Hey there Felecia. Thanks for making this video. I loved your approach to this video. You didn't bore us with data. Instead, you focused on the practicality of the display.
After months of researching, I got the Pro Display XDR, with the stand, for my HDR video hobby. It is absolutely worth every penny. I do fine art reproduction at work, so color accuracy is extremely important to me, but this Pro Display XDR blows away any monitors I’ve used at work. It may be wildly extravagant for a hobbyist, but if you appreciate a good high-resolution, 10-bit, wide gamut, high brightness display, I haven’t seen anything to compare it to. I’m extremely happy I got it!
Very well made video! I was surprised when I saw you had less than 1000 subscribers. From the production quality I would've guessed you had at least 100K! I can see your channel quickly becoming very popular.
@@will0499 Oh thank goodness 😌 I'm so glad you love it! I get super nervous when people take my recommendations on the chance that they'll hate it, haha. Enjoy your new display!!

@@_felicia It is mostly fine throughout the video. I noticed at around 0:30 music hit a bit too loud. I’d personally make the music quieter overall by about 5-15% depending on how you prefer it. As much as I like great background music in videos, it’s meant for background, and I do like to see a speaker’s voice be more prominent. But then again, that’s just my feedback and it’s up to you as to what to do with it. Great video nonetheless! 👍🏻 Also if that helps, I was watching the video on an iPhone 12 using it’s built in speakers (I am in the majority of the statistics haha)
Ohh okay, got it. Yeah, I usually lower it 15 - 20% too, to make sure it's not too loud. yeah that display is fantastic. Have you tried a curved ultrawide? I know its completely apples and oranges type of conversation, but I am just wondering what your take is on the curved versus flat. Im more of a flat 34,. I wonder if Apple may consider making something curved in the future?
So funnily enough, right before I purchased the Pro Display, I had a flat 28 in LG monitor and I replaced it with a Samsung Ultra-wide 34 in curved display. It looked really nice sitting on the desk but I noticed straight away that the fonts were blurry and the colors were more muted than my LG display. But the worst part was that within 15 minutes of using the display I had the most awful headache. My eye just didn't know where to land on the screen and it was just making me nauseated. (I'll end up buying it anyway! 😭)
Thanks! Also, I'm going to be really honest with you. I just got the Studio Display for my desk upstairs, (and I'm working on a review video atm) BUT I would still choose the XDR all day every day. It's just in another league. If you can I would go to an Apple store and look at them side by side to see if it's worth it for you, or if you should just get two Studio Displays. The Studio Display is nice, don't get me wrong, but that XDR is just perfection.
Meh ...i just use my XDR display to watch youtube videos and shop on amazon. Its fine, nothing special. The colors do seem a little pale compared to other displays like the Apple studio etc. Im thinking 2 XDRs would be more ideal since the 32" rectangular flat shape makes it not very ergonomic to do multiple tasks on it compared to a 34" curved for example.
I definitely don’t need it but it does belong in a museum

I'm wrestling with the cost of an XDR due to how Apple wants to charge you for this. Like come on, you're really charing for a stand!
Well I won't buy it. I don't need it. But it is the most beautiful monitor 🤩
See, this is the right answer. You can appreciate the design, even if you don't need it. 😌
It’s not OLED. Only 60Hz whilst some have almost 300.
Avoid the music background when making videos. ;)
