Fast Trains On Banked Curve At Railroad Crossing! DPU Locomotives Earning Keep, Radar Speed Checks!

Banked Curve At Railroad Crossing With Trains Flying Past! CSX Auto Racks Train Between House And Highway Gets Radar Speed Check, Norfolk Southern Trains With DPUs, 2 Mile Long Train With Endless Amount Of Freight Cars. These Trains Are In Walton, Kentucky. Includes Soybean Farm Update During The Draught.
I went to the Gaines House in Walton, Kentucky to catch some CSX and Norfolk Southern trains. The first train is a CSX auto racks train en route from Louisville to Cincinnati. I caught it behind the house. The radar gizmo is back again due to popular demand. We see a speed check on the train as it goes around the curve. You can also hear the defect detector audio which is on 161.370.
Then we go to the other side of the house to get a couple of Norfolk Southern trains. We see a radar speed check on a fast train with a DPU. We also see a short look at a possible hobo camp by the tracks.
Next, we go a mile or so south to the next railroad crossing which is on Locust Street. We see a banked track at the crossing. The brush was recently cut back by a Railfan for a better view. Checkout the awesome view of the trains coming around that curve! I got a few different angles of the same spot with some trains that were booking. We also see a close look at the rail, a few broken coupler pins and an old bottle that Scott found by the tracks. Scott, @1960gambit just happened to show up here at the same time as me.
I also included a train that I got just 2 days ago. This train is at the Locust Street crossing also. This is a monster train. It is over 2 miles long and has a DPU. This train was so awesome that I actually chased it and caught it twice. It will be featured in another video soon where you will see it coming up a steep grade. This video also has an update on my farm. We are in a severe draught right now and I went back to check on the soybeans. You will see the beans and see the fields that were just bush hogged an hour before I filmed.
