he seems so cool. I'd love to meet him and Heather Langenkamp. I've watched NOES over 1,000 times. .... and it never gets old. it's a Halloween tradition I have. Roberts the true FREDDY KRUEGER
Without Robert there is no Freddy! 30 years from now or more there will be others who might play the Freddy character in the future, but it will never be like how Robert plays Freddy! That lightning in a bottle only happens once in a lifetime!
met him in swe on some convention thing years ago. was waiting in line. he seemd rather bored, while he was just signin copy after copy of the standard thing, When it was my turn, he "shined up like a sun", As i had brought with me Death Trap on VHS, n he was like Woooow! i havent even seen these pictures before! etc etc. he was really happy, n chatted about the movie n' Tobe Hooper. it was like 50$ for 1 signin. altho he signed it 4 times and even wrote his favorite line from the movie on the spine of the cover, for the 50$. xd .. its a treasured memory of mine, and the tape n story is always a cool talk subject.
Easy to get bored when you're pushing 70 and doing the same thing over and over again. I'm actually surprised he manages to look happy most of the time and has the energy he does. Hope I have that energy when I'm his age!
I think most horror films that are really going for a more "reality based" horror such as "The Exorcist," I think those type of horror films in particular should have very little if any CGI.
Hi, we're looking for convention footage of Robert Englund for his documentary 'Icon: The Robert Englund Story" if you are happy for us to feature your footage, please reach out to us at cultscreeningsuk@aol.co.uk Huge thanks in advance
Because MONEY. People forget that Robert isn't super rich by any stretch. He didn't make nearly as much money as Freddy as some people believe (Should have been paid much more IMO), and he lives in a rather modest house in a nice but not overly fancy neighborhood. Cost of living in California is very high, and my guess is part of the money he's charging per autograph is going toward the people who've held these conventions for him. Really hope he does one final movie, but done dark like the first two :)
I met him tonight at rccc. He just seemed busy. I asked à question but it does get loud in crowds etc. I dont think he heard me since I speak very soft anyway lol. Hé was pretty nice but totally understandable. Glad he came out. My brother was jealous.
Robert Englund is one of the most magnanimous celebrities hands down. You can tell he really loves his fans as much as they love him.

Grayson Sauce back when I filmed it. It was 40 dollars. Now he is 100 dollars for an autograph.
William Smith thanks 👍
