There isn’t a person on this earth that can play the Freddy character like Robert Englund can! I grew up watching the Elm Street films and have a lot of fond childhood memories surrounding these films! He also seems like the coolest down to earth guy too!
I met Robert Englund at a convention, around 2017. He's one of the nicest people in the movie industry. How he was in this video is how he was with me and everyone else there. He's very down to earth and he seems to have just as much fun meeting fans as we do meeting him. :-)
Robert Englund is SUCH a wonderful guy! So personable and down to earth! Not like some celebrities, who just herd the fans through like cattle, just to get the money. I met him last year at a Con in Albany, NY, and he was just as nice and real as in this video, although he (understandably) didn't kiss my hand, ha ha! (I'm a GUY, y'see)!

Roger Wissinger I've read about and seen a lot of fan encounters with Robert and have hardly ever heard a complaint. Mostly only hear about him going out of his way to talk to each fan, and he always kisses the girls. Hahaha I think maybe what I hear the most is him encouraging young people to follow their dreams in the arts. I think that's really great.
I can only imagine meeting the guy, but I would probably be either nervous, shy, or awkward, as I've never met someone famous... I bet it would be amazing, but, people can dream.... people can dream....
