve also been in wrestling locker rooms and even tried myself to become a pro wrestler at 16 and unfortunately got hurt doing so. I’ve seen a lot of different types of wrestlers, fans and cultures of wrestling fans. I can absolutely say your outlook of pro wrestling is a breath of fresh air. There was/is so much tribalism to pro wrestling that I always never fully understood. It even took me out of engaging from pro wrestling loosely online because of the toxicity of each individual fandom. Wrestling is an outlet, an escapism if you will from the everyday struggles. There’s so much to enjoy at face value and sometimes a fresh approach from someone like yourself that has only watched a year and a half can be nice to see in this wrestling community. Keep up the great content and I will surely be providing some insight whenever needed as a diehard fan!
Absolutely thrilled to have come across your channel! From genuine fan reactions without the drama, to he “heckin good boy” cam in the corner. Instant subscribe.
@Dporticus I did bro. Continue to enjoy wrestling and ignore the negativity. Also I too was brought to tears by Bryan Danielson's match it was an all time wrestling classic.
This was an awesome video and the way in which I wish all wrestling fans held themselves. Both companies are doing incredible work right now and wrestling is better for having them both. Glad I found this channel man, had to sub :)
Love it, Bruv! I’ve been a WWE fan since childhood until 2012, but once AEW came along, I’ve never missed an episode. However, it feels really bad when we hear from toxic WWE fans and paid media on Twitter and UA-cam. But your show is different-it's all about the love for pro wrestling, which is what so many so-called wrestling podcasters are missing nowadays. Keep up the great work! ☝🎉❤
Dude I just wanna thank you for being such an unbiased source of wrestling commentary on the internet. It’s really rare. For what it’s worth I love both AEW and WWE, and wrestling in general, and I loved All In. Really glad you gave the show a watch! Edit: I am also not a fan of Mercedes. Feel like very few people agree on this
Subscribed bc my god, it’s so refreshing to finally hear someone come at this with an open mind. I’ve grown so used to every time I access AEW content online, to be attacked for what I enjoy and love, so to find a space where it’s safe from that level of intensity, where someone enjoys all wrestling can offer no matter which company, is brilliant. So damn glad you enjoyed it- I was there in person, by the entrance ramp, and can confirm the energy there was insane- and can’t wait to see where wrestling goes in the future. (Edit- Laughed so hard at the Darby comments, love the man and his wrestling to bits but I get it 😂)
Throwing you another couple bones because this is becoming one of my favorite UA-cam channels. I totally agree about the streamers in the rafters. Makes the ring area fee lived in imo.
I just wanted to say I've really been enjoying your videos these past few months. You've offered a fantastic perspective on something I love, and I appreciate having found someone who just enjoys wrestling for what it is rather than feeling pressured to pick sides.
The main event was such a cool moment. For myself, seeing Bryan was so special, I've already mentioned it, but Bryan is one of my all-time favourites. Seeing him win the world title was such a good moment. I started going to live shows last year, and this year I've gotten to see two of my all-time favourites in world title matches for different promotions (those being Bryan and Styles). Again, call me biased, but when you have moments like that in-person, there's something really cool and special about it.
Such a cool experiences to listen to somebody's perception raw, unbiased newbey perception of things you are used to. It feels like watching it for the first time again.
It’s so incredibly refreshing to see someone put their preference or go to promotion aside and just make a genuine fair attempt to check out other wrestling without making it a weird feud, especially as someone who has been watching wrestling for almost 20 years at this point. Super well done! you remind me a lot of my friend who I’ve been getting into wrestling lately (I’m actually taking him to AEW this Wednesday) with how genuinely curious and willing you are to give everything a chance
You have seen Jack Perry before. He was the one that got his legs set on fire in that same match Darby was hanging in. Side note: he's the son of 90210 actor Luke Perry
Just found this video and i love the mantra of just positivity within the wrestling community! And its always awesome seeing people getting into wrestling as a whole
The other cool thing about the Casino Gauntlet Match is that the time intervals between new wrestler additions are randomized. Welcome to AEW brother! I'll have to join the Patreon for sure. I don't know if people have sent you any Orange Cassidy matches, but they are a definite treat. He's a ton of fun, his laid-back attitude and his wrestling style are top notch to me. He was the first entry into the Casino Gauntlet Match, with the shades.
I stumbled on your video and enjoyed your comments. I was a diehard WWE fan until shortly before the pandemic hit. I found myself watching (often times skimming through) 5 hours of RAW & Smackdown and not caring about one single story/angle, so I started watching AEW (only missed the first PPV) and Impact/TNA. I'll probably go back and start watching NXT again since Giulia has finally debuted and WWE eventually (though I've never been a fan of Punk or Cena). Wrestling is a very unique form of entertainment, a live action stunt show soap opera that tells stories in a very unique way. I might also recommend watching the WrestleTalk UA-cam channel for their news updates, although your subscribers seem to be able to fill you in on most of the context you might be missing. Enjoy your journey!
Ultimately, its unfair to compare the two companies (not the product, the companies - attendence, costs, etc), since they are not on the same footing. One has been around for 50 years, and for over 20 years was literally the only main line product. The other just started in 2019, and had to almost immediately deal with the pandemic shutdowns. It would be like comparing Walmart and a new retail startup company. The level that AEW has reached in such a short time is frankly amazing from a business standpoint. In the end, everyone should enjoy what they enjoy and celebrate it instead of tearing down what they don't. And I say that as a person that has been a fan since Wrestlemania 1 - that was my first show. Keep on loving what you love dude and bringing positivity to the fandoms. It's a great addition.
Just had this video recommended, and I have to say I love the positivity and reasoned takes. And as an die hard AEW fan, it's always fun to see people outside that specific fan base give it a fair chance and see how the different presentation style and focus are experienced. If only the internet wrestling community had more of this and less tribalism, I believe we could grow the total fan base exponentially.
Saw this in my feed and it's so amazing and refreshing to get someone become a new fan that is not gonna fall for people just hating on the product of another promotion. It's amazing that you'll be at Bound for Glory. Give all companies a shot. #WatchYourWrestling
I was at work when the event was live but got the replay of it and watched along with your watch along. It was hard to lock in to your reactions with the matches. A good way to line it up with the fans at home would be to “ding” along with the opening bell. Look forward to seeing more watch alongs!
I don't usually comment on things, but as someone who was there, I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the show and appreciate the lens you view wrestling through! After not watching wrestling since I were a kid, at the age of 29, AEW was the product that brought me back and 3 years later I'm now watching/keeping tabs on 3-5 different promotions. The biggest drag since I've been watching again has been the toxic tribalism from all different corners and countless media/wrestling outlets thriving off the negativity, and it's been draining to see! Watching this video was a breath of fresh air! Thank you! Subbed :)
You are a breath of fresh air! I love to see someone come in and celebrate all wrestling, just enjoying it for what it is. It is always amusing to me how you hear so much hate towards AEW, primarily from WWE fans, as if WWE is the benchmark by which all other wrestling should be judged. That's likely a product of WWE being the only game in town for so long and conditioning everyone to think that is what good wrestling looks like. In many ways, the territories era was the peak, and if you watch the best of Mid South, Memphis, Georgia, World Class, etc, you might find that today's WWE isn't really the benchmark either. It's all got its own flavor. Thank you for appreciating that. Also, you mentioned that you didn't know who Britt Baker was. Watch her lights out match with Thunder Rosa, and you'll see her level of commitment to this business.
I dig your approach. Definitely got a subscriber. No tribalist nonsense, just enjoying wrestling as a new fan. Don't ever change that approach. Also, you're very right about the $50 part - especially in today's economy. I love watching AEW and WWE and having Peacock makes WWE's main product a lot more accessible to fans. That's important in the streaming era so I hope AEW follows suit with Max.
Strong video bud. And you have the perfect mind set for just enjoying all Wrestling. My son and I saw Will at a RevPro show last year. Ring side and utterly brilliant. Hope you follow weekly Dynamite. The Danielson run is going to be fire.
My first AEW PPV where I watch from start to finish since I just started watching wrestling again when Punk came back to the WWE. Been interested in watching AEW since I love to watch good matches as well. I thought the PPV was great, loved the Ospreay vs MJF match, the main event and a bunch of other things that I can list lol I’m excited to tune in weekly, and now I’m heading to All Out in 2 weeks. A little nervous to see if a WWE fan is accepted but have loved AEWs stuff since I started watching. Excited and can’t wait for All Out
@@Dporticussadly the reason for the price is direct tv and dish strong armed them, when aew started Tony Kahn was told both tv providers would not carry the ppv for a cheaper price, hopefully Warner does a max deal for them. It’s bad enough most of cut cable years ago, and pay for it now just to watch the weekly shows.
Great review. It's so interesting to see the perspective of someone who is (almost) completely new to wrestling. You provide a much needed insight about a lot of things, honestly. Hope you enjoy this amazingly bizarre hobby of ours, and I hope to see more and more wrestling reviews from you! ^^
I just discovered your channel and I felt only positive vibes from you. I'm a big AEW fan but have full respect for WWE and its fanbase. Good to find someone on here who appreciates what both the companies are doing and their talented roster rather than stirring the pot just for the views. Subscribed.
An AEW fan here (not the toxic type, though). It seems like now a days people just like to hate for the sake of. But I'm glad I found this channel. I appreciate you, giving AEW a chance and your honest review. Because of it, I can say that you just got a new subscriber.
Glad you enjoyed the show and as always, I appreciate your positivity. Nothing good can be made with negativity or tribalism. If you liked the way the All In stories turned out, I recommend checking out the Ospreay vs Danielson and Swerve vs Samoa Joe matches from the Dynasty PPV. I was there , and that buzz we talked about from live wrestling lasted almost a week. Some of the best matches I've seen in person.
I think in the past five plus years there was only one AEW Ppv that was just okay (worlds end 2023), all other ppvs were great to amazing. If one loves wrestling and has the time and money it is both well spend on these big shows.

You're awesome for actually being open minded and giving other promotions a chance.
That quote stuck in my mind too. Funny and true!

Amen.

Tony needs to ask for more help for it to get better
My heart belongs to Nigel McGuinness now.
Good luck fighting Mariah May for the lad.
Mariah May has been around before Tiffany Stratton was even wrestling, just throwing that out there
Yea, it’s a ignorant/surface level comparison
@@drevandamva Which is fine, because he's a relative wrestling noob. It's fine! They do look alike, and their ground game wrestling is at least sort of similar even if Mariah brawls more and Tiff does more aerials.

The community needs more of THIS. Thank you for being a bright spot in the IWC.
Thank you for giving it a chance.
@@Dporticus glad I did. Social media has warped my perception of fans at times
The vibe in the stadium last night was AWESOME! I can’t wait for AEW Forbidden Door next year
It was a special environment for sure. The arena was buzzing pretty much all night long. It was so loud in the arena.
@@ThisIsMarkJones yeah it was, so many cool moments, I’ll always remember screaming for Swerve to Tap, Tap, Tap
@@TitanizeSK same. Watching Bryan in the main event win the title was soooo cool as a fan of Bryan since his Ring of Honour days.
Well said! More people like you are needed in the wrestling community please!
I agree 100%. Monopolies are never good for a customer.
Why not just be honest regardless of what company you're rooting for
You absolutely CAN NOT be a fan of both
@@mikemadsen7926 At least 3 years?
Must have been fun moments!
Great show
Always enjoy the impartialness of your videos and unbiased of your videos
14:54 - "It didn't seem like anyone wanted Christian Cage to win"
I literally jumped for joy when this happened. It was my favourite part of the show (Christian's lovely)!
There were a good few in the crowd around me who reacted very positively too 😁
I'm really hoping he loses because Luchasaurus intervenes and turns on him
He's a good choice it just comes with this awkward feeling of Luchasaurs not turning on Cage
I watch all promotions AEW, WWE and NJPW

It was cool watching All In with you. AEW has more work to do, but they're headed in the right direction as far as storytelling goes.
It was a lot of fun!
Agree , and that's being an alternative not trying to imitate WWE.

If Edge didn't get injured him and Okada would have been a fun match.
26:49 i dropped out of WWE full time in 2021, after 30 years of the same formula. Switched to AEW but dont always watch Collision or Rampage. However, Dynamite is usually a great weekly show that advances stories and ppv cards.

It’s nice seeing this from a newer fans perspective, Cause most fans don’t see the things you see. Keep it up 👍
I really loved All In, loved seeing the Rhodes and Von Erich’s on zero hour. My favourite wrestler is Claudio Castagnoli, happy he won the CMLL Grand Prix this past Friday night and then winning the trios titles with Yuta and Pac.
That rant at the end was beautiful 🔥Aew and Wwe are both great
As an AEW fan...I really appreciate this non-toxic content and would love to see more. Subbed
There needs to be more of you in this wrestling space. 👍
One day I will reproduce for this purpose 🫡
This is probably the best AEW show I've seen as a WWE fan of a bit more than a year.
That is so damn based💯
I hate the tribalism I watch aew mlw gcw etc
The Jack perry and Darby match was indeed cut short to meet the London Curfew time
This is a wonderful video mate.

Wow, so aew can actually attract a new fan. Youre one in a million though.
This is all for that heckin good boy. ❤️
Keep up the good work! Unbiased opinions in Wrestling are rare. It was refreshing to watch your video.

Thanks! That's nice of you to say and nice of you to do! I'm glad you're enjoying.
I hope more fans watch this. I like your vibe, man. Big fan. All In was so fun.
I just wanted to say I've really been enjoying your videos these past few months. You've offered a fantastic perspective on something I love, and I appreciate having found someone who just enjoys wrestling for what it is rather than feeling pressured to pick sides.
I appreciate that!
AEW always finds a way to jerk 50 bucks out of me every month! 😂, It was a pretty good show with a fantastic main event.
The coffin match was apparently cut for time due to the curfew at the stadium which is a shame. Hopefully they'll do it again sometime down the line
A longtime ago Brian Danielson indicated Christian Cage was one of his bucket list matches, so I'd assume that is why he won the casino gauntlet.
This is a refreshing watch - glad you enjoyed the show, but even more glad you're adding a voice like this to the Internet. Wrestling rules.
Just found this video and i love the mantra of just positivity within the wrestling community! And its always awesome seeing people getting into wrestling as a whole
Swerve is so damn good! The storytelling during that match was a level above anything i have seen in quite a while
The other cool thing about the Casino Gauntlet Match is that the time intervals between new wrestler additions are randomized.
Glad to have you on the AEW ride.
Bryan Danielson is my favorite wrestler. Its cool to see him be world champion again.
All In proved that every title matters in AEW. Every single match on that card could have been a main event for any other PPV. 10/10 🚫🧢
A big reason why I love your channel is how calm and wholesome it is, especially in a fanbase which is very judgemental and aggressive
Great video ❤
I don't usually comment on things, but as someone who was there, I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the show and appreciate the lens you view wrestling through!
After not watching wrestling since I were a kid, at the age of 29, AEW was the product that brought me back and 3 years later I'm now watching/keeping tabs on 3-5 different promotions. The biggest drag since I've been watching again has been the toxic tribalism from all different corners and countless media/wrestling outlets thriving off the negativity, and it's been draining to see!
Watching this video was a breath of fresh air! Thank you! Subbed :)
@@OldDirtyJoker thank you, I hope you had a great time at the show!
Great to hear all the positivity man
Strong video bud.
Excited and can’t wait for All Out
"AEW IS FOR EVERYONE" you can even wear a WWE shirt. Saw someone wearing a red John Cena shirt at All In.
Love this video!
As a new fan you aren't aware of this, wrestling PPVS were $50.00 for 30 years. WWE included.
I'm aware. But times have changed to the point where these ppv prices stick out more than they used to.
@@Dporticus yeah when I watch PPV it's usually with friends and we split the cost hehe.
if you adjust for inflation in 1990 you payed $120.33 of todays money.
Glad that they did the bundle for All in and All Out this year
Great review.
Such a pleasant but still constructive review. Just subbed, you're great at this.
Thank you ❤️
I have been watching wrestling since I was 2 and I’m 75 now. It is so cool to see someone new really getting into it.
Another reason Ospreay is connected to the Assassins Creed franchise is his moniker. He's called the Aerial
Assassin.
I loved your rant. You’re right and people need to hear it!
